Hey! You’re from Alabama? I am too! I just got my first black dragon awm! I’m living in Atlanta right now though for work. I have literally built out my entire apartment for this monitor. He is awesome I can’t believe I waited until almost 40 to get one!!!
Awesome man. I’m building three very similar enclosures. You’ve done what many fail to do. You didn’t cheap out on the enclosure. You wouldn’t believe how many people buy expensive animals and keep them in small sub par enclosures.
Really nice to see the up close shots of the universal rocks backgrounds too. I'm planning to use their backgrounds and ledges for an upcoming Pilbarensis enclosure build, there aren't many videos on that stuff!
@@aguyfromalabama Thanks dude! Yeah if you have any tips in mind, I'd love to hear more. Breeding is eventually the goal but won't happen for a couple years as the hopeful new animals will be hatchling. Just saw your new enclosure update, looks amazing.
@@dannyjacobsen absolutely man! I’d love to help! I produced quite a few pils when I had them. Deep substrate was key. I had 2 feet of creek sand in their enclosure. 140f basking temps and food always available! They could breed at 6-7 months in my experience!
Unreal. You're a legend for this. I wish every large monitor had an enclosure that big!
That may be the prettiest stripey boy I’ve seen, that tail too!

Thanks man! Are you planning to breed the pils? I produced quite a few and can assist if you like!
