Yea it's weird, I don't follow Dan Bilzerian but i gave this a listen on Spotify and thought he gave some good advice and had some interesting points. Then i checked this UA-cam video and see 4.8k likes, 2.2k dislikes and tons of hate comments. People need to learn to understand that nobody is perfect and just because you don't like someone it doesn't mean you can't learn something from them.

If you can’t get some kind of perspective from this interview, you’re dense. You don’t have to like or agree with him, but he’s got a lot to say, it’s your job to choose what to take from it. There’s some good bits of wisdom to take from a guy who’s telling you that hedonism and money are ultimately unfulfilling.

Dan Bilzerian's journey is like a real-life social experiment on hedonism and wealth. It's fascinating to see someone push the boundaries of modern indulgence and then reflect on what truly matters after living the ultimate 'dream' life. Whether you agree with his lifestyle or not, there's a lot to learn from his experiences-especially how he navigates the highs and lows. This video dives deep into the reality behind the Instagram persona, and it's intriguing to see the man behind the myth. 🔥

Sounds like a guy searching for something. The words that come to mind: Purpose and Fulfillment. He chose a life of purposelessness and now is looking back on it trying to figure out how to make something of it and turn himself around. Picking up women is probably the only skill he could see as valuable from his hedonism experiences.
Fwiw, I think his advice there is actually really good. What he struggles with is figuring out how to apply what he learned to people who aren’t worth millions. When Chris pressed him on the social proof/lifestyle setup, he didn’t have an answer on how any regular guys could do it. So really his book is most useful for very rich guys who want to make dating easy.

This guy is on a journey.
During the 80's and 90's, whilst being nothing like this guy's success, I made great money, 3 houses...London, Worcestershire, France. I had the cars, suits, I lifted weights.
Women were just easy, I didn't have to chase, they just came to me.
I was at my best...but beginning in the late 90's to think that there's more than this.
I stay healthy but I gave up my career, I've sold up in the UK and moved to France.
I have female friends but no "relationship ". When you live the life, face it, the women are hoes, they want the lifestyle. I've seen guys who's wife just left when they lost there job or the business hit the rocks.
Now I live a country life...friends, country sports, nice restaurants, studying, travelling. I'm even dipping a toe into Christianity.
    It's peaceful.

As a female, if a guy is too full on, it’s just scary. Simple. Just be respectful and not a stalker chasing weirdo.
At the end he said women stayed home and men were the bread winners “it worked for thousands of years”. Well, we women no longer want to depend on a man for everything…that’s why it doesn’t work Dan! We want the ability to look after ourselves and our children if the man wants to be a cheat, a wife beater, or any number of other things. There are many reasons society is at this point. But those are just a couple.

To focus on Chris for a moment,-
It can’t be easy to reel in top shelf guests every show. Chris realized that he wasn’t the greatest guest right off the bat, but still remained professional. He concluded the interview by showing him common courtesy and respect.
Chris’ willingness to step outside his comfort zone and interview people he may not be aligned with philosophically, only widens his personal understanding and knowledge. Interviewing someone who is 100% aligned with his own beliefs would be easy for him. I, for one, praise his diversity of guests. It only deepens his skillset and repertoire.
