But.............what is it about that machine that's allowing Jim to find so many rings? What's his digging theory? That's what I'd like to know. Cherry picking? Digging it all? Allowing the machines lack of high sensitivity to only lock onto significant targets? He must be doing something different with that machine.

When i was buying my mom a detector i couldnt decide if i should get a vanquish or a xterra pro, i decided to get the vanquish, but sometimes i wish i got the xterra cause you cant get the vanquish wet

When you do a plugg and swipe over the hole and plugg to check where it is..Why do the sound and ID disappear sometimes? I notes it my self as a beginner.

I kept some smaller square nails, just cause i dont have much stuff on my relic shelf, if i get more good stuff i may toss the square nails when i need room on the shelf Though the last square nail i found was under a huge rock in the hole, so i think it must have been old to get under that rock, cause if i understand it correctly the type if square nail i usually find is still used today with something to do with foundation

1:16 becarefull banging the pointer around, i broke one hitting it on my hand digger when it wasnt pitching right, it only works in pulse mode now

I'm wondering if you could provide some insight. I have the Bounty Hunter Lone Star metal detector. I had a piece of gold jewelry come off of me in my horse pasture. It had diamonds in it. The area I lost it is near my barn which was built in 1870 so there's a lot of nails and metal in the ground. Should I just forget about ever finding it? This thing seems to beep everywhere and I feel like I should just give up.
