Hey thank you, that’s a big compliment! I’m just trying to make real content that actually helps people with their projects (or that are fun for me) and not pander to the algorithms. Any feedback or advice for this novice video maker would be greatly appreciated.
You are welcome! I know I am not the only one who has had this problem, so I wanted to make the job seem more in reach for the average driveway mechanic.
Great video. Will be doing this mod this weekend. Once question - once you removed the old switch, did you fashion some sort of stop for the brake lever?
Yes I did, and I even included it in the video! If you watch from the beginning of minute 8 of the video, I show the new “stop” I fashioned. Pretty simple, no fancy fabrication needed.
Yes it was, but it was my own fault. There are two mounting bolts that hold it to the frame and I only put one of the bolts back when I installed the skid plate. I found the 2nd bolt in my garage and was able to tighten it back in place. I have to remove the footpegs to get my Allen wrench into place for the 2nd bolt.
I didnt even notice this was a smaller channel, though it had 100k subs. Keep up the good work

Maddively appreciate the effort and the thorough explanation here. Super helpful and saved me just replacing the OEM switch through ignorance.
Very good upgrade and video. I’m sure it will come in handy at some point on my Sled.
Nice detailed video. Thanks for the time and effort on sharing

Thanks a lot for this one!
Great Video. Thanks for the effort. Couleur you provide a link to the hydraulisch switch you used?
Had this happen to me too. TNX for the solution

yeah not sure why I missed that - probably skipping around a bunch. Really great video. Thank you again!
Whats the bolt size thread pitch for the new hydraulic switch?
Why can I not find the right one so far ordered 2 new ones that didn't fit
I’m really sorry to hear the parts you ordered haven’t fit. What year is your bike?
I ended up using a KTM pressure switch. It was for all models.
was that footpeg loose like it was moving around a bit? if so, how did you tighten it?
