A word of caution about setting Target Scanning to "On" in settings. Once it's "On," video recording speeds greater than 30 fps are no longer shown as options. I am forgetful and if I set Target Scanning to "On" then in a week I won't remember having done so or that it affects the available video speeds. For that reason I am not going to set Target Scanning to "On."
Seen lot of tutorials but your ones are great and best thing about you is that you present complicated stuff in such a simple way that it becomes super easy to remember them. Great job, keep up the good work!

Great video, you have a new subscriber now. I see a lot of people mentioning that you can recenter the camera by double-tapping the Fn button. But there is more to it: Every time you double-tap the Fn button, the camera will toggle between looking straight forward and straight downward. I also want to elaborate on the phone charging option, which, as others mentioned, is not available on Android phones. I would love to have this option, but not because I want phone charging "On." Rather I would love to be able to turn phone charging "Off." The reason for that: In the hot Florida midday sun, my Galaxy S8 (and an S10 that I tested) both heat up so much that they automatically dim the screen to protect themselves from overheating. Thus, I can barely or not at all see the on-screen controls. The automatic charging of the phone as soon as it is connected to the RC contributes to the phone heating up and is thus undesirable for me. Also, it doesn't help that DJI Fly shows the battery level near the top of the screen in white characters that don't contrast with the light blue sky.
Love your videos! When I go to my DJI Fly app setting under "control" I see Subject Scanning but when I try to turn it on nothing happens. Any ideas why that would be?
i just had my first ever drone flight today with my air 2 , it was nervewrecking but i got comfortable so much faster than i thought i would , your videos are a big credit to that im subbing!
Now after the latest update press and hold on screen and then dragging sideways won't move the gimbal side ways. And also fpv mode doesn't work. If I switch to fpv mode it will be changed in the app but the gimbal will be still in follow mode. These 2 are the issues I have found in latest update.

My parents put it in when I was 4 years old! Every single persons’s court varies a bit here and there depending on customization, size, etc, that you want to go with. Greetings Carson, Hey thank you for all the settings update. I am wondering if you discuss the storage locations for the Mavic Air 2. It appears that if you select internal storage while having an SD card installed, no flight recording is saved to the SD card. Can you confirm that only ONE storage location can be selected for the flight??
Robert, sure thing, from my testing that’s what I’ve seen as well, only being able to record to one storage location. The MA2’s internal storage is more for when you run out of storage on your main card and need someplace to put footage, rather than a backup running in parallel when recording to the external microSD card.

Excellent video, I wasn’t aware of the free gimbal movement tip and can’t wait to try, my only suggestion is that the preprogrammed double tap function is much easier to reset the gimbal than the way you suggested
Very Informative! Question; when I shot the panarama sphere I did not get a sphere, all I got was a picture that displayed a very wide angle shot of the circle. What do I need to do to get the complete 360 sphere?

Love this !! Thanks so much !! How do you get the Sphere Pano off the memory card as the Sphere? I am getting amazing ones thanks to you !! But only way I have figured out to get them off is to do screenshots they come off flat otherwise off the memory card. :(
In previous DJI drones, you have the ability to change the gamble tilt control to very slow so while you flying in our out you could use the gamble tilt wheel to very slowly change the angle so it was barely noticeable. I know you can do it with a finger on the screen but my unless it's stationary or on level flight path, both my hands are being used. I see in Tripos mode it moves a big slower, but I like to crank it almost down to zero so tilts take a few seconds to go from horizon to subject. Have you found a way to slow this control? of maybe it will be in the next firmware update. For real estate ascending fly ins and out I like it real smooth. Robert. Enjoyed the video.
I know this is an old post, but this is an option now - you can change it for each mode that you're in (cine, norm, sport) at least on the pro controller I can.
So very, very good, Sir! DJI provides very little guidance on how to actually use the drone/camera (instead of commercials), so your video is invaluable at least to me. So I sincerely thank you very much!
Was aware of all your 8 points but enjoyed your refresher. You give a good explanation and your camera work, especially on you phone screen, is excellent. Re APAS. You are correct it will go up and over. One problem is that as there is no top sensor, it can collide going up to avoid the roof if there is say a secondary overhang, or if you are in the woods into branches. In the woods it has a tendency to go up to avoid, which is unfortunate as in many cases it can go down to avoid branches as it has a bottom sensor. If your APAS is not on and you are heading to your house you said it would collide rather than going up and over. Not quite so. Avoidance will not take it up and over but it will freeze the location till you take control and fly around manually. Thanks.
Thanks. I was wondering if it was accurate that with APAS off it would fly into a building even though the sensor is beeping and knows it is there. My understanding is with APAS off the drone will simply stop and with APAS on it will try to find a way through.
I subscribed to your channel once I got my Mavick Air 2. Very helpful. Your menus on your DJI app look different than mine, and they are reversed. I don't have APAS but I have Avoid, Brake or Off completely in the same menu. 1 question, in the quickshots, I get random music and a DJI logo in the end of the quick shot, like closing credits. Anyway to get rid of those features?

That's because this video is old and about a couple months ago when the Fly App was updated (Ver 1.2.2) they replaced it with the Attitude indicator in the bottom left hand corner instead.
is there a hidden setting that I can press the "Home" button and the drone returns to the controller, wherever the controller is. Not interested in putting my reading glasses on and scrolling through menus to "u[pdate the home point". thanks

At about 2:30. I don't have a "target scanning" toggle under 'settings', 'control'. It's just not there. Ah, maybe I need to be in flight for the toggle to show up.

You can also make the gimbal look above 0° by an option in settings. This is useful for shots where you're low down and want to look up at something

Phone charging selection is available for iPhones only, its automatically on for android phones or tablets
I thought that was a fix for android phone in this model, no?
It wasn't for me. But as soon as i turned it on it disappeared and i can't turn it off anymore.
It’s automatic for iPhones too mine has always been on.
Yeah, i was thinking the same. I use a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 with mine and i don't have the option to turn off charging. :)
I’m suing iPhone 6s Plus and the charging is not on by default.

From what I can tell you can't. You have to use a third party program to curve the photo back into a 360 degree sphere which I don't have.

Yeah, sadly that feature isn’t available in the app right now. I’m hoping to see it added in a future update release soon!

Could be that, it also is a part of the newest firmware update, so I would make sure you're updated on the drone itself and the DJI Fly app as well!
