Good cutting, giving time stamps, putting article in the description and good explaining ability. I salute to you Sir!
U.S. Infantry Marine. Right to left is a thing but the core idea to take away is the concept of alertness. In Tarkov you need to see someone before they see you or you're probably dead so making intelligent decisions when it comes to using micro terrain, skylining, and staying alert when you're scanning the area keeps your survival rate up.
@@aresisis5427 I've often heard of people using a ⅔ rule in regards to walking hilltops IRL. Stay along ⅔ the way up the hill when walking along a ridge to stay close enough to the top to get over quickly if you need without skylining yourself. I've applied that in my Tarkov play, and it seems to help in my experience
good advice, you have to conscieniously stay alert - it's too easy to almost day dream as you are moving about
As for scanning environment. Scan in sections and not slowly move your scope. As the human eye more easily pick up things that move, and it's easier to do so if your view is standing still. So do like a Grid pattern search. Scan, move scope/view, be still and scan, etc
Good guide, nice edits. May your Ledx always be Found in Raid when you get back to your spot, and stay safe in Tarkov.
Subbed very good video even as experienced player this was easy to digest and straight to the point will help many new players . Will be trying those post fx later and didn't know the object lod thing !!!
Thank you so much. The most frustrating aspect of this game for me starting out is dying to people I could never see. It felt cheap and ruined any potential enjoyment for me. This helps a lot.
Keep going. that happens because of lack of map knowledge and player spawns / rotations. Learn where players spawn and how they rotate and ull be able to anticipate where you might run into people or where players might be camping you.
Just wiggle at them through the walls bro, then they won't shoot you. This video will not help, only wiggling will.
Thanks for the video bro, the post fx setting are so much better than any other video has recommended. Blessing
Bro goddamn, the production is not overdone or underdone, personality is just right and the chill factor is definitely there. I mean, it's just a matter of time you get big
Great video bro!!
Very nice video! Spotting someone or something can be quite difficult if you don't know the map you're playing on, and it's even worse if you're the one being spotted. That's why for me personally, map knowledge is king above anything else. If you can blindly traverse across maps, you'll be able to spot stuff sticking out that doesn't belong very easily. Knowing high-traffic areas and routes is also very important, and you can use the latter ones to your advantage by staying adjacent instead of sticking to them directly. It makes you harder to spot while you'll be having an easier time spotting other people.
Speaking of being harder to spot, I like that you've been putting in the effort to show how you can spot people across large distances where grass won't render in unless you're scoped in. What's important here is that larger structures and trees will still render in, no matter the LOD and the distance itself. So sticking to those structures for covert movement is very beneficial for not getting spotted, especially if you're being hunted. If you're hunting for someone to engage with yourself, keeping attention to movement is critical. The human eye actually perceives movement on the outer edges of your field of view better than in the center area. So if you're looking for movement, try not to look directly at e.g. a last known position of someone, but a little off of it.
I could go on over hours on this cuz it's so intruiging to me how much irl knowledge you can utilize in Tarkov when it comes to scouting, evasive tactics and counter sniping.
Thanks mate for taking the time for making this video, much appreciated
"Right to left", so nice! Thank you!
I was your 1000th subscriber!!! (you were at 999)
Great video and would love to see more tips like this in the future!
nice and quick video there! nice one!
Thanks for the tip limxyy i will add this to my game and see how good i become!
Great video bud. Subbed
Great video, good sound, soft music so we can hear clearly what you say and a good script.
I play very many tarkov and never know this! thank you so much! i will now be most pro player!
Someone needed to step in the shoes of LoneRaiders, they seem to have stopped their content creation journey, and your to the point chill attitude with nice editing and tips is exactly what has been missing in the community since Lone left thanks a lot great video
Just tryna do my thing and help out the community in any way I can really :)) appreciate the love man
Excellent episode. I have been struggling with graphics for along time. Still looking for good setting for my set up. I have a hard time seeing who is shooting at me. Inside, my dark, is pitch black. I found my NVIDIA control and raised my gamma to approx 1.3-1.5 and it helps but it makes everything else look gray(er). I appreciate you sharing this info
omg these settings just helped me become rank 1, thank you so much limxyy!!
You can free look, but your character has scoliosis
Thanks a lot 😊
Great music 😆 going to get you to 1000 rn
baller guide!!! thank you sir!
Helpful, and maybe adding some tip that you'd better go right of your cover to gain extra profit because you use right hand in game.
Good job 👍
The biggest issue with Tarkov now is shadows outdoor. Rocks and map edge shadow area is pitch black. Is kinda insane.
Yep. Like idk if i need to change my settings back around or what. But some spots on woods are so dark for me. If someone was standing in it i def wouldn’t see them.
5:22 another mentionable reason why you should scan from right to left lies in the fact that big scopes etc cover the bottom right corner maybe nearly the whole right sight. therefor you can spot enemies on your "free" side with much more ease
Actually so cracked
The animal crossing able sisters music is goated, we all played money farming games before tarkov, we were doomed to play this game
I found my father this is how good the clarity is in this video
Crayon eater here that technique is true and taught a lot
it sucks that grass doesnt render far, because I liked a more realistic approach, so like hiding in the grass you are actually hard to see.
10k hour Player here great video even i could learn something new i like that kinda tarkov videos great work !
My issue has been the shadows and that's just the game engine but they're just pitch black, even at day time and sometimes enemies are right in front of me but i can't see them well because the shadows just hides them perfectly.
Can you link your settings in the description or pinned comment pls. Im curious to try these out myself
Y’all are just mad you can’t pronounce Foliáge as boujee as me ong 😮💨
I laughed more at "im not a psychic" more than the foliage pronunciation.
Bro - So I googled it - and ur pronunciation is a bit odd... but I think its still more correct then the way I was saying it🤣
Awesome video brother! I just wish this game would get optimized my biggest issue is my fps being max 70 and mainly 40-50 around buildings i cant run post fx and everything all starts to look alike. It's almost become a joke to engage in pvp when everything is the same color or pitch black and then freeze for half a second when you get shot at or change the direction you look. I started when lighthouse was released and was able to get 110 fps with post fx on. Its like the have the maps running in the background.
If you struggle with post effects you can try and use Nvidia filters on your desktop to get more brightness or saturation etc. That might help your frames just a bit.
But yeah the game is so shitty optimized, I can’t run streets at all right now and I have a pretty decent pc myself 😂 appreciate the love man!
Haha with no PostFX it looks like the new Painkiller effekt :D great infos :)
Switch up Emilia intensity to 86 strictly (not 85, not 90+~ and you'll see more detail during the night (see 85/86 with visualize feature in raid, its much better on 86). Higher can cause the effect to differ, so I'd say stick with 86
I'm an editor for a YT'r on another game...I *believe* I notice the stream beats. Just my opinion but I'd avoid the bg music during combat/tutorial moments in the game but fade it back in during long moments of "out of game" talking. This is mainly just my flavor choice on it, but I wanted to share. GL and happy grindin
How many FPS you get on shoreline? Which ur Settings and Setup? Just for comparison
Showed my settings in the beginning! I don’t remember exactly how many but I think it’s around 90-115
The literal best way to see people in low light settings is this,
Open control panel, go to colors, all colors, throw your game up on screen side by side or in background(alt+enter) adjust gamma until satisfied, don't apply and go back into your game and play like normal.
The difference is astonishing and it doesn't greatly effect quality
Once done simply cancel the adjustments
Dang, this would have been a top tier video if not for 45 second intro. Don't be afraid to just get in to it. People respect that shit way more and likes will come for people feeling their time was respected (Which is rare on youtube)
Still helpful as heck, just wanted to say something. Thanks bro
Sitting at duffle in the beginning gave me anxiety lol
I heard on another video about a week ago reflex low latency is bugged and actually makes the game worse. That military scan is actually interesting im gonna start doing that
Yes it was 100% bugged and would cut your fps in half basically, but it is fixed now! (Or should be at least 😭)
My personal tipp: If you have a "weak" CPU like myself (I run a Ryzen 3600), then don't set shadows to low, on low the CPU will calculate the shadows and when you hit 100% on the core/thread where tarkov runs (the game is not good at multi-threading) you get bad stuttering. So set the shadows to mid and loose maybe some FPS, but at least smoother lower FPS than Higher average with poor 1% frames.
Also textures in distance look shit without Anistropic filtering, don't disable it or you will get eye cancer 😂
I been getn slaughtered in Tarkov so decided to play with the PostFX and it makes a huge difference
Okay... 2.5 you can't see him, at 4 you can. How about 3? 3.5? lol there are increments for a reason, I would have appreciated if you went through them a bit instead of jumping from 2.5 to 4 at that range with your mate
You’re right we should definitely have done that, though the point is the further up the scale the better. So I’d say just play around with it and see how far up you can get it without your game running like trash.
so, ig that is normal to get killed by a guy you did not saw or hear while moving true the map cuz is tarkov right?
It took me so long to figure out the LOD render distance for player models behind textures unscoped by myself.
It is such a pain in the ass to do solo. But yea I generally just keep it at 4 and dropped textures down to medium. I boosted shadows a little bit because they edges seem to flicker when they are on low.
Lowering your FOV is another huge tip
the way he said foliage
wouldnt it then be better to max out "Object LOD quality" and lower "Overall visibility" all the way down?
Hi, what does overall visibility do?
Overall visibility decides the render distance of terrain such as rocks, trees or even buildings. If you’ve ever seen someone very far away, and you’ve tried shooting them but they didn’t get hit, it might’ve been due to your overall visibility being on a lower setting!
I don’t think most people would benefit from having this above 2000 maximum in most cases though :)
hi what gpu you have ?
personally feel memorizing playesr spawns is an exploit and not intended to be used that way. They really need to address it and give spawm 100% randomization. Because what happens is people spawn and immediately run to the location of other spawns to catch them off guard or while they first load in, because some people may take anywhere from a few second to a minute longer to load in. If you cant have a map in game you most definitely shouldnt be able to know other peoples spawn locations. Ergo, it is an exploit of poor game design.
i got rtx 2060 super i7 9700f and 32 gb ram how can i get better fps? so the scope i can use?
Rengawr made a good video about how to increase FPS definitely check that out ua-cam.com/video/_htu-eTRf0M/v-deo.html
Yeah i know this video and watch it but the problem, the inside the bullding, i go closer so interchange tech store's or bullding is off and i cant use a scope.
Turn down everything to low and stop using stretched res turn on xmp to 3600mhz or faster
ou explain how to play Tarkov on this video if someone doesn't do what you say he
undergoes Tarkov and does not play it
How come I can't select 1440? I have a 3080 with 64GB RAM. Is that not powerful enough?
You need to have a 1440 monitor before it’s available, it’s definitely not a pc problem :)
@@Limxyy I'm sure you've been losing sleep over this, but I've upgraded my monitor and boyhowdy do I love 1440 on ultra! 😁
MY NVIDIA will not let adjust the brightness or color anymore
3:01 missile fired
Foliáge 😂
Did I miss you covering the "overall visibility" setting?
No you didn’t miss it, I just didn’t go over it really.
@@Limxyy ahh. I've always assumed this was the slider to see players and have has it at max. I may considered lowering it.. but seeing objects can be pretty helpful when sniping 300m+
@@HaecEsneLegas 100% I’ve tried shooting people through multiple layers of concrete wall before, since I didn’t have it too far up 😭
Intro music was too loud. only the intro. good tips thanks
which fov do you use
Last wipe I played 66 I think, now I’m on 68 so it isn’t much of a change really :)
Bruh I’m like 80 percent sure those three players in 8:23 were me and my friends like 2 months ago. We don’t play tarkov much so when we die like that I remember
The LOD 4 thing needs to be fixed.
This should be the highest priority from BSG.
without wipes maybe one day i gotach kappa, with wipes i only can dream of having kappa... is insanly hard to me play this game, i love it, but mostly is because i can't play that much, what not help, on last wipe i keep my survival rate over 50% on the end of wipe, but onlu got about level 30, i dropped the game in a point, okay... before i not even get on flea... this wipe i'am stuck in level 9, bad deaths to god scavs drive me insane recently... I got sniper on woods, in scav bunker a single shot on thorax, daammmmmm no chance to do anything... on custom a scav refuse to die, i mean, how could 404 damage on a single scav and still running? daammmmmm someone hear my battle and ambush me on the middle of it... sick! but some times i just rule them all making over 10 kills on a single match, the best one soo far was about 5 players and others 5 scavs on doorms... I guess the mindset helps a lot and i know sometimes i just accept death and keep calm, others i panic and not helps
I think its hilarious when ppl buy a space ship to game on yet run low settings lmao
Yeah well some games just run like shit no matter your system, Tarkov being one of them. And since it’s my main game I’d like it to run as well as it can really
You lost me when I noticed you play stretched in Tarkov in a video about recommended settings 😂
You’d be surprised how many big tarkov streamers play 16:10 🤷🏼♂️ there’s barely a difference
Rotating is great, but works basically only in heavy rain because in Tarkov people hear you miles away. Thats what I hate about it. You just cant outsmart players because they have too much intel.
Very true, when I do rotate I try to go in a very big circle around if possible to minimize sound and stuff. If anything then using grenades to mask sounds is really good too.
@@Limxyy yup nades do help. Sadly flashes in this game are absolutely useless junk :( All you have to do is not to look into impact area and it causes no effect. it has to explode right under your feet to at least affect your hearing :D
Watch this video at 480p. Jep thats kinda what I see
none of this addressed my main problem, i can't see anything because i'm 43 years old and my eyes are shit due to playing FPS games for 30 years. what setting fixes this?
Ah yes. For this problem you need to spend your 5 children’s college tuition money on 3 additional monitors (360hz 1440p) and the new 28 extra rows of stash space in the game. After this you’ll be on whitelisted serves and win all your fights !!
