Not as sick a burn as the one about her "low disgust sensitivity" from working as an embalmer. "If she could handle corpses and not feel sick, then she could be around Ira, as he was only slightly more revolting than a corpse." Oh SNAP!

This is but one of the strongest cases for the myth of free will. People think they have it, but they don't. Realizing people have no free will allows you to attempt to think about their lives that they did not control. It doesn't mean nobody can be held responsible for what they do (this is a popular slippery slope fallacy that is often used for those who think free will is a thing).

I'm sure the car salesman hired to carry out the hit had to ponder internally, "What exactly is it about me that makes me look like a hitman?" Kudos to him for remaining cool enough to not give away the game, and contact the police, instead. I probably would have blurted out, "Wtf?? ...NO." Which would have only allowed them to contact someone else, who might have actually followed through...and made it harder for the police to track.

I often fail to find the humor in these type situations. I do have a sense of humor but garnering a steady audience by ridiculing criminals with major major character flaws like hubris, that seems almost criminal in itself as it focuses people on schadenfreude and the enjoyment of what are really tragic situations of pain, of callous criminality, of evil. I think it is evidence, sometimes, of people wanting to just look down on fools,
like,. "Ha ha ha, we would never be implicable in any wrongdoing."
But consider the Stanley Milgram experiments and what happened at Abu Ghraib. . . And simply consider the very common tendency to project, which is more common than most people realize.
      This is scary shit.

@@zenawarrior7442 Hey Sis! ~hugz~ Glad I found this! 🤗 Hope you're having a good weekend! I'm just waiting for tonight's football game. I'll be yelling at the TV the whole time in my Chiefs get up! 🤣 I love 🏈 Do you? Sorry to hear you're mom wasn't doing so well. I don't know the 'specifics' but I'm guessing mom doesn't mean to take things out on you. Still, it does make it more difficult caring for her. With my mom, it was more physically draining, because I had health problems. Her mood was always good, but she was very tired. I hope you have someone helping you. It's hard caring for someone by yourself, this I know. ❤ You're a wonderful daughter, your mom must have done something very right! ❤❤ I'm really glad to know you. You're a good friend and a great sister! Way better than my bio-sister! 🤣💯 Bio-sis is (🤬🤣😇👹😤🤡) all at the same time! Drives me nuts, but I love her, anyway. Just don't see her very often. 😁😉 lol. I really hope you're having a good day. Mom too. Prayers and hugs to you both. 🙏🏻❤

Rich people are notorious for having a God complex, causing them to believe they can get away with anything, even murder. This is a great example of how corrupt someone can become simply because they garner wealth. TY, Dr Grande, for another great drop ❤

@Codehead3 Perhaps not, but ignoring unsafe defects in their products because improving the product would reduce profit and not providing decent working conditions for workers for the sake of a little more profit (Amazon warehouse employees having to urinate in bottles due to lack of breaks, for example) is certainly on the wickedness continuum.

That was a massive overgeneralization. That's like saying that all "poor people" are all criminals and uneducated.
I became wealthy by living well below my means and having a niche skill, and I'm well aware that consequences are the same for me as for others, only I get to pay more taxes and am judged more when I only give 75% of my income to the charities I volunteer for.

The only time I can remember that a person has paid the price for trying to hire a hitman was the case of Dahlia Dippolito. This happened in 2008. She went through 3 trials and was finally sent to prison about 5-6 yrs ago and I don't think she'll get out for another 10 yrs. She spent all that time waiting for what turned out to be a conviction, which must weighed on her. On house arrest, she had a kid that she won't be raising (thank God) What a long drawn out wreck. I'm glad her husband survived this ordeal and is doing well, from what I hear.

UM, the cops and the Insurance dudes doing a photo shoot and passing the smell test, LOL. Here is the deal, anyone that tries to hire a "hit man" is already a loser, and the only people that you are going talk to are cops. "Hit Men" are a fantasy of the rich, yeah, I can just walk into a certain bar, and just pay a guy to make my problems go away. DUDE, they are cops, and they get paid to put guys like you behind bars. I am not a fan of cops, but this kind of police work I can get behind. The amount of cops in dive bars, and rooting out these rich aholes on the regular for wanting their wives to go away, with your help. It's a weird fantasy and thank goodness the cops know it.
