@@wucus295 That's pretty much why I stopped playing this. There is a skill gap but that isn't my issue. My issue is that every time I decide to make a fucking footstep someone snipes me. I don't want to play every raid crouching and out-waiting the other person for 30 min straight. Yet I'm forced to, because if I make one sound then I get 3 grenades thrown in front of me.
Lowkey might be ur helmet, I guess the ones that cover ears muffle noise and footsteps. Found that out today from an og player I was playing with who got shot by a suppressed gun and I couldn’t even hear it what a fucking trip.
@@ripvanwinkler1548 I feel u dude. I also took a break for 7months cuz I couldn't cope up with the level of hardcore-ness in this game not that there is anything wrong with it. But I have started playing again for some days now and for now I have got 4 kills(which is better than getting killed at every corner before my break lol)in all the raids combined that I did after my break and made some good money too lol.
Love the game. I suffer from anxiety so when I enter a raid immediately my heart begins to race which isn’t too much fun but when I’m with my friends, I calm down and the game becomes a lot more fun. Play play and play some more. The game becomes less stressful as you go, I find. Great video.
I would agree with that. Playing other high tension games helps me relax more in Tarkov. Dayz, Vigor, Ground Branch etc all help with tactical play under pressure. I've lost a lot of that fear now. This is my third time trying to enjoy Tarkov and I feel I'm in a really good place with it now although some of the tasks annoy me still. I almost prefer playing alone because I like sneaking around and being in control of my movement. When I'm with my freinds i can get over confident or sometimes they will do things that get us into a bad situation and we all die! :p
I would actually encourage you to keep playing alone if you can though-one way to learn how to manage anxiety is to induce it artificially (e.g by playing a raid in Tarkov) and getting accustomed to operating normally under that feeling.
I kinda like it, no one game has me second guessing every sound I hear or every figure in the distance. When playing as a scav you're at a disadvantage when encountering a player because by the time you know if they're a scav or pmc they've already started shooting.
@@desy2478 I've only played with randoms but found large squads are actually more dangerous to roll with because at least 2 of the players are overconfident and they run around with no tactics. Tip zero: when you are levelling from 0 to 10 so you can access the flea market, avoid the temptation to sell your loot to traders and instead save as much of it as possible then sell it on the flea market once you gain access. I made 5 million Roubles selling loot to traders on the way to level 10 and thought I was rich. Then I saw how much more I can make from most items by selling them on the flea market and realised I would have probably made 7 or 8 million for the same items if I had waited.
Also if you can try to get a friend of yours to check tarkov market value for some items you have. If not you can try to find external websites to check item values for the tarkov market.
@@laku-tikku554 Yeah, the websites about flea market value are pretty unreliable in my view. But a friend giving you the value of some things will help to decide what to sell and what to save. Most standard edition players won't have room in their stash to save everything until they get to level 10 so they can just save the high value items. Especially the ones with a big trader/flea value differentiation.

Another tip/trick (although i dont know whether you've already covered this) at start of game- level 1, identify everything in the traders inventories- will get you a minimum of 2 levels. get workbench in hideout built, that way you can choose edit pre-set option and choose parts from the dropdowns instead of hunting individual parts on the flea. then buy the parts on the list and assemble.
For new players looking for a good first map to learn it is 100% interchange, just dont go into the mall until you’re more confident, and use the mall as a reference point when you’re outside
Awesome vid fox! These were some really helpful tips that I know will help me in the future. I've always wondered why people use lasers on their guns and now I know. Cant wait for your next stream and cant wait to see you again! Also, I hope that you and everyone else has a great Easter!
Had to come back to add another comment.... Absolutely the most comprehensive and best tips video I've watched thus far // and I've watched quite a few // and I've been playing for two years XD // Thank you so much, SwampFox. I hope to never run into you in a game as that gun will straight spray me down. Great hip fire, brother. I'm sharing this vid with my current crew. Much love.
Bought EFT last week, I was dumb and forgot about the Victory Day sales. *facepalm* could have shaved a solid bit off of the EoD bundle. Your video guide is super helpful. o7
Buying that cheap headset from prapor is beautiful. Feels like everything gets boosted so it sucks when in close gunfights or when it rains but it's totally worth it for the fact that it seems nobody likes using it unless budget reasons. For that reason alone I save money and have something I actually like using consistently come back. Lose 8 of them from raids one day, 6 or 7 come back the next day because of insurance so I save plenty over time
I probably have about 16 hours on the game, and I haven't even finished the first prapor quest, but his will definitely help in the long run. I've already improved my gameplay with these tips!
Just something to add too the lasers tip, the IR flashlight option that come on some of the laser/light modules adds the accuracy stat like a normal laser without leaving much if not anything for someone else to see (like a laser). A little bit expensive but can be a game changer if you hip fire often.
You can combine a TRAX 1 + TRAX 2 with a Strike bridge, then add 4 2-in CASV mounts to it, for a total of 1 scope mount, 1 foregrip mount, 1 above barrel tactical (the flat tactical lasers), and 5 regular tactical mounts in one inventory space. I always keep one in my secure container.
I've started recently and set the thumb buttons on my mouse to check mag on "forward" and fix malfunction + inspect weapon on "backward", first on press and second on release (or other way around, whatever). That way I don't have to learn a clunky default keybind that I am guaranteed to forget in the middle of a fight.
Welcome to Tarkov, and happy to help! I definitely suggest watching the graphics settings vid on the guides playlist on this channel, and any of the gameplay ones that interest you (they have tips and explanations to help newer players follow along and learn).
i use to only run up to lvl 4 armor, pushing past no more than 150k rubles. i just recently realized what is the point of having money if you are not going to use and throw it away. I ran a couple of lvl 5 armor yesterday and instantly got head/eyes on both. tried to find a helmate with a face mask, but the one i ended up buying didnt have anything available so i just said fuck it. in 2 or 3 raids went from 1.4 mil to about 200k. gotta say tho, when you bring in a chunky pmc, die and are able to laugh it off instead of getting an overwhelming sense of dread and just not wanting to play anymore, i think thats a sign that you have made it.
Honestly as someone who started 2 weeks ago, I wouldn't say that customs is the best map to start off with. Spawns are too close to each other and it's very easy to get killed less than a minute into the raid due to people rushing spawns and whatnot. Yes there are tasks there but shoreline and woods are much more forgiving and will give you something to fall back on for money making would be my advice.
I thought about this recommendation for a while, but as someone who's played over 4 years now, the reality is that all maps can be pretty punishing and unforgiving at times. Learning a map includes learning spawns too over time. Getting used to Customs will get your traders progressing faster, though as I also mentioned, there's really no wrong answer here. Playing any map that is suiting your pace and yielding results is a good choice in the end. Hope you're enjoying Tarkov so far 👍

Hey Fox, nice vid! Been at the game for awhile now, but these tips are always useful to keep in mind or jog one's memory with the little nuances of game mechanics. One thing, at 1:38 is it called the Documents Bag now? I always thought it was called a Docs Case, unless they changed the name recently with all these little patches BSG is putting out. Anyhow, good work and keep it up!
@@SwampFoxTV Oh yes, for sure. Just thought maybe having the current naming convention might help those timmies out there who are just starting out, and don't know the name or value of anything. God help them, considering all the inflation happening in EFT right now and BSG hyping up the costs of everything, such as hideout upgrades.

34. Sunglasses and other glasses reflect in dark areas which helps your enemy see directly where your head is. Number 1 reason i dont use them almost never. Especially bad in woods.
Yeah! It’s the Scav faction brotherhood. I usually Scav running as if there are zero or almost zero PMCs left in raids. The brothers help provide security. Only a problem when some rat player is camped in a high dark spot looking to headshot scavs when we go for the usual suspect loot buildings…
1) Increasing the fov actually increases fps. 2) "Use only physical cores" is good for AMD processors together with disabling SMT in your BIOS. (Gave me almost +20 fps overall) Tested all by myself.

Awesome vid fox! These were some really helpful tips that I know will help me in the future. I've always wondered why people use lasers on their guns and now I know. Cant wait for your next stream and cant wait to see you again! Also, I hope that you and everyone else has a great Easter!
Bro I have 2k hours in this game and I just realized I’m small braining the shit out of tarkov. Very helpful video thanks homie
Happy to help!
That XRSU tip was game changer for me holy heck! Whole video is great though, lots of handy tips.
Thanks Fox!
Happy to help!
Quick note on the pointing head down tip: It also makes it so that the helmet you're likely wearing makes a better target than your squishy skull
Found your channel today and I love the quality, man!
Cheers from Brazil
Thank you, welcome 😎👍
Epic tips and epic art!
4 years playing this game and this video still helps
Nice, glad it helped 😎👍
Had to come back to add another comment.... Absolutely the most comprehensive and best tips video I've watched thus far // and I've watched quite a few // and I've been playing for two years XD // Thank you so much, SwampFox. I hope to never run into you in a game as that gun will straight spray me down. Great hip fire, brother. I'm sharing this vid with my current crew. Much love.
Thank you, happy to help!
Bought EFT last week, I was dumb and forgot about the Victory Day sales. *facepalm* could have shaved a solid bit off of the EoD bundle.
Your video guide is super helpful. o7
Welcome happy to help 😎👍
iv only got into this game this year and im obsessed - this video is without a doubt best iv seen learnt a ton so thanks
Happy to help! 😎👍
Lose 8 of them from raids one day, 6 or 7 come back the next day because of insurance so I save plenty over time
I absolutely love these types of videos. I’m new to Tarkov and they help a ton. Thanks a lot and keep up the good work!
I didn't know about the swap loot stuff. Just for that you got my eternal gratitude and a like!
Happy to help!
I probably have about 16 hours on the game, and I haven't even finished the first prapor quest, but his will definitely help in the long run. I've already improved my gameplay with these tips!
Awesome, happy to help!
You got such a pleasant voice, realy enjoyable videos, keep up the good work
Thank you, will do 😎👍
Just something to add too the lasers tip, the IR flashlight option that come on some of the laser/light modules adds the accuracy stat like a normal laser without leaving much if not anything for someone else to see (like a laser). A little bit expensive but can be a game changer if you hip fire often.
Dude i love you, you saved my life with how to get rid of the handbook notification ! SUBBED !
Value 😎👍
Played for 1 month. Didnt even know the first tip, this about to be a good video
Edit: It was a good video!
Happy to help 😎👍
7:13 is the best tip thank you oml
Happy to help!
What does it end up weighing?
HOW DID I NOT KNOW HOW TO GET RID OF THE STUPID GREEN NOTIFICATION THINGS
Click the green number, or right click it that'll make it disappear.
Wow, sick video man! Subbed on here and followed on twitch! 🤙🏼
Thank you, and welcome! 😎👍
Just actually started playing only lvl 8 thanks for the help
Welcome to Tarkov, and happy to help! I definitely suggest watching the graphics settings vid on the guides playlist on this channel, and any of the gameplay ones that interest you (they have tips and explanations to help newer players follow along and learn).
Brilliant explanation. I've learnt so much. Thanks!
Happy to help!
Awesome vid, I’m level
27 first wipe and I’ve been doing good before watching this video but it’s good to learn some new facts.
i use to only run up to lvl 4 armor, pushing past no more than 150k rubles. i just recently realized what is the point of having money if you are not going to use and throw it away.
Even with some experience in tarkov, this video was really helpful. Thank you!
Glad i found this. Sooo much help thank you for the work.
Glad it helped!
102: don't hoard tetrizes on your stash, they might change it's value without any warning ;'(
F :(
this is the best video i've ever seen in my life
Hope it helps!
Thank you so much for putting relevant links in the description. For some reason this is something most UA-camrs struggle with.
This is a great video! Actually knew very little, thought I knew quite a lot haha!
Welcome to Tarkov, happy to help!
12/10 very helpful for me who is just getting into Tarkov. (And also into PC gaming in general)
Happy to help!
I have been playing for about a year, and I sill learned a lot from this video! I love the TLOU wallpaper lol, made me smile knowing that other people still like that game :)
Heck yeah, glad to help!
@@SwampFoxTV you’re awesome man! I wasn’t expecting a response lol. I like your channel a lot! If you ever wanna play , I’m always down :) (I’m pretty subpar though lol) TheLewdLord is the gamertag
Hey thank you for the screenshots lmao I was always wondering were they where going
Happy to help!
Just started watching your channel and it’s fantastic! Knowledgeable, positive attitude and fun without being over the top. Keep up the excellent work. Insta-sub
Awesome! Thank you!
THANK YOU. The very last tip gave me a FREE MK 17, a KeyCard Holder, and an Ammo Crate!!! Since I have a 10x28 tiny stash, this definitely freed up some space
Happy to help!
@@SwampFoxTV Probably gonna just sell the MK because of gear fear lmao… I just started playing and I don’t wanna throw everything away because I’m not experienced. Tools are only about as good as the holder can handle them, and I’m sticking with getting good with AK-74U lol
Really nice tips video. I learned a few things. And usually these tips videos aren't real helpful, so nice job.
Great video like always swamp. Keep up the amazing work and I love your videos.
I re-bind the sprint to the side mouse button, so I use my thumb to sprint. Not only makes my pinky less tiring but it also makes my reaction faster when shooting from sprint.
It's been 3 hours and I just realized that those 2 bodies stacked on each other was probably a guy hiding in a body looting it.
The AK gas tube attachment trick is so OP. Haven’t bought attachments all wipe.
Same, the X47 is good too with the 45 degree mount
@@SwampFoxTV that’s what I meant by the gas tube thing. Just couldn’t remember the name of it. I knew it was X something lol. I think it was one of your videos I learned about it before and it’s been such a lifesaver!
@@SwampFoxTV I also have always used a CMS because I am a med rat, I have 7 cases of meds And I’ve always wondered why the hell people use surv12s, Never knew until this video it gives you more max HP back 😑
@@Sturgill. Way more. CMS is 40-60% max HP, Surv is 70-90 if memory serves
@@SwampFoxTV Jesus. I have 15 cms saved, but I have a whole case full of surv I haven’t used 😑 this whole time I could have been way more healed up
Love love love the way you edit these vids. So original and well done. Insta sub
I myself am new to Tarkov but i do enjoy the struggle. I watch you and a few other Creators who play this game and have already learned a lot about different things. I do struggle with the footsteps though and which headsets are better for me. Considering the fact that i have damaged ears anyway lol. But anyways I wanted to drop in and say that I love watching your Videos and Hope you will keep up the great work!
Thanks. It's been called both over time, just like 'keybar' & 'keytool' so maybe I mixed them up but I'm sure people get the gist 👍
Super good video man, i love to se your videos. Thank you so much, stay healthy!
Thanks, you too 👍
Great tips. Found some new ones by rewatching this after few months
Nice! I will definitely do an updated version after the next wipe
I'm pretty sure Jaeger gives about the same money for provisions and meds as Therapist, which is useful for getting money spent on him.
This is a great video good job man!👌🏼
Awesome, hope it helped!
20:25 that finger before shooting at the light had me dying
Just started tarkov and Wow this video is so freakin helpful
Happy to help!
Another awesome swampy tutorial FTW. Keep it coming, boss.
Me watching eft videos: guy runs for 20 mins, runs into no one.
Me playing eft: runs 10 ft, opens door, dead.
Half of this game is luck, the other half is making decisions that can reduce the amount of luck you need
yeah happens to everyone last night i played at intercharge i saw no one for 30 minutes so i started to make noise on purpose heard some shoots but still didnt see no one,i noticed late at night at europe servers there are less people or i might be just lucky
One answer, EmuTarkov. Same game more enjoyable
@@DjDu3ce EmuTarkov?
@@taitianpalmer2979 it's basically offline raids, but with progression, keeping loot and doing tasks still. So solo-tarkov. But it's tricky to installing, cos if EFT picks up the file, you get perma-banned. So be cautious and research plenty before getting into it.
Just touching on the fps area, I recently got a 4k monitor and haven’t even seen too much of a performance drop from 1080, so even with a mid-high end card like the 3070 you’ll be set for tarkov
How about a Core i7 920, 12GB DDR3 ram and a 980 Ti Golden edition?
Is the processor going to screw me over?
The moment he mentioned you can click the green box to clear handbook notifications I died inside.
😮
34. Sunglasses and other glasses reflect in dark areas which helps your enemy see directly where your head is. Number 1 reason i dont use them almost never. Especially bad in woods.
Me just sitting here thinking... my pmc is like at level 22
My scav: level 22000
lol same. except my PMC is level 5 and my scav level 22000. gear fear much?
(Gave me almost +20 fps overall)
Tested all by myself.
Good video you taught me new things i didn’t know.
Thank you, happy to help! 😎👍
