After thousands of hours on my D1, rolling away all the time, I thought of molding mine, too. My idea is a bit different, but never thought of adding a magnet. Good idea!
My equinox has speaker issues and I have modified it for better waterproofing. I had a makro multi kruzer flood on me but I saved it. I guess nothing is perfect but we can make it our own for sure. The manufacturer can definitely learn from us and take our criticism positively.
I usually hunt two hours sometimes 3 before I have to quit. Multiple back surgeries so I'd never make it 12 hrs these days. But I've had to mod a few machines. If it works for you that's what's best I always say. Hope your doing great Jeremy....Jeremi
Please do you know where I can find some info on putting a legend lower shaft on the deus and also do you know if it's possible to make the legend middle shaft to fit the deus. I don't know anyone who has a legend to make a comparison.
Nice job there! With a view to further lightening the Deus do you know if the Legend's middle shaft will fit in place of the middle shaft on the Deus please? Fitting/adapting both the Legend's carbon fiber middle and lower shafts are what I have in mind. I don't know anyone who has a Legend in order to be able to compare them for myself.
The Dues shaft is specific size for the XP handle. The carbon fiber Legend shaft has different slots for the lever lock that will not fit the XP lever lock parts. I think the aluminum shaft on the Deus is perfect design. Carbon fiber is too sticky when extending the shafts. Aluminum slides much more freely.
@@PaystreakSuperfreak Thank you for the info, you may well be right about the aluminum but for me I never move the middle shaft on my Deus. I just wondered if you might be able to tell me if the size and profile of the Deus and Legend middle shafts is the same (or close!) please.
The middle shafts are different sizes and not compatible with each other. Modding can only go so far until it starts effecting the structural integrity of the other parts.
@@PaystreakSuperfreak Thank you for the answer. Yes modding is only for improvement, stuck out in the middle of a huge field with a broken custom shaft is not cool! 😊
That rest should be lower where the rest is( simple mod).I had to mod my stock nox shaft which is 3 different lengths??? to fit my backpack. With all the high tech r&d put into these machines they pay no attention to the shafts which is a simple thing, like their is some communication problem? Love the vids from ireland!
Ahhhhhm. You could have bolted two rubber engine idolaters on the bottom and BOOM DONE. That’s ok I just got a 400 dollar Bowie knife that I took sandpaper to the handle and cut some of the guard off.
i guess XP did something right , as we can see it even stands up against cavemen trowing the machine around . i`d be fuming if someone treated my Deus like that
I take care of my Deus 2. Always cleaning it. But it’s a detector. I toss it throw it a little when in my way. Then it rolls back to me and I throw it further. If xp made 💩 right, we wouldn’t be having this discussion‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
I think these companies should send you all their new machines to torture test. If they can survive you for 90 days they can survive anything!
That’s probably why he was one of the first to get the Deus 2.
Its a mounting plate for the Gold Maxx and ADX control box.....Universal stand

I love the Deus 1 with the hf 9x5 coil for everything but water hunting

Brilliant!! Love the idea, thanks. Enjoy your channel !
Thanks so much!
Superfreak why dont you glue a pice of flat plastic to the bottom to make it longer so it wouldn't roll over.
or extend the ears an inch or two, that would get it higher off the ground and widen the base some for more stability.
Hi Jeremy, I've just put a legend lower shaft on my d2 and it's longer and much stiffer suit's me great 👍

I love custom mods! Make it work! Heck yeah!
What about replacing the lower shaft of the deus 2 with the carbon fiber shaft of the nokta?
The plastic XP lower shaft is plenty sturdy. The plastic shaft weighs less than the carbon fiber.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Your a genius mate 😊✔
Thank you! Cheers!
Great Idea, now its lighter. Maybe i cut them off like u or make it longer

Get r done man. Bet you cringed when you had that sandpaper in your hand ready to scratch it up.
They sell 3D printed extension on eBay for $17…..you shouldn’t have cut those off
Could not agree more got a new foot on eBay
It’s never really yours until you void the warranty.
