    I've been training over 30 years, and studied it from day one as one would a PhD
    I can't remember the last time I heard something new in the industry, but your take on things is very very interesting and something I'll be trying, especially now I'm old and broken 💪🏼
    Thanks Mike

    After watching Mike isratel I started experimenting with full ROM training. I do enjoy it, especially using lighter weights to get more stimulus. But what I’ve found, maybe it’s just for me, is that on most exercises if I go a little quicker and “rock” as you say, I feel the muscle working way more and it gets fatigued much quicker and comes with a much more brutal pump. If I do full rom the way dr Mike does, slow eccentric to a deep stretch, pause and then move all the way through the concentric and repeat, I don’t “feel” as much of a stimulus or fatigue as I do if I keep my reps a little quicker, shorten the concentric but still get a good deep stretch. My assumption is what I’ve found relates more to what you teach

    I thought I was the only person on earth who realized many years ago that RDL's aren't much of a hamstring movement. All they ever seemed to give me was a good back/butt workout.
    Besides the various leg curl machines, I also feel the hams work really hard when doing leg presses, hack squats, and HS machine squats with feet a little high up on the platform and a bit wide, with toes pointing out a little. And of course good old fashioned barbell squats work the hams and glutes as well as the quads.

    Mike, you seem to be contradicting yourself...at 11:25 you say to work in an arc but then at 32:52 you say we're not working in an arc, it's straight line in and out. I'm confused bro.

    • @zachblaha766
      @zachblaha766 6 місяців тому +2

      Agreed. He even contradicts himself at 32:52 in the same point he's trying to make. He says "The more that you guys think that its a let out, my foot going out and my foot coming back, as opposed to going like this *shows an arcing motion*...wrong." But then says "it's not an arc, we work in straight lines" the next sentence.

    Hi Mike, some advice if possible please...I'm 53 & have trained for yrs, I'm in great shape tho I'm not a Bodybuilder. For the last few yrs no matter how hard I push & trust me I push hard, I simply never get any soreness post workout apart from leg day. It's easy to say "obviously not pushing upper body hard enough" but this simply isn't the case
    Thank you in advance

    Guys save the posing after every set ala Hany Rambod teaching once youre top 15 at the Olympia. Get to that point and maybe it may give you a .0001% advantage. The last thing you want to do as a novice is to pose hard between sets. Between sets all you want to do is recoup so you can give 100% your next set. Posing hard between sets takes away from that.

  • @Prophecy23JC
    @Prophecy23JC 6 місяців тому +7

    This is where it becomes a little confusing with your training. You say certain things like they are definites for all movements of a certain muscle group, but then say the opposite. During standing hamstring curls 11:28 you talk about the movement being an arc. On the seated you talk about thinking about sweeping the ground which would seem like an arc. Then during the lying leg curl 33:00 you say not to think about it like an arc.
    You have done this with biceps as well. I would say its based on the type of exercise, but you say it like its for all of them . If you could explain this it would be great.

      Clearly you are not using the proper form when you say "alight guys" before the exercise, it only works if you have an 1/8 chub as well. The subtle nuances you know, but don't over think it maybe, hold your shaker in the other hand to always a good change up.
