Southern Finland (Oulu downwards) is the most boring scenery ever to drive through, 100% fields + forest. So dont worry about being short on time, you can safely blast through all of it in one day. As a Finn im permitted to admit that Norway is much nicer, spend your time there😁
As a Norwegian I would advise you to get the drone up among the trees in Finland, and you will discover why we call it the land with the thousend lakes. You often can’t see it from the road, but right beside it you will find beautiful hidden lakes
As a Northern Finn driving from Oulu along the Swedish side to Stockholm is tedious, and agree that the "views" are not that great driving south in Finland.
Hi there. Did you used the 82 up to Andenes ? I guess yes, so next time you are there you will take the road on the other side which is much more scenic and also mentioned in the proposals of the touristveggen I mentioned once before. As you may know the ferry its not build as a ferry, it was a former russian fishing trawler. Yes, the ocean between Andenes and Gryllefjord is well known as rough and lots get seasick. So you are not an exception. Dont miss the golden toilett on your way. Senja and from Bothamn with a ferry to Brensholmen, with a short sidestep to Sommeroya before you heading towards Tromsö with the Artic Cathedreal. May be you have time to take the gondla up the mountain for a breathtaking view at day and nightime. I would head further to to Olderdalen using the 91 and tw ferrys, just to drive a bit further north to Rotsund to have view to the Lyngen Alps. Turn around here and drive south again to catch the 81 in Skibotn which leads into Finnland. Anyway, you have missed even past so many things that you have to come back again. I am so sorry for you, but you are still young and can do once again with no time pressure. Enjoy the evening and coming days.
I have to say I love your videos, guys! Informative, fun, genuine. I have no idea how you are able to travel AND post so much at the same time, but whatever is your secret, keep it up!
Awesome videos! Gutted we never explored Norway & Finland. You guys are similar to us 20-30yrs ago. Thx for taking us along for the ride as now sadly our adventures are prematurely over; Due to my partners seriously ill health after taking a ‘safe & effective’ medical procedure to protect him from a topical novel ailment. Never stop exploring, go hard or go home 😃
Yea it seem like she have a good time and love it here even the stiff prices on all, i get in good mood when i se she is have it great and smile all over her face haha :=)
When you said that you had to rush to Estonia in too few days hence, my heart sunk. Oh! No! That would be the last thing to do in such stunning scenary. Can it really be so? Perhaps you can motor all the way back (to Norway) and take up where you too hastily left off!?
Great to see you, flip it just looks so fast moving there so much going on. Have a great time & great to share the experience with you both.....Rosemary in Belfast..xxx
Not sure why you guys didn't spend more time in Andøya, it's a very nice island and maybe the drive in didn't impress you from all the flat areas, but if you would drive around the island, you would be surprised - also has alot of interesting stuff there, whale museum, Andøya Space Center, Bleiksøya (Would have to go with a boat to see that unique birdlife, but worth it), one of the biggest lighthouses in Norway with a sweet view - worth to climb up , and Andenes is a very cosy little town worth a visit. Also, beaches .
We speak about this in the video. We didn’t realise until we reached senja, and we’re very disappointed we missed the tourist route. We will have to come back one day
Thanks so much for all you do to show us the wonderful scenery on your trips. Watched you in Ireland which was super & now in Norway at mo - whow its really fantastic - well done both of you - you are putting yourself in stress with your time frame but do continue enjoy taking those swims & hikes, its a privilidge to able to share your journeys. Take care & hope you get to the wedding on time - God bless you both.
First...lol 4am sat NZ time on the dot without fail...lol hope all is well guys cool vid kinda miss skyscrapers and concrete jungles all iv seen is mountains ..lol just joking and iz what you mean aussie out loud stop swearing...lol mch lov guys❤️💯🥰
I so love your videos. You guys really are a breath of fresh air, keep it up ! I can't get over how spectacular the scenery is, it seems endless. It reminds me of Bruges in Belgium. What I mean is.... that everywhere you look in Bruges the houses are so cool, everywhere in Norway just seems to be breath-takingly beautiful. The home of the Vikings, why would they have wanted to leave !
Love the personality of isabel. So cute. She always manage to put a smile on my face. I imagine Thomas never had a moment of boredom. Her smile touches me, like a morning dew on lush vegetation. All the mountains and the rivers and the valleys can't compare to your blue lit eyes, and yellow shining hair.
Enjoying your vlogs. Can’t help thinking you maybe should have gone the opposite way round. Done the wedding and then take nearly three months to do the return leg. Keep at it
Have you already a route planned crossing Finland! You can drive from Kilpisjärvi to Helsinki in about 13-14 hours without stops. I suggest though checking Saana tunturi (fjell) and maybe Ylläs too (fjell). As you cross. If you have time, come down east route maybe through Rovaniemi. Puumala and Punkaharju routes are perhaps the best that Finland has to offer. Maybe Koli too. So excited to see you crossing Finland, welcome! =D I will keep eye on spotting "La Bamba" live on the road.
The roads are much better in Finland, you can probably go a mile without turning the wheel some places. They're literally built for long drives in a rush, so I think you've planned this to perfection. Love the vlog :D
I just love your channel, the sights , the scenery, down to earth personalities. But I think Ireland is jealous they did not get the black bikini in their waters.
Been watching your videos from the start and love the vibe of them/ informative nature of them. Shame you're going down the clickbait route with the thumbnails recently. I understand it's the way UA-cam is but not sure it's right for the longevity of the channel!
@ No one eliminates. But the route they drive will be boring. Very nice to see in both Sweden and Finland - but as in the part that lies towards the Swedish border in Norway - very boring.
This channel keeps popping in on my feed, what I can surmise from the latest few videos is that you rely on risque thumbnails as a desperate plea to get viewers. It's so obvious and it makes me less inclined to check out the content unfortunately.
We have decided against nordkapp, partly time constraints but also I spoke to a couple people who were a bit underwhelmed, I would be interested to hear your experience. We were still a bit early for trolltunga, hope you have lots of fun! Vary jealous
@@LostInTransit Thanks for you response. You Guys are craming it. Yes agreed on Nordkapp would prefer time in Lofoten we will make Tromso our last stop. We did Kjeragbolten and both got on the rock then Prekeistolen yesterday so excited about Ttunga.
You certainly know how to pick your thumbnails 😄
The real Iz! you know we love you ❣
Another fab film. The highlight of my day (sad I know lol).

As a south african who has driven through northern finland, i have to be polite, but never have i ever been happier to cross over to Skibotn!
As a Norwegian I would advise you to get the drone up among the trees in Finland, and you will discover why we call it the land with the thousend lakes. You often can’t see it from the road, but right beside it you will find beautiful hidden lakes

I saw the witchburning monument on the sign there. Ive been there a couple of times. Not far from where i live
Unexpectedly and unintentionally become compulsive viewing each day.
love these daily videos - making me want to go to head off from northern ireland to Norway now
I think you are parked at valberg in lofoten and drove past you at 09:30 yesterday. Funny thing is i found your channel a week ago
I’m glad you got to visit Senja before you left Norway!
Iz is a true star in the making 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Nothing worse than sea sickness. Another great vid guys. Stay safe out there.
Sea sickness is the worst! Got it once when I tried scuba diving - was NOT fun! 😭
Tom and Isabel what a great journey. It's nice to watch your video's

I'm from Batam island Indonesia really like your video.
What an awesome place, would love to visit there one day.
Took that ferry last year. It rolled like crazy with heavy swells from the northeast.
What a place ❤️🙏 Safe travels Guys
Going to estonia in eleven days is no problem what so ever. Its nothing like norway. Not much to see.
So calming watching the scenery on the way... happy journey!
very nice videos. I live in Norway, and plan on a roadtrip also. Take care! hope u liked our country ;)
I love watching your adventures and especially the wee funny bit you put at the end of your videos always makes me laugh 😂
You can take the car train from Kolari or Rovaniemi. It goes overnight to Helsinki.
What?!? I have never heard of this! I will research it now, unfortunately a bit late now

I know what is wrong with Izzy. With all this swimming her legs are changing into a tail and flipper! 😃
So you are heading towards Tromsø, then continue on E8 towards Skibotn, and then into Finland?
The ferry ride looked smooth, last time i took it i was sick for hours

Can't believe you drove straight through Andøya on your way to Senja, you literally missed the most unique place in Norway. Maybe on the way back?
I know I’m actually gutted 😞
Trust me if you are really sea sick, you couldn't care if the boat sank.
Wow , what a life 😁xx
Hi, how are you? V beautiful video n this country v beautiful.from Pakistan 🇵🇰🌹

You really missed the whale safari going out from Agdenes. Highly recommended. But Senja is a good choice any day.
Doh, I feel not giving more time to andsoya is our biggest mistake of the trip 🐳 seeing whales is high on both of our bucket lists as well. Gutted
I just love your channel, the sights , the scenery, down to earth personalities. But I think Ireland is jealous they did not get the black bikini in their waters.
Do you not need a permit or proof for your drone abroad? Great shots. Oh yeah don`t loose him again !
You have to pass an online test, have 3rd party insurance and register with a European agency, it’s a bit of a pain. Glad you’re enjoying the shots
"Sea Legs". Great travel sickness tablets. Work all the time. Sea sickness is the worst
Are there midgies, like in Scotland?
You need to go to Senja, Finland is just flat forest come on now

Is there a ferry from Norway to Estonia that you could use ?
😂😂😂😂😂Issy so funny
Only 10 seconds from Vesterålen? :(
It's not pronounced Loften , it is pronounced like Lo foten
It is not Norwegian bread you have but Swedish
I thought Harry Potter went on to be a aura 🤓
Need to keep up appearance to keep the muggles guessing
🚐💨🇳🇴❤
I think you will be very disappointed with Sweden and Finland on the way to Estonia. There is absolutely nothing to see and incredibly boring
Geee, thanks! Even I as a Swede can agree that Norway is very beautiful but I wouldn't skip two entire countries just like that ;)
@ No one eliminates. But the route they drive will be boring. Very nice to see in both Sweden and Finland - but as in the part that lies towards the Swedish border in Norway - very boring.
How come so many Izzy in bikini thumbnails? How about a few with Tom in a bikini?
Oh yeah that'll work fab....
I watch every day to see the beautiful lady in the bikini , does that make me a viejo verde?
What’s up with lately most of the thumbnails being of Iz in a bathing suit? Does it generate more hits with your target audience? 🤔
Is this a problem for you Jay ?
