Good to see the next iteration of this build in progress. Nice carbon flares would look sick. Would love to see a full restomod interior in this version. What about an F40 LM style hood scoop on a DeLorean? Might be crazy but might be cool.

Hell yeah man, love seeing progress on the widebody Delorean, and a peek behind the scenes of what it takes to put the whole thing together. I can't wait to see the next part with a more in depth look at making the new widebody kit too. I picked up an Einstar scanner also, and that thing has opened up so many more opportunities in fabrication. I intend on 3D designing and making a widebody kit for my Hemi Swapped Jeep Renegade, but I'm still trying to learn Fusion 360. Anyways, thanks for the update and for some inspiration to get my project done.

glad to see the wide body DeLorean pushing through! I have a question that maybe you've answered somewhere else before: what are you going to do with the turbo intakes that sits right behind the rear wheels? I wouldn't want to have debris and dirt sucked in when somehow the filters failed. thanks Tim!
Yea were running some K and N filters with offroad socks but if we ever hit the track then we will do some proper tubular intakes that get the filters up in the clean air.

The rear pontoons are hollow and there are plans to draw air in through the wheel wells.
I think every DeLorean should have an engine swap 130 hp isn't enough

I guess you have other things going on apart from DeLorean building. Whilst the scanning was interesting, it's been over 2 months since you last video on the LS swap and also well over a year I think since anything was done on the wide body car engine. I know things take time but why waste time on the mechanicals eg engine / drive side as you may as well focus on building a static wide body display car as a rolling chassis on a trailer for car shows and art galleries 😊 It will save you heaps as I doubt the engine will every run well in the wide body without junking it for something standard or aybe convert it to a Tesla EV . Sorry for the gripe but 20mins after 2 months?
Yea I totally agree and if the budget allowed I would build a ton on this car and others unfortunately we have to start small and hopefully the channel will grow o the point we can do dream builds. Thanks for the support.
