Thanks for yet another SG lesson-you enunciate the words so well. For me, pronunciation is a big part of learning SG.
Thank you so much, Marcus! Glad it helps you 🤗
Amazing, thanks!
"mir" as "we" is also used in bavaria, the famous bayern motto "mia san mia"

Hoi Andre!
Well, this one got me feeling sort of sad and nostalgic. So familiar it makes me miss Switzerland so much.
I’ll enjoy continuing my learning journey in what is my ancestral language. Merci!!!
😕😁🤓
Awww, Randy, you're the best. It was so great to meet you here and I really hope to be able to do another meetup with you someday. So wonderful that you'll continue learning Swiss German.
Hoi Randy! I also have ancestors who spoke Swiss German and Hochdeutsch, actually my Hochdeutsch is better than my Schweizerdeutsch… but…. The issue I have is I have friends who not speak either language especially not Schweizerdeutsch and I have no one to speak with in Swiss German sooo Google translate cannot translate Swiss German if I was speaking to my friends so they could translate what I say😅😅
But than again I am very far in Hochdeutsch and I don’t know… should i learn Swiss German?? Because when I was 16 back in 2015, I had an online friend from Switzerland 🇨🇭 but she is definitely ghosting me…. 😅😅😅 sooo I have no one to talk too In Swiss German, just myself and my dog and my family and they don’t be understanding me in German let alone me trying to speak to them in Swiss German. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Danke
So interesting the comparison with standard German ! Appreciate it !
Thank you 😃🤗
I agree, this is so useful, as I've found that many Swiss are absolutely fine with foreigners speaking to them in Hochdeutsch, so long as you try to understand their Schweizerdeutsch.
This is probably preferable to speaking in a mix of German and Swiss German (which I tended to do) and which I think Swiss people find a bit unclear sometimes (although some are too polite to say!) 😁
I love your funny outros! 😆
