Awesome Video, So glad you captured the process of this. I'm planning on putting the arrow exhaust with the Rexxer map on my Desert sled in the next few months
Great videos. Purchased a 2019 DS and big part of that decision was because your videos. I believe you removed the cat when you installed the Arrow. It’s in the big box with the two tips. So even though your mid pipe is stock, your are running decatted so it’s good to let rexxer know if a revision is needed. Keep up with the great content and quality.
Thanks for the comment, I'll definitely look into it! Hope you're enjoying the DS, I can't get enough of mine haha. Glad you're enjoying the content, still have many more videos coming out here soon that I've been working on!
I just decatted my Monster 937 and will be opening up air box and adding high flow filter as well. I’ll be mailing my ECU to Rexxer for tune and return. I was confused by the O2 Sensor disable option. When is it appropriate to disable vs leave it enabled. Thanks!
I sincerely appreciate you doing this, as I’ve been wanting to do the same thing on my Desert Sled. It looks complicated though. But with your tutorial, I might be able to do it. It just seems to be a PITA. I’d rather just have a plug n play unit. But I understand everyone speaks highly of this upgrade. I have the 2020 model its still under warrantee and I’m concerned about voiding the warrantee if I have some other non related issue and then the dealer sees the re-tune, then denies my warrantee claim. So if I was to have some other issue that needed dealer support, can I re-install the stock map?
It was a bit of a pain that's for sure. I know that there are a few dealers can do the exhaust and map upgrade for you that are associated with Rexxer but I'm not sure what that entails with the warranty as I never had one. Wish I could be more help on that. But yes I am pretty sure you can put the stock exhaust map and stock exhaust back on with no issue if you decide to upgrade the exhaust. Hope that helps!
Sweet video! I've been tempted to do this to my 2020 Monster 797 (same exact engine) but figured it was too complicated and/or too sketchy to mess with. After wathing your video I immediately went and popped my ECU out and am sending it out tomorow, already in the box haha. Really curious to see how it performs, but really I just want to make sure it isn't running super lean with the K&N air filter and the de-cat slip on. Thanks for inspiring me and looking forward to your follow up video on this!
I'm glad I was able to inspire you! I think you did it the right way with sending the ECU in, I kind of regret that. Either way you're going to notice a huge difference once you get the new map on. Hope you enjoy the mod!
It looks like you O2 Sensors just slipped right off when you pushed them with your thumb. Mine appear to be stuck. Is there a clip holding them in place or did you remove them once prior to shooting the video.
Hello, I am from Korea. owner of Ducati scrambler classic 2015. Is it worth tuning rexxer ecu?? I'm really curious... No one tunes ecu in Korea!!! The 2015 scrambler throttle is very sensitive and too torquey. So I wonder if Lexer tuning solves the problem.
I'll say that it doesn't do much for throttle response and honestly probably makes it more torquey than the stock exhaust. So I would say don't do it if you're looking to solve that problem!
Got the Rexxer and follow your tutorial, great tutorial man. Upload new Map but is still doing the annoying low lean idle when you're on traffic. Higher rpms is good but the reason I spent the money was to get rid of that leaning at low rpm and when you're stock on traffic cause is annoying when you take off. Also it feels hotter than before. My set up is just SC project slip on, no baffle and o2 disable that's it. Booster plug out, o2 sensors out, no vacuum leaks and got rid of the canister but David insisted that it doesn't have to do with his tune. So I guess, I'm screwed cause each map cost $100 , not throwing more money out. Any suggestions?
Update; All problems solved! Issue was the spark plugs, they were the same from factory and due to incorrect Gap from factory they start fouling.. Just spent $20 and no need to Gapped, they come with the new correct gap (0.6mm). 5 months later since Rexxer unit and no issues, so I recommend to use new spark plugs after installing the unit.
Yea I had multiple of issues with the Rexxer. I remember having to try two separate laptops to get it to work. Pretty sure it won't work on any Mac products, just PC
Hi Zach, after two months of running modified ECU, how do you evalute the upgrade? Worth the effort? Is the improvement significant? Regards from Europe, Pavel
Upgrade was definitely worth the investment. Bike has much better torque on the low end and sounds much better. If I would do it differently I would even have tuned the bike for without the silencer. Sounds much better!
love the cinematics in your vid man! i have a 2021 ducati diavel 1260 s and bought an Arrow pro race system from Revzilla. I bought the Rexxer Evo user system. they are pretty helpful and the system is pretty easy to use. I haven't received my exhaust yet because of COVID and all the back orders but have received the Rexxer hand held Evo and already have the tune sent back to me from them for when the Exhaust makes it to me. 1 question, how do you open the file on a laptop to see what it is you are getting?? i click on it and it says i don't have a program to open this USR file.. weird.. but any who love the Vid and thought id say what up since we have a similar situation. how did the tune end up working for your bike? any weird things pop up?
Done this on my panigale with different but popular tune product, more power and all for a few weeks, then starting to give me problems and headache, throttle turned off while riding etc, what a disaster. Ducati is not the same with japanese bike, do not change the tune using third party shit, using termig with its original ecu upmap is a different story.
Good to know! Thanks for the comment, I'll be sure to keep an eye on it. It hasn't given me any trouble yet but its only been two months with the new ECU map.

Good luck! I've really enjoyed my Desert Sled. The exhaust and map modifications are a huge upgrade as well, definitely recommend it!

@@CatchHellMoto why do you say you regret not mailing it in? The Desert Sled looks badass... by the way.

Hell yea! Great recommendation! Thanks for following up!
Did the Rexxer make it run better less lean?
Much better! Not as lean anymore.
Will the rexxer and software only work with PC?
Yea I had multiple of issues with the Rexxer. I remember having to try two separate laptops to get it to work. Pretty sure it won't work on any Mac products, just PC
Hey great video. I am originally from Charlotte but live in Bangkok now. Send me a recording of those bugs I miss them.🤣
Just got a new seat from Mugello out of Thailand! Glad you liked the video!
O - 200 in 17/18 sec on standard, how many sec after remap & other mod?
Woah 0-200.. not sure if I can legally find that out! Haha
👏👏👍👍great info, thx!
Thanks for the comment! Glad you enjoy

So how happy Are you with your News Rexxer custom tune? Because I am planing to do the same thing to my BMW R9T very soon.
Incredibly happy, honest the best mod I've done to the bike

Tune up worked great, I've had no problems since the install. Hope you're able to figure it out!
After remapping your ECU,
when you go to put the bike in off-road mode does it throw codes or engine lights?
No codes nor engine lights!
Did you notice any difference in performance?
Definitely more torque-y in the lower gears
Very helpful Video! Thanx!!
You're welcome!
