On someone else's video they said about 30% of women have deep set eyes and I kinda believe that! I always thought I had "hooded eyes" because that's all everyone talks about as a "problematic" eye shape! But noooo! They haven't met us with the "deep set eyes"! Thank goodness I found you because as I look at your eye shape I'm like "yes that's me! finally someone like me!"!
As you know I have deep set eyes. Like you I just like to eye line and mascara only. The best nude eyeshadow I use us bobbi brown in bone. It just cleans the eye up. So glad I found you ❤ 💕

Hi Danielle, Your eyeshadow is so well done, that it could nearly pass as "no makeup makeup" on your eyes, my favorite vibe, so to speak. It's beautiful.🌹 I don't have eyeshadow palettes, but have a few singles, mostly in the colors which you used today in this video, mostly neutral, or very similar to the above video. I feel like with practice I might be able to achieve this look but *"Can I make it stay?"* Honestly I don't know, bc I feel like primer is very individual, & it varies in so many ways, i.e. which brand/ should you use tinted/ if it's good to use concealer instead/ etc etc. (Also some ppl use a regular powder base as a primer, which works well with the non-creamy shadows) I watched a video in which a girl performed thid test -->-she used her foundation on one eye as the primer, & on the other eye a standard creamy primer which went on easily & dried to a light tint. Results were --> the colors & shades of the eyeshadow were pretty vivid on the primer side, and barely noticeable on the eye on which she used Foundation as a primer!! Made me wonder if all the people who use concealer are getting the results they want from their eyeshadow when they use it on eyes as primer...(Concealer being a marketing ploy, akin to foundation, but perhaps lighter in consistency, & other differences) OK, sorry this is so long! My question is:: Please can you tell me which primer you used today, or concealer, or eyeshadow base? Doesn't matter what, I just want your results, bc it worked beautifully. Also, did you use setting spray or finishing powder over your eyeshadow for hold? Any tips pertaining to hold and longevity in these lightest shades are appreciated. (I did look in the information box first rather than bother you with a new question but I didn't see a primer listed) Thank you very much🤗🌴🌹
Lol, the last time I tried an eyeshadow primer was the Urban decay, but I think that it was too drying. I think it's all personal preference, I see some makeup artist just use concealer and other swear by a primer, I could see for vivid colors a primer being the best. I do want to try one and see if there is a difference though. In this video I used the Nars concealer in creme brulee and then set it before eyeshadow with the hourglass veil setting powder 😉😉 hope that helps, thank you so much for watching 💗💗💗

I have a question... shall we avoid darker shade for our eyelids? Why I am asking this because we don't always wear nude shades . Sometimes we want to play with darker / bright colours as well

With my deep set eyes, I put the darker color or brighter color on the outer corner and blend a little in towards the center,but I always put on a nice Matt or light shimmer in champagne on the lid. If you are interested Makeup Artist Robert Jones has a video on. UA-cam showing him doing a model with deep set eyes very helpful.

And I used setting spray before hand. I like Catrice or Charlotte Tillbury, the caudalie beauty elixir is lovely as well
