I changed from Mini 2 to Air 2 and i am happy with Air 2. As you said, it have everything i need, great size, d cinelike profile, great battery life. Its more than enough who know little bit to grade the footage.

We bought a used Mavic Air 2 a few months ago and it’s become a great back up for my needs! We also had it for such a good deal, pretty much brand new yet it was 480 pound. Whenever I run out of batteries and I need to fly again, I know which drone’s going up lol.

I've bought the Mavic Air 2 for a second time. First time was brand new with the release back in the days. Now I've bought it as good as new, with only 5 charging cycles, 3 batteries included + 1 batterie brand new, ND filters, car charger etc. for only 400 bucks. The only Mini I've had in consideration was the Mini 3 as a Pro-version, but it is nearly double the price and a couple of things less in the package compared to the Mavic Air 2 deal I've made.
The reason for why I came back ? The Air 2 is so stable in the air, even under more challenging conditions. Still small enough for traveling.
All the good flight modes included, great speed for action sports, good photo and video-quality, onboard 8GB of space (it saved me in the past a couple of times).
So I'm happy to have it back in my line up.
This is one of the drones I have and I love it I just wish they still sold the controllers with the built in screens but now you can only buy resell ones which sucks
I would love to have some drone shots in my travels especially going to the islands 📸

MA2 is a hidden gem, if you want a decent drone at a great value.
I agree the MA2 is still a good drone and does a great job. It’s too bad that it’s overshadowed by the newer drones.
It definitely is overshadowed by new drones like the Mini 3 Pro or Mavic 3, but I think for those that want a cheaper option, or already have it... Than the MA2 is great ! 😄
Yeah, I have the MA2 and I love it, but I don't have the newer ones (like the "Mini" series) I'm sure if I did then, I would like them as well, but I don't and I'm perfectly fine with that. Plus the extra weight is good for me as it can endure stronger winds
It's not too bad it's overshadowed, because you can get it dirt cheap. Just picked up a like new MA2 fly more combo for $475 and absolutely love it.

I truly believe it's one of their best offerings so far and now for the money they're a steal. I've had mine well over 2 years it has a ton of miles and flights on it and never had a single glitch. During the height of the chip shortage DJI was having trouble with the newer models even hitting the landing pad. I have never missed a pad landing. I do the 30 foot hover for a few seconds and then send it, it never misses. I'll fly mine until parts availability says it time to retire. Great vid !

I definitely don't feel the need to upgrade from this drone, it's small and good enough, even compared to newer drones.

My Air 2 has about 20 hours TOTAL on it, bought when first released! Had to step away from flying for a couple of years, so it's practically brand new

Completely agree! I’ll bet DJI kind of regrets making this drone so good 😂 because aside from some obstacle avoidance this is an awesome drone!!
For me who is just filming with a mobile phone. This is incredibly good. With a better quality you need a better computer and actually don't even watch content in 4k. So that's maybe even to much for me.
i own one of those since 1 year ago and a half, i was thinkin about sell it but each battery have just 12 cycles charged, the thanks to your comments y prefer keep it and continue enjoy it, sure worth it, greetings from Oaxaca Mexico, many thanks and get the best of lucks

Great video, I have 2 Mavic air 2 I have about 10 flights on each one, fly RC airplanes mostly but love my drones, with ID coming I was going to sell them and get a Mini 3 Pro 249GM not worry about the ID but been doing a lot of research on the Air 2 seems like there the work horse and just keep flying hard to beat there track record so hope we can all keep flying them, my RC field has got there Fria approved so worse scenario I can fly my drones there again great video!
For sure new drones have some benefits (being smaller or having better/more sensors) but air 2 is still more than enough for most users ! 😄 it's a great drone that holds up so nicely

@@SebastianDylag i remember reading about difference a few years back. So if you have a US version Remote ID will be added with the latest firmware. Just do not forget to update your registration to reflect the change.

Glad I could help with Your choice. Unfortunately I have bought it in Poland, and the european models don't have APAS.
One thing you didnt touch on about the Air 2 vs Air 2S is that the Air 2 supports filters. I love my Anamorphic Lens for example.
Unfortunately I've never had or used the Air 2S so couldn't really dive too deep into that comparison 😄

It's definitely a great drone? Even in 2023. I also have the Air 2S, I'm hoping that in May when the next Air drone comes out? That it will be compatible with the Air 2, and Air 2S? If it's not, I will not be buy another drone because these two are the only drones I have that are just as great as the next new drone that comes out?

Thanks for this review. I have had my Mavic Air 2 ever since and just before the Air 2S came out. Still love it very much even though I fly my Mini 3 Pro more these days. I have considered parting with it because of Remote ID becoming mandatory this fall and it will need an attached ID device in order to legally fly it! That sickens me because if DJI can include it in the firmware for the Air 2S, why not the Air 2?? I do not want to "buy" that device! I have already invested so much money and accessories for the Air 2 and I am done with that. Thanks for sharing.

Absolutely still worth it. The average person is very unlikely to harness the full potential of this drone and its features. Even the average content creator is unlikely to use all of its features.

Hello ! 😄 If the price is the same, I think I would go for DJI Mini 3 Pro.
It should be about the same but with some benefits like being smaller, longer flight times, and camera can turn for vertical photos/videos. 😄

It all depends on the budget.
Air 2 can be found for cheaper. Still has a great camera setup with flight characteristics.
Mini 4 Pro has new tech, so will have advantages and also it's under 250 grams, so that's a big plus. It also has true vertical shooting which is nice to have for social media and photos.
I would think about the budget, and the planned usage 😄

I personally see it more as a "mini" Mavic 3,
It's larger and heavier than Air 2.
Since this video I've now been using DJI mini 3 pro for my drone of choice (quality and size is amazing).
Air 3 is great, but like I mentioned, for me it's a mini Mavic 3 🤔

Maybe it doesn't show it for You because it's only working with specific settings (for example You have HDR or something ? ) 😄

Yup, it has active track 3.0!
I don't use it too much as I like to fly almost 100% manually, but have used it a couple of times, and it even has some nice presets (it's called master shots or something like that) 😄
