what i hate about the 528 model is the massive shortage of sunroofs. too many of them come without a sunroof !! the stitching of the leather seats (double seams) is DRAMATICALLY different, noticeable.
Which is the most value for money buy in the 5 series family. And what common problems should we looking out for if we intend to buy? And what's the average cost of maintenance? Thanks
most value for money i think is the 520i . enough power for most people and at just 13k, 14k+ depre. or for a 6 cylinder experience, a COE renewed 523i at just $7/8k depre haha. 520 has the N20 engine which is the same as this so check for leaks (valve cover and oil filter housing) and when the ATF was last changed
cost of maintenance will depend on how you drive, mileage etc. to save some money, get OEM parts instead of original and do preventive maintenance. if nothing goes wrong, you'll likely spend maybe 2-3k each year on maintenance? (tires, EO, battery, pads etc.)
if you get the car you may have to change the following :
- battery
- spark plugs and ignition coils
- tires
- brake pads
- ATF
- engine oil and oil filter
- cabin/engine air filter

If you’re looking for smoothness, 523i. For abit more power, 528i. For both, 528i 3 litre
For a fun to drive comparing G20 320i vs G30 520i, if space is also not an issue, will u choose 320i or 520i? $ and face aside(5 series more atas etc)
🇻🇳🇩🇰 I thought Singapore have high car tax. I have 2014 f10 528i luxury line and have to pay 40000 in US dollars 😭😭 in Denmark car taxes very, over 200% 😭😭.

What are the common problems with a stock f10 535i
Valve cover oil leaks, VANOS solenoid and the hpfp comes to mind
My bmw f30 2014 also have problem valve cover oil leak and also dme fault
Is he afraid to get covid from the camera ?
