    • @KM-iv9xy
      @KM-iv9xy Рік тому +7

      In a way, his weak chin may have saved him from CTE. It's well known that repeated smaller head traumas will do more damage than a handful of hard ones over time. It's why boxers and football players get it worse than MMA fighters. The protective equipment they use keeps them in the game/fight longer, taking much more damage cumulatively. An MMA heavyweight gets hit flush once by another heavyweight and he's done for 6 months, taking no further damage. Even soccer players get small amounts of brain damage from repeatedly bouncing a ball full of air off of their heads

    Overeem has been known to have a "weak chin", and I think that is exactly the reason why he's still sharp with not too much brain damage. He rarely was in "wars". Either he dominated his opponents and demolished them without taking any significant damage, or he got caught by ONE punch and went to sleep. It's guys with "iron chins" who don't get KOed no matter how often they get hit that end up with severe brain damage and slurred speech, because they receive so many more damaging shots to the head. Not getting KOed doesn't mean you don't get brain damage.

I spoke to a sport scientist the other day about this in regards to sport and he said that you can get your protein from a non meat diet that fulfils your needs. I also look a lot younger than I am. It wasn't because he was sick because he was coming off the gear. Now could he be sick with something. Possibly but the other day when people see these fighters or these people in WWF. And when they retire they shrink well it's because they get off the sauce. Nobody is typically 200 lb lean when they're natural. When I was 255 to 60 I had abs and I was honest with everybody. Even to this day 43 years old that 210 lb with abs yeah I'm on trt.a little bit over the dosage. Only 200 mg week. The big scheme of things that's nothing. And I had the muscle mass so that's why I hold muscle mass. But I can't hold as much as I had. That's impossible. So this is just how it works.this is why when natural people get for men especially. They are in shape and whatnot in that 40-years old you see them typically starting to get a belly fat and their limbs appear to besmaller. It's because the testosterone and the androgen receptors binding affinities all the biological stuff that I won't get into. But if you know you know what I'm talkin about. So with your testosterone levels lower you can't hold on to as much muscle mass that you had so yes you will atrophy.

    Alkaline diets don't prevent cancer, this thought is premised on the idea that tumors have an acidic microenvironment-but that is because of the poor oxygen supply leads to greater production of lactate. There are however a lot of alkaline foods that are very nutrient dense and high in phytonutrients, which may help prevent cancer.
