U forgot the 2 strongest ones! DIFFERIN & ADAPALENE they used to be only thru prescription but now there over the counter retinoids
Those are retinoids not retinols
1: They’re not retinols.
2: Differin and Adapalene are the same thing. Differin is the product name and Adapalene is the active ingredient.
3: Tretinoin is stronger than Adapalene for anti-ageing use (or at least, has had more studies and more evidence proving its anti-ageing power than Adapalene has).
4: They’re*
As for the Olay retinols… can I really trust a product that has no percentages on its label? How can you tell the strength of the retinol?

The thing about ROC is they don’t disclose the % of Retinol. We’re left to guess… which can be dangerous for beginners.
$30 isn’t affordable sadly.

Can you do a list of what order to put on the products? For instance, does Vit C go before or after Retinol? When does moisturizer go in? I don't know how to layer them all properly.
Use your Vit C in the morning and sunscreen.
In the night apply your retinol and the moisturizer or you can apply moisturizer-retinol-moisturizer (sandwich method to prevent irritation).
Please don’t.
Nights:
Start with retinol once a week for a month before bed at night. Then twice a week ideally. You do not want your mix retinol with ANYTHING besides a good rich moisturizer on top to be on the safe side.
* ~ Although there’s only like two or three things that can be combined with retinol like niacinamide & hyaluronic acid *
So the no retinol nights you can play with other treatments to target your skin concerns and problems , again followed with your rich moisturizer.
Mornings:
After cleansing apply toners, serums, gels and everything in between to target your skin concerns, (like your Vit C :) seal everything with a moisturizer and lastly your sunscreen before you walk out the door is very important.
* Notice how your moisturizer is the last step in every routine?
And remember that your moisturizer and sunscreen of preference can be reapplied during the day as many times as you need to

@@db-gb5xi Well, that's a good thing for you. I never had to deal with them either until last year , this spot came out on my forehead and it really bothers me.
I got the Olay regenerist moisturizer and I felt like it just sat on top of my skin and didn’t absorb. Over the course of a few weeks or so, my skin started breaking out, so back to Costco it went 😢

I tried the No 7 retinol night cream. Now my skin is reddish in spots, itchy, and my lower eyelids are swollen. I know it’s not the serum you recommended. I’ve stopped using it. 😢
i love Roc. and i used it long time. but now i using Roc (night cream with silver label) and feeling have horrible smell. after that i switch to use Olay night too, i feeling only not work. it's normal. I won't continue to use it

So these work just was good as Kiehls anti-aging products? I've been a Kiehls only customer for almost 15 years, and I think I'm just brainwashed by them, because I see these products at Target so I believe, (because they are half the price of Kiehls), "no way could these compete with Kiehls. Thats why they can charge $75 for the same ingredients." I hope these products work just as well because I need to escape this expensive cult!
Why would you recommend retinol creams that come in jars? You should know that everytime you open the jar, all active ingredients (I.e. retinol) begin to degrade due to light and air exposure, and bacteria from your fingers no matter how clean they are. That means that long before you use up the cream, all the active ingredients will have disappeared. Read: complete waste of money!!! There are pump top jars...just look at the Drunk Elephant jars for La La Retro And Polypeptide creams. Only buy skincare in an opaque pump container or tube. Why don't you know this?!

Has anyone here used these products, but found your skin starting to flake and peel? Is this supposed to happen? Is this something that you need to push through or dial back using retinol every other day or once a week? I’m 52 with combination skin and still have acne breakouts here and there from time to time. Basically, I don’t know what the hell I’m doing.😂 The only thing I know I’m doing right is washing my face and wearing sunscreen everyday. In between those two….don’t know what to do. And what kind of sunscreen do you wear under makeup??!!! HELP!!!!! 😂😂😂I know there’s someone out there who knows. ❤
Be careful using retinol daily. Start use once a week see how skin reacts. If no breakouts move to twice a week, if no breakouts/flakes start using three times and build up to daily. After cleansing skin apply retinol then moisturizer. It’s a must to moisturize after applying retinol! If you start retinol using daily right off you’ll experience breakouts dryness redness and flaking thus start slowly. Goodluck 🥰

This video is just in time! Doctor I have a question, I bought this week the retinol serum by roc and I see some small red pimples that want to appear on my cheeks.
