ua-cam.com/video/PJcjLpnTtQw/v-deo.html Reptile Vivarium Build Breakdown - Technical Details and Build Process Explained! For everyone that wants more details and information about this build I have just uploaded a follow up video. The answers to all of your questions are surely in this video!!! Thank you so much to everyone who has been watching the videos and subscribing to the channel! All of the support and kind words mean a lot and motivate me to make even more content for you all... I'm just getting started!
good job its nice and simple but coming from a industrial construction back ground and its mainly just me because I get payed to be picky I would have added more structural support and done few things different but no way any one without my skill set would have been able to recreate it so again great job
Let no one say that you aren't as much an artist as a craftsperson, even if the carvings have a utility function, the skill, not to mention the time and effort, shows your artistic skill and style
What an epic build! Your love for your animals and the hobby shows in your work. Truly inspirational. Greetings from a fellow hobbyist from South Africa
I remember this has been one of the main videos that I really poured over when I was trying to understand foam and Drylok at the very beginning. Really helpful for my giant build! I’m working on my own series of videos of making of stuff now, and owe a lot to you! Thank you so much! Randy
I worked in an upholstery shop for many years and a angle grinder with a flapper wheel make short work of foam shaping. It does require some vacuuming but it works great.
It will be my next video upload, it has had the most interest so I feel a need to prioritize it! You know what to do to make sure you see when it goes live :) Thanks for the kind words
I’m not going to lie. When I saw you gluing styrofoam together in that beautiful box I thought “WHAT THE HELL”. At the end of the video, I simply thought that this was a magnificent handcrafted vivarium. Very well done! Definitely subscribing!
This video is great I basically followed your instructions here and made mine like how you did yours. Wouldn’t have been able to make mine without your vid. Struggling big time with my rock wall now getting it to look as good as yours lol
Love what you did, i did this a few years back with a lot of my enclosures, i used black as underground and dry painted it with grey, so you get more nuance and shadow!
This is stunning! Such a perfect build for a beautiful species of monitor. Would love to see a supplies list of all that was used? I plan on taking on a project soon , it would be very helpful to know materials used here ! Thanks for posting looking forward to more in your channel.🦎
This is nothing short of art. You've got some lucky reptiles. Also thanks for pointing me to that drylok stuff. I make terrain for my D&D campaign with xps foam, so that's really gonna bring it up a notch!
I wish I had your skills, I do aquascape but when it comes to building things like you I’m rubbish. Your final result is absolutely amazing. Great job!
Thank you! I think almost anyone can learn to do something like this it's just a matter of being willing to fail/make mistakes a long the way in the learning process. Aquascaping will be a part of this channel in the future, I have some unique ideas I want to try!
This is incredible I've built a smaller one for my Chameleon. It's narrow and tall but I'm thinking of making a bigger one now as he's nearly a foot long now.
Really awesome build! I find this to be a great guide for anyone wanting to take on a DIY build of their own. I even picked up some cool little tricks for my next build! Great stuff 👏
14:19 I'd put a nice foam pillow in there with a cotton pillow case that has the end tied off. My mangrove monitor knows better than to defecate where it sleeps. I watched this video many times, love the ambiance.
Truly inspirational! Those blue tree monitors are even more gorgeous than I had imagined seeing them here for the first time. Hopefully they breed for you and produce many eggs and offspring for years to come. Maybe I can buy one someday, lol? Not likely but I can dream.

What sort of deal with the devil do I gotta make to have this talent?
The cuphead kind
None, just some determination and hard work
The amount of thought that went into all the little details is top notch. Beautiful animals as well
This was just phenomenal, One day I will make a bioactive vivarium that is just as stylish as this, but probably on a smaller scale.
This build is super therapeutic !
This is incredible, the cage even has wheels!

Also an electric carving knife is great as well.
