My 1st retinol was this one from Inkey List. Takes a while to see a difference, but after about 8 months my forehead lines were 85% gone. I looked up redistar retinol, and the amount of retinol it contains is about .5%, but there is only 1% of it, so the retinol is minuscule. The granactive is what is doing the work here.
I love advanced clinicals retinol and it’s a huge bottle so you can put it all over your body. I have very sensitive skin and it doesn’t irritate me at all
she would probably say that it's sus they don't disclose the percentage of retinol in their products. using the purple cerave serum myself atm, my first retinol product, will try something new to compare when it runs out but so far no irritation. i am breaking out a bit but not much, think its called purging? but idk just gonna stick with it haha
Hi Shereene please share ur thoughts on how to apply L'Oréal retinol with inkeylist retinol serum. If not a veteran in the retinol game is it a good idea to use pure retinol ( L'Oréal pure ret) alternate night with inkley ret serum? Thanks
Hey have you found anything that works well with the redness? I’ve tried peach slice and it’s okay, but didn’t know if you had insight on some other stuff?
@@cocomo991 hi 🤗 I use 15% azelaic acid prescription and I'm thinking of trying the Beauty of joseon niacinamide serum as well because it has a low percentage of it and I want to see if it would help as well. From an aesthetic point of view, Dr Jart Cicapair green cream that turns into your skin colour is nice, it covers it really well without it being too thick
What about The Ordinary retinols?
I started with The Inkey List retinol serum & it was a lot more effective than I thought it would be.

How often are you supposed to use retinol?
Every night, but you might have to work your way up to that
Please recommend which retinol product is the best for beginners )) with redness, rosacea and sensitive skin. Thank you 🤍
The best will stay tretinoid
