another thing to note is your sensitivity will vary around 3-15% based off your gear, so using a similar kit will make things easier (in terms of armour, backpack, rig, helmet etc)
Eh you can adjust on the fly pretty easily once you have a solid foundation, be able to 180 with a single movement, flick to heads, etc.
you adjust but it doesn't change the fact that it fu**k your muscular memory @@KAJYT6969
this only applies to point shooting, ads is the same across all armors
Your tracking is insanly good, it's so smooth it doesn't even look human
Its good but willerz is the best.
Idk man i watch both and they are both amazing. Des' playstyle is way more fun to watch imo though than WillerZ..@@user-kv9mg2yh3v
You people still dont understand that all you need to do is play this game like a spastic call of duty player. This aint no tactical shooter
I have pretty cracked aim now after 6k hours but man... I remember first starting in this game I couldn't hit a 12ft wall if it was right in front of me. All the aim sway and recoil was so alien and that was back before the first recoil rework. I couldn't imagine the struggles new players have now with all the mechanics stuffed into this game. A video like this would have helped immensely.
hold left click and wait for recoil compensation isnt that hard
you dont wait for it you pull down until it kicks in and then you push up about 1/3 the way you pulled down. I know how the game works @@ElGreco910
@@ElGreco910 you say this because you've played forever or your view of when you first played is skewed.
@@whipwalka nope, i was a very good CS player before playing tarkov in 2017, game has always been easy because of the auto recoil compensation, and even more now with attachments making laser-beam weapons with no recoil.
if you have half decent aim, tarkov is a very easy FPS, i don't even play anymore, but people need to play REAL FPS and see what skill cap is.
and i didnt even talk about the soft skills which make the game easier and easier the more you play (because there is less and less recoil, sprint faster, etc etc )
Tarkov is a hard FPS for casuals or people bad at FPS.
@@ElGreco910 its the sway when walking, the moa, the desync, these 3 things on top of tarkovs recoil system not working like any other game makes for a hard transition when first getting into the game.
Criminally underrated player. Love you Desmond.
probably the MOST underrated, actually superhuman at this game
How can someone be underrated when nobody is being rated? Who has ever said this guy isn’t good or that other streamers are genuinely amazing at the game? Nobody.
@@joshpierce7820 They are refering to his popularity not a literal rating from someone/something.
I literally came to comment this exact phrase. 💯 ❤
He’s a fucking square in real life and that reflects on his viewership; he can click on things with the personality and sense of humor of a cockroach
This video is absolutely gold, thank you for making this. This is probably the most helpful video I've seen about getting better at Tarkov. Maybe people who take these games more seriously already know this stuff, but for me this was like hearing how an Olympic athlete thinks about and practices their sport. There are many good Tarkov players, but what's important here is that you're conscious of what you're doing, why you're doing it, and you're able to articulate that to others.
After watching this video, go watch some of Desmond's other videos or streams, and you'll see how they put all these techniques together. It was awesome to watch him go jump fire, jiggle peak, circle strafe, etc. (Then get reported as a cheater...)
Desmond: "As you can see, I haven't warmed up yet, obviously"
Me: "I have never hit that many consecutive shots on the best day of my entire life."
I've watched a ton of beginner videos over the last 2 years since I bought Tarkov and this is by far the greatest breakdown I've seen out of any of them. I had no clue it was like this. As you said, pure gold content here.
This was so much better than other videos I’ve watched, you really broke down each strat into smaller and more easily understood tips and tricks. For example, pivoting and strafing were well explained
This was one extremely helpful video. I hope to see an early wipe gameplay video pretty soon.
It's really awesome! You guide is absolutely unique, that's a lot of info I didn't know about before. You play style is amazing and your guids are solid, please keep going!
Amazing video. This is one of the only games where aim has so many incredibly subtle mechanics to grasp that rarely if ever get covered. I'm happy there's a resource covering those instead of just being basic aim training advice universally applicable for every FPS and found in videos for each of them. This is the difference between a game feeling slightly off and being aware of what's causing that and compensating for it.
This video is literally so helpful. You cover just about everything I feel people would have questions about. As always, banger video Des, keep it up homie 💯
Absolute banger of a video, so much useful info and some shit I didn't even know was a thing, like character pivoting. To this day I haven't found a player more methodical in their gameplay than you Desmond, keep em coming dude!
Amazing video. Entering my fifth wipe and still so much to learn. Thanks for taking the time to show this stuff.
I appreciate you passing on the experience. It is always great when veterans like you share the knowledge. I am glad that my friend suggested watching you, and naming you the "out of this world thing" due to how good your plays are.
thank you for all the tips and scenario based explanations. great stuff man
Watched a few guides on aim but this one is hands down the best and gives me a lot to work on. Great video!
Great vid! You did awesome explaining some of the more complicated points of shooting that I struggle to put into words for my friends. Will for sure use this as a reference in the future. Thanks bro!
There's a lot of good info here for improving in shooters in general as well as tarkov! Talking about the nuance of the sway and recoil in tarkov specifically was really helpful. Could never figure out why I have so many consistency issues in tarky specifically. Thanks broski.
love it man. very informative and even knowing most of the fundamentals in this video seeing your application and execution of the exercises is very informative
I will most definitely give this a watch once I have the time to do so, I am a pretty decent FPS player mechanically but I struggle immensely in this game, thank you for creating videos like these
One of the best shooting-recoil-movement guides out there, well done sir! Clear and simple explanations! This is my first wipe and I have seen an immediate improvement in my shooting. Thank you!
First video I've ever seen from you. Subscribed. Amazing content here man. From all of us newer players thank you.
Just so everyone knows, when you crouch, you get a 33% recoil reduction vertically and horizontally, in prone, its a 66% reduction.
This is the only Tarkov aim video worth watching on UA-cam. I've got 2800 hours but this was great reinforcement into what I should be considering during a fight.
Yo, first video I've seen of yours and I've needed this for soooo many wipes.. ty! This is g
This was extremely helpful, for me as a returning player who needed a refresher. Appreciate it man, you rock!
Was waiting for a video like this from you, super insightful.
So good! I've been waiting in anticipation for this since the announcement for it the other week.
I'm speechless. Great video of mechanics and great examples how they works and combines! Big thanks! Still exicetd to try it in actual raid and mos def will practice in shooting range. Now i know where to get most useful Tarkov tips! Thx again!
Getting used to the gunplay systems in this game given how different it is to other games has easily been the hardest, so a guide like this is greatly appreciated
But it takes so long to actually unlock the range it’s annoying that I have to go through that period. I really do want to get it though
@@thebulletkin8393shooting range lvl 1 is one of the easiest upgrades this wipe
I was literally thinking about looking up some kind of helpful tarky tip video from you and bam! Right in time for my lunch break lmao. Good shit bro
Thank you for this video Desmond. I'll definitely try and get my fire range up and running so I can practice. My aiming is generally pretty on point but like you said Tarkov has so many different mechanics to practice.
This is one of the best instruction/tutorial tarkov vids I’ve ever seen! Thanks!
This is probably the absolute best "git gud" at shooting video I have seen! Nobody else has ever mentioned the shooting range or talked much about the mechanics of the game. Most has been about rotating and gameplay methods rather than actual mechanics to practice. Also, the shooting range was mentioned to me by buddies when I first began playing, but will admit that I have failed to use it. You have done an extremely good job at relaying just how important a high level shooting range is and putting time in may not be the most fun, but can be extremely helpful. I look forward to your future videos!
Easiest sub of my life. Fantastic video, King.
What a great video man! Just recently started watching your content. Keep it up
First video I'm finding by you, absolutely flabbergasted by the quality of info. Easiest sub ever
Thanks for this video and how to better use the range! A lot of good information that I didn't have before and need to try out now.
I appreciate the tips. Currently, I've been making use of the offline mode map since the firing range is unavailable to me at the moment. I've been refining the skills you demonstrated in the video by practicing in the horde mode, and I've noticed significant improvements as a result.
Loved the vid man. You make the game look easy so it's nice to see the pointers *pun intended*
first time seeing one of your videos, but you have to be one of the best players ive seen at tracking, even just trying to track the moving targets in the shooting range can seem super simple but a lot of people cant have smooth tracking like that.
your guides are great - to the point, good editing, and very informative. thanks!
Leaning is something I realized I had no idea how to use correctly, I’ve been trying to pay attention to when I lean and I think you explaining the breath holding is super useful, same with the jump shot stuff, I need to practice this movement stuff and honestly I need to find a better sensitivity to do all this but knowing that these things are possible will help me improve a lot faster
This was so helpful it was unreal I have 3k hours and this made a huge impact on my gameplay the little adjustments I made me a better player thank you for breaking it down and talking through it good
Thank you bro, I just picked up MnK in 2021 and it’s like a double learning curve with all of Tarkov’s aim mechanics.
Dude, this is an insanely resourceful video. Props!
The best Tarkov guide on shooting! This has been extremely helpful, Thank you!
Desmond, your content is invaluable. Love all your stuff and your streams! Hope all is well man ty for the awesome content as usual!
Second wipe so far, and Im glad I have learned stuff. Thank you for passing off knowledge, Desmond
Dudes a beast learn so much from this video then I have playing and watching for a year 🤟🏽much love brother
That was huge man thank you. It's nice to just have something to work on thanks again
Really nice video dude. One thing that would make it even clearer is having an input tracker on screen for this. Makes understanding the jump shots a little easier to visualise for example
Well, now I know exactly what I need to practice on, and actually have a solid plan for improving those skills quickly. As well as a couple things I need to adjust. This is top-shelf, my dude.
thanks for the in depth guide my dude, probably the best out there
Great video Des. Really good presentation style too, no fluff just the fax
Hands down the best guide for tarkov ive ever seen (besides the wiki for quests lmao). But seriously I got 2k hours and in eft and did not know how to counteract some things you explained. Would love to have more vids of this type. ❤
Really appreciate the video I haven't enjoyed tarkov's Inertia update and never knew these high level tips
Thank you for the tips! Can’t wait to put some of these into use
Perfect video, you explained this so well. Immediate sub!
Love this video dude, we want more. Keep up the good work
Thank you for this video!!! I’ve trying and practicing these techniques 🤘🏼😊
Majority of this stuff is new knowledge to me and I'm only 12mins in.
New sub incoming
Bro, thanks for this video! I always sucked at gun fights in Tarkov and it became a glaring problem when I tried Arena.
I implemented your tips and it’s changed my fights for the better. I’m actually hitting headshots consistently now. (Also your tip about leaning in the correct spot is like god tier advice. I used to think leaning was pointless until you pointed out how people are doing it wrong)
Again, thank you. This feels like a whole new game for me now.
This and ur movement video are incredibly helpful! Thank u sir🙃
Excellent Video lot a subtle things in this video that can really help improve people's gameplay 👍
great tips, i feel like a huge issue ive had is not crouching and then the pivot points! thanks for pointing this out already a better player
Insanity levels of highly useful information! Thank you!
Great to see you do a tutorial video instead of a highlight video SO much more useful! Hope it gets more hits then the highlight videos!
Insane accuracy man, great video!
Damn! Gold stuff here!
Thanks a lot for posting this video.
Subscribed and will look for more content from you, thats for sure!
This is my first wipe. 200 hours in 27 days. Your video has helped me in my 200+ raids immensely. Thanks, brobro
super helpful i watched all the way through. more videos like this would be awesome
Super helpful. Def gonna go into the firing range and try a bunch of this stuff thanks
Thanks for these vids man, I’m so green to this game but I love it so much and I want to learn as much as possible
Good stuff, you and chucklesTV are very good at presenting a practical guide, and make it feel so simple, I enjoyed it very much. Thank you
chuckles has a head that looks like a thumb and banned me from twitch because i said GG after i killed him on labs
@@ghost7403sounds like he didnt chuckle?
This was an extremely helpful answer informative video. Thank you soooo much. 😊
Damn I am glad this popped in recommended. Very informative. Thank you.
Great video man we need more people like you. Keep the good stuff u da best :))
First video of yours that I have seen and it was very helpful.
This is my first wipe, great info, thanks!
Actually great video, I learned alot. Truly appreciate it.
this was super informative, for where I'm at in learning the game especially.
Thanks for taking the time!
Really good content , I like cancel running by use A or D the most (in 11:00) that help me so much to have a better movement thank you
Great vid. I agree that when your staffing left to right it's the same speed overall for you legs but if your leaning from left to right while walking from left to right it reduces the amount of time your head is away from cover. Only slightly but it all adds up.
Great vid! Loved this content.
Thank you for the in depth guide, as a fairly new player I literally had no idea about 90% of this stuff
Bro ❤ thank you I feel like this is gonna help me so much
Excellent info and visualizations of said info 👍
thanks for this video. it will help a bunch. I also hope there are more videos you can post like this, but afterall it is up to you.
Awesome video! Can't wait to see more like this
Awesome vid! your voice is hella calming too
Great vid mate. Your right that not alot of people know these things.
I have 2000+ hours in this game and I found this video incredibly helpful. Your shooting skills are next level and the video is very informative. Thank you for the hard work!
Some really good points dude! Thx so much
I don't comment much on YT bud, but this video is so well done. Your narration and explanations are very concise. Very well done bud.
Hey man I just got into tarkov and I ran across u and omgg u make it look like ur playing a different game soo fun to watch
watch you on twitch a lot, this video is so goddamn good dude thank you
You my guy is a great Tarkov content creator! Thank you!
Realy realy good Video Bro! Ty so much for your work 🙏🏽
I'm approaching 2k hours, and I can see my faults. I know a lot of note knowledge and do most of them habitually. This video compounds those good habits and def helps me root out the bad ones. Especially since I know I'm a decent player but I lack the real game experience. Love this, it's going to help me so much once I train to implement them.
