- A new leak reveals that Saber is working on not only Jurassic Park: Survival when it comes to first-person dinosaurs. They’re also developing Turok! No info on what kind of game this is. Remake or remaster but it looks like the Raptors and Dilophosaurs might be joined by Dino human hybrids and fire-breathing T-Rexes if this game is ever released!

There was actually a Survey on what Capcom Fans wanted and Dino Crisis was top of the list charts.
It wasn't at the top, but it was hella close, it was rated 2nd in the survey😅.We definitely needed a new latest gen remake like the resident evil games !

I actually played a ton of Turok 2008 back then and had a lot of fun on it. Really wish its sequel wasn't cancelled.
Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2 are an absolute must for remaking it.

I need an Arkham Asalum Remake by Rocksteady... God, I miss Kevin Conroy so much. He was perfect. I got a voice acting background and have to say that his voice has been such an inspiration for me since the Batman the Animated Series. The vocal training was really tough, sometimes without noticeable results for months but actors like him are a great impulse to not give up. You almost saw me as Leon in those new RE games :) Great video btw!

I think a remake of Evolution would be a good way to reboot the series since that game was meant to be a prequel.

It played like A much more expensive game, and its production cost was actually not that high... iirc, only a fourth of what Nintendo spent on Mario Sunshine, And significantly less than Microsoft and Bungie spent on Halo and Halo 2... yet in many ways, it was better than those games. Not graphically, obviously, but gameplay wise... (rocket launcher with the swarm bore attachment... HALO WISHES it had something that cool.)
The dang Raptors were annoying though, just like In Every Turok game.
Now, let's take our wishes further: A Turok Evolution Remake with A FULL Split-Screen Co-Op option. Sounds like HEAVEN.

That would be pretty awesome seeing the Kex engine take on Trespasser. Never seen how it handles physics in most games aside from good cloth and particle effects.

as DIE-HARD Turok fanatic, (I was born in 93) Turok was my first Rated M for mature game I ever played in 1998, which sucked me into it, including Seeds of Evil, and collecting the action figures... Along with reading the original Graphic Novel of the 50s "Son Of Stone" and Acclaim (based on Dinosaur Hunter game) comics, AND (I Honestly don't care) With 2008 Turok as imo a unique re-imagined story, AND FINALLY SEEING Ex-Disney Staff that made the Sone of Stone bloody gory animated Movie, I SAY...............FUCKING FINALLY OF THE NEW ANNOUNCMENT OF A POSSIBLE NEW TUROK GAME!!!! Seeing A Remake would be beautiful! Along of possibly making how Turok (Tal Set or Son Of Stone) is chosen to hunt Dinosaurs and stop the evil Campaigner would be fascinating!.. sorry for being Autistic Mode XDDD Just a die-Hard fan here lol

Honestly, the Jurassic Park game I most want remastered is Trespasser. Trespasser was an infamous flop, but it didn’t fail because the ideas were bad, it just failed because it was attempted too early and the technology just wasn’t mature enough for things like large open spaces with tons of physics items. Had they waited til, say, 2004 once Far Cry 1 and the CryEngine were available, everything would’ve worked as intended and the game would’ve been an amazing classic.

I remembered playing the old Turok game on N64 back in the day because I got it for Christmas. I also played the one on Ps2. It will be cool to see what they can do with Turok.
This is huge, especially for me because Turok Evolution was the very first video game I ever played as a kid. Followed by other dino games like Dino Crisis. So a remake of the original Turok would be incredible. I would gladly spend top dollars for it

I'm all for it; as I use to play Turok Evolution when I was in High School back in the late 2000's. Didn't get a wii, and other modern systems till later. Now I'm playing the remaster of the original on ps4, and I'm loving, espcially since I always make myself invincible.

Unpopular opinion but I'd absolutely be all for a remake/sequel of the 2008 turok. That's personally my favorite turok because how monstrous the dinos were and he's a dino hunter so I always loved it, basically futuristic Indian with space guns vs monster dinosaurs and creatures
Capcom did a massive game survey recently and Dino crisis was high in the list for demands. We will see a Dino crisis re make like the resident evil ones in the coming years.
Well Variety released new information about the Jurassic film saying its set on "an island" following "3 adults and 3 teens" and they're "stuck"...
I know nothing about Turok so I have no horse in this race, but it's awesome to hear that it was apparently another big dino franchise at the time and that they are now finally bringing it back.
As others have said, all we need now is a new Dino Crisis, and then a Trespasser remaster. Never grew up with the former games either, but I've been aware of them for a while, and I'd love nothing more than to play them especially in today's modern gaming generation. :D

Apparently Capcom has also been considering bringing back old franchises so I hope to see another Dino crisis... perhaps even one made in the similar way to the resident evil 2 remake.

I literally just bought turok 1-3 on my ps5 cuz I missed em from my childhood and you tell me this?! This is amazing! Also I agree with other comments... Capcom needs to remake the dino crisis games in their new RE engine that is amazing.
I'm guessing that Survival was supposed to be some kind of test run for the Dino movement in the engine for the games, cause I think they'll reuse the engine for Turok. Or maybe they test-ran it and realized how great the Dino movement was, which made them realize that they could use this old game franchise that's been dormant for nearly 20 years(And will probably come out by the time it's been 20 years since the last game) that just so happened to have Dinosaurs in it.
Turok is the most underrated IP!!! I have all the games, the movie, and almost all the comics. The way Turok is you can have weird aliens, dinos, robots, primitive villages, futuristic cities and throw them all in 1 world and have it make sense. I'm more excited about this than JP.
Turok 2 should be the blueprint. That was the best game in the series. The animations were second to none. How you hit them, how they react to your gun, You can make any enemy fight each other! Yo...they can actually make a BR out of this if they wanted to cuz i can see the vision. But,the animations need to be inspired from that level onward

My feeling is that the team got excited about working on Jurassic only to be faced with limitations set on them by Universal. I imagine that with a brand like Turok, the team will be able to create a dinosaur survival game that includes hunting the dinosaurs, crafting/survival mechanics, more substantial horror elements etc. Im sure Jurassic is much more constrained but we will see.
If they make Turok like they’ve reimagined Doom, it would be great. Embrace the 90s bad-assery. I liked the 2008 game, but it wasn’t true to form. I really liked Evolution, and I hope they eventually port it to next gen consoles.

Assistant Engine Programmer from Sabre here! Turok is still very early days, very far off and not much can be said. I'll say that if you're hungry for more original, single-player first-person Jurassic adjacent experiences, we're toiling away for you. As someone who would race home afterschool for 4-player Turok: Rage Wars sessions on the N64 back in 2000, I also won't say multiplayer is off the table either. Tal'Set has more adventures ahead of him.

I've been wanting a new Turok game, especially one that wasn't in space on an alien planet lol.
I'm intrigued but skeptical. I adore the first Turok game and would hope they run with that style of over-the-top, pulpy action and adventure without the story getting in the way. The cynic in me is expecting an uninspired remake the misses the point or a reboot that ends up getting lost in all the other generic stuff in the industry these days.
I could see them going in another direction entirely by making a survival/crafting/taming Ark clone based on the classic Gold Key Son of Stone comics.
The Mad Max game from several years ago was pretty good. I could see the people who made that being the perfect fit for a Cadillacs & Dinosaurs/Xenozoic Tales game.

Capcom just released the results of a massive poll they conducted and number one plase for more requested franchise revival was in fact Dino Crisis, hope this give them the inspiration needed to finally remake the series. Personally DC2 was my fav, DC1 was a clone of RE but with dinos, DC2 was like its own new thing.
Man some of the death animations in turok evolution where pretty good considering the time period the game came out in modern graphics turok could rival gears of war in terms of gore if done right with some of the wacky guns they made thoughout the series.

At this point I think a full on reboot would be appropriate for Turok. It may reference and homage the original but it'd expect it to be essentially a new game entirely.
Interesting. Almost feels unreal they would even be allowed to to it.
We can only hope we get a far cry/ fall out type of game where you can clear areas, establish camp or bases and customize stuff. On the other hand, imagine something like The Forest where your scrambling for limited supplies and trying not to get jumped by sneaky enemies including dinos and humans. I hope they can get away with dinos that look even more similar to JP dinos than the last game being that they have all the main models licensed. I wish they could take the Futuristic Rambo feel away and make it more about survival at least for most of the game. There can be a struggle to defeat a dino, and eventually he get his hands on big weapons for big creatures or squads of humans. They could retell the story and make it more gritty and somewhat realistic like Tomb Raider.
Maya Joshi could be a Turok. I know that would be pushing it but it would be a cool surprise and also tie both my favorite Dinosaur franchises into one. Also probably would be the only way for her to Survive Isla Nublar lol

I doubt Saber are doing that. My guess is either a remake of Seeds of Evil (the best entry imo) or something completely original and we'll never guess it.

turok 123 remastered recently it relased on consoles too. first game the older verison pc were missing some effect and music only remstered version got n64 equal.
