This is still theory
Its exactly like the game Ben Finegold vs. This guy
"Everything is a theory until it's not"
-Ben Finegold
The whole thing followed Van der Sterren's analysis, which ends with "Resign, cry and go home".
yep it's the game "me vs this guy"
@@rajatsh5261 everybody got a plan until they get punched in the faith “
~Mike Tyson
I hate GMs like Ben Finegold who just play theory!
No creativity
:D?
Negative talent
i wonder how popular thegaminglemon was a year ago to have imitators
@@gofret1896 l
He actually played both f3 and f6 in one game! Impressive
Very suspicious
Yeah, but it's all theory.
What's wrong with f6? You guys mean like f3 but for black?
@@Harrier_DuBois f3 for black is litterally f6 lol
Ben played to lose and horribly failed
"This guy played pretty well until he didn't..." LOL 😂 sounds like my chess play.... highly suspicious....
sound like me aswell. i play a mean 1. e4 .... and then its all disappointment from there
Being a pro is easy. Just don't make any exploitable mistakes.
i have a good opening, a solid middle protecting my pieces and developing, and then i fall apart...i'm 350 elo lmao, started playing a few weeks ago
@@michael8815 atleast you are 300, im 200 :c
If you are able to have a good opening and you are able to develop like a normal human being, then u dont deserve to be at 350 elo. 800 elo sounds more like it.
"it's the mini botez gambit, that's like the andrea botez gambit". lol
Rook g7 bam
this line killed me
He did the unachievable. He played theory in practice.
XD
This is the chess equivalent of a cursed image
“That move speaks to me. It loses immediately.”. Wise words, master, wise words indeed.
i think he just didnt complete the sentence "it loses immediately for him"
Yes,I understand...
4:00 "This reminds me of playing Botez except I'm not 100% sure I'm gonna win"
Savage 😂
This is why I love Ben. Man turns his board into a bowl of spaghetti and plays meme moves, and somehow still wins, and even says "He played good until he didn't"
What a chess chad
how does your king gain experience and get stronger if you dont use it, am i right?
Fire Emblem be like
He just wanted the king to be the anime protagonist for once, sadly the queen took the stage as always
@@BossuJmek2k18 sometimes that one lonely pawn with only a rook (that one wise old guy that trains the protagonist)supporting him ends up becoming the queen and uses the power of friendship to defeat the enemy
@@xdan- "bloody hell, Eliwood, be useful for once"
"If the king doesn't lead, how can he expect his subordinates to follow?" -Lelouch
Ben is just a weeb guys
When u reach the GM realm and encounter some mortals
This is the game me versus this guy
It's still theory
From the famous match
"Gotcha vs. Bitch"
Idk what happened here its like you psyched this guy out.
it's what happens when you're a grandmaster that can see ahead 2-3 moves and play against someone who can see ahead like 0-0.2 moves
yea but that guy played like really really stupid moves. He's higher rated than I am and I am still facepalming myself into oblivion
Low rated players just blunder. He just blundered.
@@justadult3493 it's not the same to watch and to play
@@justadult3493 People tend to blunder more when they have more pieces because they think that they're already winning, so they tend to think less carefully. At least it happens to me...
I cant believe ben doesnt ever laugh while doing these
Ben looks like he's gone through his 16th divorce this week.
@@baconsauce6364 nah
"This guy played pretty well until he didn't"
Me, except the "pretty well" is e4 and the "until he didn't" is all the other moves
"He just got C3PO'd" :D pure gold. Pure Finegold
Not sure why you posted this, Ben. Very boring video, it’s clearly all just theory! Nothing new to learn here
this guy played well until he didn't
XD
He forgot the theory near the end...Lucky Ben he played this exact same game multiple times
this is me every game but the ‘didn’t’ part comes in on move 2
Nice profile pic, fellow metalhead! \m/
"I fork you, you fork me 🎶
*except that you don't fork me"
HAHAHAHAHAH
this reminds me [opponent blunders a knight] of playing Botez, except i'm not a %100 sure i'm gonna win ..... okay now i am
And then Ben wept, for there were no more pieces to sac!
Ben uses my signature opening, very suspicious!
Could be titled "Ben Finegold tries his hardest to throw the game and still wins"
1:09 "I have an active king" tickled me
This is actually the main line theory
Ater this game, this guy shut down his PC and went to have a long, pensive shower.
"He blundered his first move and I still lost."
"That move speaks to me"
Oh Man I'll die from laughing my pants out XD
** _sees video title and thumbnail_ **
Very suspicious!
"Now he's C3 -PO'd" I lost my shit
Bongcloud Attack : Finegold Variation
This clip is PACKED with Finegold-isms
opponent sacks queen
still theory
Keep up these great thumbnails rawr
Huge credit to you for cutting off his "yayyy" that cracked me up
Imagine you magically come across Ben Finegold while playing and you're like OMG this is so cool! and then he plays the bongcloud 😂
I feel like the Hammerschlag opening is Ben’s spirt animal.
Ben wins moving king 2nd move
Meanwhile I can't win playing London opening
Suspicious!
I'm just here for the comedy, I don't even play chess.
Love this mini clips
I like one game and short videos like this instead of posting the entire stream :))
Best chess video ever, I laughed the whole time
Hold my bong... Things are about to get real cloudy...
that was scary
It's pretty depressing to know that any GM can lose so mish material and still win against a player a little bit weaker than me
"Still theory" cracks me upppppp
"now he's C3 POed" oooooooh
His goals are beyond our understanding.
And your goal is to comment on every fckin chess video and my goal is to reply to all of it
i cant wait to try this opening in my 600 rated games!
that sigh when playing a fork.
1:08 "I have a active king"
1500 rating of that guy is an insult for 1200 rated me...
i've played Ben on a stream before. i'm low rated too and i got crushed and i didn't really understand why xD (i guess that explains my low rating :P)
I think Black played reasonably well - until he decided to drop 3 pieces/exchanges as fast as possible, that is.
@@kapa1611 Analyses the games after u played it to get better
You gotta love this man's humour 😂😂😂
Got to admire Ben's assurance that against 1500 he is sure he can give both piece and posional odds then be up on both by the end of a game.
This opening seems highly theoretical.
omfg ben, sacking all his stuff, then opponent is confused and resigns... *eepic facepalm*
Just like he teaches us how we shouldn't play but he does anyway
@@jibster5903 He doesn't want people to see his pet lines and be able to prep against them.
@Comment Cop not just a rook but 2 and a knight so idk if it was the biggest brain strat
@@Pokemon_Doge yeah but those two rooks were stuck and the opponents only active piece was the queen so it was a little justified but he would have lost against another GM with a queen for two rooks and a knight
I wasn't expecting this turn of ending...
ahahahh the Benbong opening, truly a legendary game
"This is the game me vs. this guy..." cracked me up
“Ah damn he saw it” lmao
This has to be my favourite game of all time
Just wait till he hears about the variations.
Of course. That’s right, I remember the famous game: me vs some guy
I like how this guy just makes his own theory 💀
Always remember to "triple up on the bubble up"
the only thing better is to quadruple up on the bubble up, because then you can call the torunament director over and win by connect 4
The unbeatable Bongcloud.
Whole game was actually theory
"This guy played pretty well until he didnt".....lmao
Bongcloud Finegold Variation
I think you were thinking about the opening where white plays e3, Ke2, Qe1, Kd1
"The King should lead." - Lelouch Brittania
Agadamator: And it was on move 2. Kf2 that we enter a completely new position.
The Finegold Immortal!
1:50 nice juicer from Hikaru
Understandable have a great day
This is made even more hilarious by Ben winning hahahaha
The never play f6 was so funny
"I like this opennig, mi king is active" rofl
Love it!
f3 *exclam*
"This variation speaks to me cause I have an active king"
Im superised you went for that sharp theoretical line, where if black defends correctly you're only slightly better after giving away all your pieces
“This guy played pretty well until he didn’t”. I personally identify with this
I kinda feel like Ben had been drinking before this tourney and something about that makes me really happy
The fact that the guy had to resign to not lose by checkmate after being up almost every piece for the majority of the game really explains why this man has Finegold in his name
Mr.gambit will be proud of this.
This might be the funniest video of all time
he thought chat would make fun of him for playing bongcloud wrong
Ah yes, another variation of the Accelerated King Aggression
finally I found your channel.
Chess lunacy at its best!!!
I mean if you think about it the king is just a free possible defender of 8 squares. I can't see why you wouldn't move it.
That was painful
Man, and I'm just touching the 1200's. Feel bad now.
that's so fucked up. that's gotta be so frustrating to have a dominating position from the beginning only to still be slaughtered at the end.
Is this like the bong cloud?
"He's PO'ed... Now he's C3 PO'ed"
Early bong cloud theory?
I love this guy
