I know im randomly asking but does any of you know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account?? I somehow forgot my login password. I appreciate any tricks you can give me
Can't understand why this video doesn't have more likes - this is positively the most comprehensive and easy to digest video for drone newbies I have seen yet. Thanks Connor!
I can answer that from me, I dont like having my like videos cluttered because the saved s videos option doesn't feel good to me at all and I'm like 7 years into saving videos id have to switch over
Is an exception when a UA-cam says things that make sense also for a professional and don't give wrong or misleading dangerous information. Congratulations for the quality of your contents, bravo.
The best thing is that as of 2023, the Mavic Air 2/S now works with the RM 500 Smart Controller, which really ups the game! I love my Mini 2 and Air 2.
I have watched sooooo many video's and this is by Far the best one! Thank you for making it easy, I'm new to drones and am a slow learner because I'm so nervous to break it.
I didn't have to charge the batteries one by one the first time. They charged in the 3 dock charger not all at once but sequentially. It is the best drone I've ever flown
@@ConnorRickey I bought a charging dock for my DJI Spark that can charge 4 batteries and a rechargeable controller at the same time. Bought one from the same company for the Mavic Air 2. Much better than the charger that comes with it. At 35 bucks it's a heck of a buy
regarding calibration, when I first got my drone I'd do the twist and rotate routine, but soon realized the drone would orientate itself, it sets the new Return to home by itself.
The quality of this video is on par with the biggest channels on UA-cam, very clear and straightforward, learned a lot in this video. Great job with the video and you earned a sub 👏🏽.
Yep, I agree. I'm about ready to pull the trigger on the Mavic and I also am in agreement with others. I appreciate your to the point video. The most helpful that I've seen so far. Thanks!!
so well done! I appreciate the fact that you present your information slowly enough for most of us to keep up with you and understand what you're doing. All in all, great video!
I'm a first-time I'm a first-time flyer I literally just took my drone out I just took my phone out the box after watching your still haven't gone any distance but what I've learned has built up my confidence
Connor, Awesome man, Just purchased the Air 2 and been watching lots of videos to get up to speed before the maiden flight and yours had been the best. Great work, Big Thank You
THANKS RICKEY!! I am an enthusiastic drone pilot who just acquired a Mavic Air 2 as my second in my collection (the first was a phantom 4), your video helps me a lot, I am a photographer and I already fell in love with this drone. GREETINGS FROM LOS CABOS...
I just got this drone. I just got things hooked up. Gonna fly tomorrow and see how the video looks. My battery's charged on the 3 stand. I got the combo
Thank you. As someone whose used a DSLR for still photography for years but hasn't done much with video since the time of mini-DV tapes and Firewire 400, this was a huge help. Loving my new Air 2S - I've wanted a drone for YEARS and was considering the Mavic Pro 2, but the Air 2S checks most of my boxes. These things have come a long ways since when they first started being a thing!
Seriously, MANY THANKS for doing this man, my AIR 2 arrives Tommorrow and this has by far been the best guide I've watched, thanks for taking the time to do it
Very good and comprehensive video. One little thing, though: there is no need to first-time charge the batteries on the single charge cable. The multi charger works fine. The batteries will be charged consecutively, one after the other until fully charged, never at the same time. That appears to be the same with any DJI battery in any device. I have a DJI Spark where the same happens - one battery gets charged until full then it rotates to the next.
Excellent video! Hits on all the basics and explains so much of what this rig is capable of. Even dives into some of the camera settings which most videos do not. Thank you!
New subscriber here...great video! As someone who is about to buy a Mavic Air 2, your video was so helpful. Even things like charging the batteries individually...haven't seen that on any other video! The color grading tutorial was super easy to understand as well! Hopefully this will take my videos to the next level! Thanks bud!
Am new here. About to purchase my first drone and what you thought me is very interested. Appreciate the time and effort you took to go through it. You should be a teacher.
Very good video. Can u make a color grading in Davinci Resolve, too? That will be great! Until now I use the normal mode at the Mavic Air 2, but I will change to D-Cinelike.
Rickey, in the compass calibration, DJI says you have to keep the drone vertical and then rotate it 360 degrees in the longitudinal axis. I can really see that you rotate the drone on the side and then rotate the drone 360 degrees. It is not prescribed that way!
Fantastic video! I love your channel. The video was super straight forward and helpful especially for someone like me that has used a drone before so is *obviously* not gonna read the setup guide, but still should learn from others' experiences. Subscribed!
Great presentation 👍 however only part I’m unsure about is turning phone airplane mode on. What happens if a emergency happens away from you, and you can’t be reached ?
You’ve greatly improved my quality of videos I’m goin to start filming more now as I feel more comfortable doing so ! I sure do appreciate it bro! Keep up the good work
I’m glad you enjoyed the video and I appreciate that! Think I’m just early in the process, I haven’t posted too many videos yet. Work in progress, have more coming every week 😁
I have my gimbal setting for tripod mode set very slow (can’t remember the exact number, away from my drone for the next few days). That’s because when I’m in that mode I’m usually shooting for those slow, cinematic movements. Then normal and sport mode I leave as it comes from DJI since if I’m flying the drone faster, I’m usually doing quicker gimbal pans for a more dramatic shot.
I got the Air 2 to play with and learn until the Mavic 3 arrives in early spring. I hear both good and bad about it, but we will have to wait until it arrives on the shelves to know for sure what it is... I want a better camera and 360-degree sensors so I can fly with less strain on the nerves...
Hey there, Connor. First of all, awesome content and amazing quality of the videos. I wanna know something though, I just bought mavic air 2 and this is my absolutely first drone ever. I probably won't shoot any video footage, but mostly pictures. Can you tell me your pro opinion, is the mavic 2 air worth for pictures, not only videos?
You should have taken a photo with auto settings in addition to manual. I think that all the tweaking you did in post editing (warmth, saturation, balance) achieved :similar results to that of auto. It would be useful to compare both.
Your video was very well done. I don't have an MA2, but seeing all that it can do and your editing techniques...I can do this. Now I just need about $800.
Awesome video and tons of information! Just wondering is D-Cinelike image just a flatter footage or does it store more information like RAW format for images? I sometimes edit and correct images on my phone and iPad so was wondering if keeping it normal would be the best way forward. Thanks in advance 🙏
You nailed it !!! I agree with you 100% .Thank you for your video...If you can edit it with Da Vinci resolve software it would be awesome! I am thinking to buy the Air2 Combo with the Smart controller , so I could use it with my Mavic 2 pro as well.
