My first husband bought this CD for this song, and ended up loving the whole CD. He passed away over 3 years ago, but i always have this song on my playlist in memory of him💔💙. Miss u Neal.
Anyone else feel like if this album comes out either 3-4 years later or earlier they would have been much much bigger in the music scene? This whole album was kick ass!!!!
i bought this album in New Zealand back in 1991 when it came out......listening to the album aside from the title track it has a very AC/DC sound to it....thats probably why it tanked as a commercial success as that year Thunderstruck by AC/DC came out....and that went Platinum from memory..
I grew up to AC/DC , Skynard, These guys were fresh air considering the music scene at the time, and of the 80s beginnings of grunge , lost in the suits lust for trends for dollars instead of promoting gems like the Four horseman
I listened to this album religiously when it was released in 1991. Ashamed these basterds didn’t become as big as lynerd skynerd because of their record label.
every so often a band will come along a create a masterpiece and then sadly fall aside.Hell i thought i was the only one who heard of these guys.I am glad im not alone sorry to hear about Frank and Dimwit
Absolutely love all of it. I bought cause I heard Nobody Said It Was Easy on the radio. And I’ve felt like I’m the only one who’s heard this. 2 other CD’s like this that were one and done are Mutha’s Day Out and 4 Non Blondes. Whole albums kicked ass and then there were no more sadly
@@mikeellis32404 non blondes was because Linda Perry kept pushing the gay band thing. Other members in the band were gay, but they were like look, stop pushing THAT as our badge. We are musicians who happen to be gay, not gay who happen to play. Linda wouldn’t stop, so the other members walked.
Best Rock'n Roll band of that time!!!! I went CRAZY on these fuggers!!! I still would sing'em thru the years at random... outa the blue stream of consciousness hang you know!!! I'm glad I looked um up!!! I gonna rebuy all their shit!!!
I remember the guitar player Haggis said he first saw Frank Starr get into a fight in a bar, and he said “that’s going to be my singer.” Love this album still in 2024❤❤
I heard this song for the first time today...9-23-20. Did not catch who it was by. Had to try and look the song up on youtube. And here I am. Great song!
I was drinking with a guy named Kristov. Owner of a bar in Cambodia. It was just me n him cuz he said they never close so I yelled til he woke up n opened the bar. I had about 75 cds I had been carting around for 7 months. I put on this CD. We listened to it cranked at 4am the whole disc 3 or 4 times. I stumbled home next day I went back. The old sign of whatever the bar was called was blotted out. It was now MOONSHINE. We got shittered again and played that disc all fucking night. I let him keep the disc. How many dues to i have to pay b4 they take my soul away??!!
In 1991 I was listening to a radio station called Q107 in Toronto Ontario Canada after slogging my ass off all day cutting grass in 100 degree heat when I heard this song and the only one thing I could think of was a case cold beer.🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻.
Was some cool 70s inspired bands back in the 90s. Raging Slab is another band I really like back then. Even if this dont sound the same, I was think about them when listening to The four Horsemen
Still got my tour shirt from this tour, and it STILL fits!! I wear it about twice a month and every time I do I get somebody giving me the devil horns or asking me "Where did you get THAT shirt Bro?" I got it from the concert, Bro!! lol Great band, AMAZING couple of albums, and them tragedy strikes and they're gone. I remember when this album came out, it was hard to find as the record company didn't really put any money behind the band even though Rick Rubin was producing it. Anyways, after cruising through the Thurway Mall CD shop and everywhere else in Buffalo, I called Rochester's HOUSE OF GUITARS and they said "Yep, we have a cd, a cassette and a picture disc. I said, I'm an hour and a half away, can you hold all three, I'm coming now!! Drove all the way out there and listened to the cassette over and over all the way home.
I SAW THE 4-HORSEMEN WITH SOME HAIR SWINGIN' BAND IN GRAND RAPIDS..THE HAIR PILOTS WERE PELTED WITH BEER CANS THROUGHOUT THEIR OPENING SPOT..I THINK THE BAND WAS CALLED;WILDSIDE. WELL THE 4-HORSEMEN CAME ON AND SOMEONE FROM THE BALCONY THREW A CAN ON THE STAGE...THE SINGER: THE GREAT LATE MR. STAR..STOPPED THE SHOW AND CALLED THE GUY OUT...NOT ANOTHER CAN WAS PITCHED THE REST OF THE SHOW...AWESOME BAND. AWESOME ALBUM.
I was at that show! I have been blessed to see many, many bands over the years. To this very day, that show is in my top 5 most amazing ever. Such talent, and such stupid people...Club Eastbrook did host both back in the day.
I agree with the comment that says, "If there was a band that should have made the big time, this is it." They are awesome. They have Tons of talent. The singer is attractive too, His voice is out of this world, AMAZING! I love this band. I can hear every word that comes out of his mouth. The new music today, can't even compare to this work of art, they can't even touch this talent. Most of the singers of rock and roll scream or yell the lyrics, and the instruments are way too loud, the drums are so loud that it's difficult to hear the singer, but these guys ROCK and I can hear all the lyrics. Your audio for this video is absolutely fantastic. Thank you for sharing,. I enjoyed it. 😍😊😍
Had this on cassette blarin' loud in the old Ford in '91... Now on mp3 blarin' louder from the Toyota Times change, the Horseman don't....apart from dying and shit
Ha ha ha, apart from dying and shit. That's fucking hilarious. To bad they didn't make it big, and yeah the whole "dying and shit" thing really sucked too.
Ahhh...Edmonton 1992, rode hard then, love this band. Just read about Frank I wondered why they didn't have anything else. Great Vids, Thanx for the memories.
Saw these guy in Vancouver in early 92'.Awesome freakin' show.My drunk ass ended up talking Frank Starr's ear off for a while.I told him they were going to be huge. They would have except for some unfortunate circumstances.RIP Frankie, you had one helluva set of pipes! Long live the FOUR HORSEMAN!!
So ..I dated Frank during this time and WOW the talent dripped out him and the rest of the band but like most hugely artist and beautiful people gone too soon ...I think of him and smile
it ,makes me feel so good to see so much love for these guys!!!the reviews at the time said they were nothing more than ac dc rip offs, everybody rips everybody,ac dc took chuck berry&the who & voila!! its all about how much its from the heart!!these guys are 100% from the heart!!they make me happy everytime i hear them!!! r i p frank!!! drunk drivers who kill should have there hands cut off!!
one of my all time favorite songs...I loved this album when I bought it in 1990 after seeing video on Headbangers Ball. Still Jam to it!!! Goes for lot on ebay!
Dave, thats my bro on the lead guitar being o 2 cool You heard it here today Dave and I are gonna grab Ben and Haggis and put out some new material Back from Dead Me the drummer, Daves older brother Singer will be a surprise How long? Early 2016 Peace!!
A great Band i missed seeing live, Damn and damn again.. When you get a this combination of players, you can make magic..Rock and Roll at its best.. Thanks
Still can’t believe they didn’t go HUGE! In my top 10 albums, for sure. They remind me of Riot in the fact that they had awesome music but didn’t have their timing right.
Sure I remember seeing it on Headbangers Ball when I was a kid and I remember the VJ apologising because it was not"upto" the usual MTV standard .Cheers Dave love your guitar playing on the Horsemen records influenced my own playing a lot,Rocking is my Business was one of the first riffs I ever learnt,Classic!!
Wife got pulled over for speeding, explained that it was my jeep and the officer understood, front to back a great album. Good enough to be stolen from me 3 fucking times and replaced. I hope they get a bit of that for bail. A great record . Gotta say the sirens on moonshine always makes me check my mirrors. GOOD DIRTY ROCK AND ROLL.

God Bless 🙏. Heard this in Toronto so many years gone by. Thanks for this.
I'm sorry for your loss! Always remember the music he played. He's still around watching over you and your family..
I bought the cassette for this song and love the whole thing. Sorry for your loss
Its a very happy song. Glad it makes you happy
Now the Singer n Drummer both passed away...Seems like we're losing everybody...I cherish the music they left behind... :(
The world needs this kind of rock and roll again.. f****** love it

A band I was in long ago had this in our set every gig. Such fun to play, especially at the biker bars of course.
I grew up to AC/DC , Skynard, These guys were fresh air considering the music scene at the time, and of the 80s beginnings of grunge , lost in the suits lust for trends for dollars instead of promoting gems like the Four horseman
I listened to this album religiously when it was released in 1991. Ashamed these basterds didn’t become as big as lynerd skynerd because of their record label.
sultan of swing dire straits
Probably the best ever band that did not get the popularity that they deserved.
Was Jamming To This Rocker In ``91``.....Still Jamming To This Rocker In ``22``

I get the funniest looks from people when I'm driving thru town listening to this album blasting out of the stereo.🔊🙅🤷🚶🏃🚓.

Fuck them
Because they’re jealous.
I get the odd rocker taping his foot or a light head bob when I’m at stop light!
Would make my day if someone pulled up next to me blasting this. I would roll down the window and just sing along
One of my favorite overall albums ever. Can’t be beat. Best sounding band out there in the day!
Unrated band of the 80. Great band
If there was ever a band that "should have made the big time".............this is it.
you aint lyin.
The fucking baddest ass band
of their time, and no chessey

hard driving Rock n Roll.
Best Rock'n Roll band of that time!!!! I went CRAZY on these fuggers!!! I still would sing'em thru the years at random... outa the blue stream of consciousness hang you know!!! I'm glad I looked um up!!! I gonna rebuy all their shit!!!

Horsemen were a great solid hard rock band.
Rockin was their business and they were good..
R.I.P † Dimwit.....R.I.P † Frankie

Holy crap, I haven't heard this in over 20 years! Great song!

Found my old cd the other night cranked it to 11 and listened to it all...my god its still just great straight up rock n roll
I still can't get enough of Dave Lizmi 's guitar playing !! He had incredible feel and tone !!!

they could rock a crowed better then anyone . frank C star and dimwit held it together.

The music scene missed out on this band.
Bad timing.. unfortunately..
totally !! guess I'm old enough to get it
This was off a great album🎸🎸🎸
looking back feels great
One of the best songs I can remember!!!!!
Timing is everything in music and 91 was a bad time for these sorts of bands to survive. So sad, lost out on some amazing bands...
No gimmicks, no fucking technics, no bullshit: Guitar -> cable -> tube amp -> speakers -> ear... just that! Awesome!
If I had to pick my fav top ten tunes ..this would be in there ...everytime
This is one of my favorite bands after AC/DC, they sort of remind me of them, there basic rock sound is like early AC/DC. It's too bad I found out about these guys after they dissolved. I would of loved to hear them live. They are one of the true Rock N Roll bands.
Great bass line in this song too.~
One of my all time fave hard rock bands. Got all their CDs
