I think the malignant narcissist numbers are much higher. I have had many in my life (family, relationships, work), but now I can spot them a mile away.

My brothers are both high conflict & use blame, playing the victim thinking that's going to get them privileges, it's so weak, embarrassing , forced to go no contact for many years. They have self loathing as well trying to play opposite

Who from this gang goes and test themselves, this statistic is ridiculous. Pathological N are severe mentally sick, they are animals who could not grow up into humans, but play evil and stupid god, like their parents were.

I hate that the DSM categorizes people with a narcissistic personality style as listed as a disorder. Dr Ramani talks about this all the time and I happen to agree. The word disorder in society can have the effect of excusing that persons behavior cause “it’s not their fault, they have a disorder”. Also to have a disorder you have to be diagnosed. And at the the core of a narcissist is someone who 9/10 times won’t ever seek help (they’re the best, they don’t need help, seeking a therapist goes against everything the narcissist so firmly believes.) I’m hoping we can make changes to the disorder title when it comes to people with a narcissistic personality style.

Spot on. Great summary of alerting type of people behavior. Don't rush relationship commitment. You really need to take your time and going through all kinds of situations and trust your gut.
    Thank you.

lets not forget the data shows that with the correct treatment actually people with BPD can go into remission.
The main link between people with BPD who go into remission and those who dont is 1, evidence based therapy and 2, a support system.
So this proves that these personality styles can change, learn how to manage conflict and relationships.
There are many people who was diagnosed with BPD that now live lifes worth living, have healthy relationships, careers and the rest. Including Marsha Linehan who is the woman who created the leading therapy for BPD patients.

I'm never unsure by my gut feelings, but some folk, are relentless about how we think and feel, not being able to have my own views, talking verbal runs, and no empathy, just me me me. You can't even set boundaries because they are guarding their needs. The ruminating kills my happiness, although I give no supply. 😢

They only search for supply. Only talk about things they look good in or what they can learn. Always turning you into their side kick, their audience, asking for applause 👏 all the time, and controlling you with suggestions and their version of events and literally tell you what you thought.

      if you ruminate you supply.
