Great work ! I will say the LS part kinda ruins it . What doesn’t have an LS in it ? Yes they are reliable & easy to get parts for but if it was a really unique different build it would have a different set up .

Nothing better than to see an air ride system go into the dumpster. Set the ride height and dial in the geometry.

I wonder how many times, since he started this car, he's said the phrase "widebody delorean". After the first couple thousand of them, you can probably just call it the delorean. Everybody knows it has a widebody kit by now.

Didn't John Delorean name the doors DeGullwing (Delorean plus Gullwing)? Then while drawing the 4-Door Delorean it was supposed to be called the DeGullwing4. Maybe keep the Delorean code names going from 1983. Something with "De" in the name like Apple uses "i" for their products. I get the Back to the Future references but kindy goofy for a legit Model name. Just spit balling so voting for an old school name for the models.

Why no scavenge pump on the turbo oil return. That would have fixed the issue of the turbo drain being mounted lower than the oil height in the pan. It's also possible that the oil seals have already been blown out on the turbos themselves. Additionally, you should probably check your intercoolers and full cold side to see if you need to flush them of oil build-up from the turbos. I would imagine that you would've noticed it when modifying the piping, but you never know what can actually build up inside the intercooler cores. Edit (addition): Instead of doing the static height coilovers, especially with that front lip, did you think about doing a hydraulic lift system like the KW HLS, JRI Hydraulic Ride Height system, or even Mittler Brothers Hydroshox? It would be really cool to do a 4-corner hydraulic lift with an adaptive damper system, or at least a remotely adjustable system. Something like stacking the KW HLS on their DDC dampers. BTW "Doc" and "Marty" should be a no brainer. But if you wanted to go deeper you could choose "Calvin Klein" and "Clint Eastwood" as a nod to the aliases Marty McFly used in the BTF movies. You could also use "Biff" & "Mad Dog" or "Griff". With that body kit, the DMC-12 does kinda look like it would've been at home on the 2015 set right next to Griff's custom 633CSI.

Glad to find your channel. I love the Delorean build. I’d wrap the body kit to match the stainless best you can. But it’s rad! Gauges and lights send it over the top. Not to mention the twin turbo ls. I’ve been looking for one locally ever since.

"blowing white" that's coolant not oil. oil is white with a blue tint not straight white. straight white smoke is always coolant....

I'm a fan of the LS and have always liked the DeLorean especially with a motor they should have used. I think a Lamborghini V10 would be cool as well with some crazy F1 style exhaust.

Whenever I see one of these aftermarket K members, I always think that they don't look like they're up to the job. There must've been some reason why Mopar used that heavy K member. It looks like it would stop any kind of parallel movement of the chassis rails. The one you have there has no kind of diagonal reinforcement. I dunno, I guess the makers know what they're doing. The QA1 parts look just the same. That car is going to be really cool in the end anyhow.

This is a gorgeous build... question though. Have you ever considered addressing one of the major body points of the DeLorean that front grill cowl? Id love to see that as stainless and not the glass thing they went with.

Have you done anything to the baffling in the oil pan now that the engine is facing the wrong way? I've read people with 911 LS swaps have had oil starvation issues when racing unless they modify the pan baffling or go dry sump.

If you don’t install a scavenge pump, those turbos will always smoke being behind the oil pan. When the car under acceleration, the oil will want to run towards the back of the car. Making it hard for the oil to drain back into the pan..
