@birdman1325 there's nothing wrong with exercise if u feel it but I c so many kids doing it who've only been training few years it's more sense to do if u already build the size and just wanna isolate more
Yeah…all this modification is doing is adding a larger emphasis on starting the exercise from a more stretched position. It makes the exercise harder at the beginning of the rep. That’s all it’s doing - making an exercise harder. What’s stupid about that? He said it’s stupid to do it that way but I didn’t really hear him say why it’s stupid. He says it’s bc people are trying to do it one armed….but that’s a misunderstanding of WHY this modification is done this way. The point isn’t to do it one armed. The point is to do a more difficult variation of the typical exercise.
Really love your stuff Mike, you’ve been so helpful getting my chest and back work to a whole new level, but with this video you’ve really got me wondering why stretching the rear delts and working more in the lengthened position by putting your arm across your body isn’t a better idea? Who cares about finishing all the way around, that’s kinda the point that hitting the delts at the crunch isn’t as valuable as getting reps in at the stretch all things considered. Maybe at that stretch it’s mostly traps taking over? I’m actually inspired to be the first adult at my gym to give this a try lol.
Opens up with another Jeff Nippard smack! 😅 I see so many kids doing that one arm side ways shit on the peck deck. Every time I see it , I'm like " go away Jeff. I did try it once and it honestly wasn't that great tbh.
We dont need to try and outsmart the machines. They're designed the way they are for a reason. People need to learn how to use the equipment better and more effectively in the correct way, myself included.
It was brandon curry that introduced the world to the single arm rear delt on his media platform i believe at least that was the first place i seen it . I tried it for a couple of weeks it wasnt for me .
And you say it’s not just the contraction but also the stretch, that’s the reason I sit sideways on the rear peck deck is because I get a better stretch on the rear delt!
Every time I see someone with the cuffs I just laugh to myself, and every time someone try’s to convince it’s better I feel like I’m having a conversation with a flat earther and I just can’t help but laugh 😆
😂 I remember that.Pakulski was into that if I’m not mistaken he said he’s gonna change everything he did a show and he looked like he didn’t even lift correct me if I’m wrong
You may be thinking of Brad Rowe? He was really into using that machine in LA, and he does kind of look like Ben P. But Ben also may have been into that machine as well.
For the first time I disagree. I do the sideways rear delt on the peck deck shit it really helped me develop my rear delt but wait that girl in the background in the black shorts 😍 👍 best video ever!!!!!
Does wyck ever say anything constructive to these people in person when they're doing bad exercises or just talk smack in a youtube video? Serious question.
Every gym in Tampa Florida is all shit Hammer Strength. Same shit we’ve used since 2000’s. So much so that it’s easy to identify the issue in each machine if you’re experienced enough (aka your videos). These gyms need to do a whole update bc it’s bull shit. At a certain point, yeah the little offset in the seat every time I go to press, that I can feel translate into one leg pressing more weight than the other, is a huge issue once it causes an imbalance in my hips. So these gyms preaching “ state of the art” are bullshit gyms. If you transfer this ideology of refurbishing old equipment and marketing yourself as “new” to ANY other market, it doesn’t make sense. Chevrolet is not going “Hey look at our brand new Silverado that uses all parts from the year 2000 but it’s new” shit makes no sense.
Uncle Mikey so angry 😝 I’m usually with you but I fooking love the cuffs for lateral raises, that said I have capped delts and calluses on my hands do I don’t really care if anyone thinks it’s pussy shit
Ive been training for 37 years and just saw that 1 arm rear delt for the 1st time a few weeks ago. I thought wow that might be nice. Well then i tried it and realized it is complete garbage
I watch these videos religiously. Love and appreciate you Mike 🙏
Enjoy your 5 guys
It's the side ways chest press with one arm that really gets me😅
I admit I did both for a while.
@birdman1325 there's nothing wrong with exercise if u feel it but I c so many kids doing it who've only been training few years it's more sense to do if u already build the size and just wanna isolate more
All the kids see the tiktokkers do all this shlt…
Jeff Nippard showed the one arm cross-sitting pec deck for the emphasis of stretch
I bet he did
Yep it was nippard ☝🏻🤓🚨🚨🚨🚨

I consider failure the last rep that can be performed in perfect form. Thanx for the great advice Mike
Mike was right 😊
Thank u . I've be Lateral races wrong all years .
I'll be adding that exercise (at around 9:50 of this video) to my routine. I'll be following the same tips and technique from Mike. Thanks.
I love these RANTS🔥🔥💯💯

Lets go!!!! Rant rant Rant!
Influencers creating new exercises for clout are a cancer.
Go Mike!
I’m convinced most who use reverse pec deck incorrectly confuse their mid traps and rhomboids with rear delts.

Just wore that shirt to the gym on Friday and everyone was miring

exactly! on the rear peckdeck, i position my arm to where i get the max stretch and contraction on just that muscle, without contracting my traps.
Every time I see someone with the cuffs I just laugh to myself, and every time someone try’s to convince it’s better I feel like I’m having a conversation with a flat earther and I just can’t help but laugh 😆
JOEY STAX!!!!!!
....is a clown?
Yeah What about him ?
Hi dear Mike please tell when i do one arm cable overhead extension i feel tension on my delt but i try to focus on my triceps

@@raps7027 💯
I think I have videos of Ben using those pads saved on my old MacBook 😂
Missing Big3 Media with these videos
I noticed that the last few videos. Why is it a new videographer now?
Most likely, they had a full load to film and Mike graciously made room by utilizing the photography team he uses now.
@@supragame1991nah he unfollowed her on IG
Same. I miss Alora cracking jokes.
Guess you ain’t gone address Mac Trucc
The cuffed cable laterals offer constant tension, it’s not just about the grip
It’s Jeff nippard 😂 he’s the one saying that beginning exercise
It’s usually Nippard
8:43 Poor guy doing lateral raises probably think's Mike is judging him. 🙇🏻 👀
I swear to Christ I was just bitching about kids doing this the other day lol.
when doing deadlifts. concintrate on pulling with your sphincters, not with your nuts! 😉
For the first time I disagree. I do the sideways rear delt on the peck deck shit it really helped me develop my rear delt but wait that girl in the background in the black shorts 😍 👍 best video ever!!!!!
11:24 behind you, let's talk about that movement 🥴
Wow that wasn’t pretty 😮
Does wyck ever say anything constructive to these people in person when they're doing bad exercises or just talk smack in a youtube video? Serious question.

As a personal trainer Im continually seeing people try to reinvent the wheel. Funny and tragic at the same time

Apologize to Mike
