- Jurassic Park Survival is a new game that might even be horror in tone if this new description is accurate from Steam. Not only dinosaur terror from the science fiction but we could get some cool death scenes for the world of Isla Nublar.

The fact that this is Jurassic PARK and not WORLD tells me that we may do in fact get terror and suspense, like a somewhat less scary and terrifying Alien: Isolation. Especially considering how suspenseful and even scary the initial Park trilogy can get.

I grew up in the 90s so obviously Jurassic park is like one of my personal favorite films still to this day! After the first time I played Alien Isolation (very underrated game) I thought how cool it would be if this same team did a Jurassic park game!

Judging by what I am hearing that is what I have been wanting to see from a Jurassic game for a long time.
From the moment I first played Alien Isolation I thought right then and there what a good base Jurassic Park is for a survival horror game in a similar vein. Jurassic Park Survival doesn't have to be an M rated game to be good as long as they capture the atmosphere and suspense of the original Jurassic Park movie and the gameplay is engaging than we're golden. I really hope this game turns out good, Jurassic Park needs more verity in games than just park builders. I don't mind the park builders, they're fun in their own right but we need something new in the realm of Jurassic Park games, I look forward to exploring Isla Nublar and being hunted by a verity of dinosaurs on the island. Also, thanks Klayton for being the first to let me know JP Survival is on the Steam store now so I can go add it to my wish list lol.
Can you imagine being stranded in a forest on Isla Nublar, having rain pour down and then slowly hearing the ground thump louder and louder. Then facing the realisation that a t-rex could easily outrun you and that you're in a urgent press to find cover before it arrives? Quite looking to the new game :)
Sometimes iam dreaming of such a scenario trying to hide or run away from a trex in jp surely in expectation of the game but not scary atmosphere though more like in an adventures environment cant wait for the game to come

I cant wait for this game to come out. Im a 90s baby and i still love the original horror/thrill of jurassic park. The issue with the Jurassic World series is the fact that they tried to make it appeal to a larger audience but in doing so they actually made is hard for the original audience to enjoy. I hope this game will return back to what a Jurassic Park thriller should be... 'Ooooo, Aahhhh... thats how all this starts. But later theres running... and.. Screaming... ' Im so going to play this game on my channel
I can't help but wonder if maybe you'll run across the aftermath of Nedri or Muldoon's death? Maybe even Mr. Arnold since the main character is heading through iconic places from the film in the trailer. Like maybe she finds a jeep and thinks she can hide in it to be safe only to fine the Dilo in there munching on Nedri and that's why it's chasing her? Lots of spooky possibilities for this game. I hope if this game is really good with the original Jurassic park feeling mabye they could make a sequel that your a scientist on Isla sorna when hurricane Clarissa happens and you have to get to the docks as quick as you can while dinosaurs are attacking from everywhere

I feel lucky that I'm one of the people who saw the Jurassic Park movies before Jurassic World, and they scared me silly. And that's only talking about the jumpscares of the first movie. Imagine an R-rated version of that with guts, bones, and blood. Lol, how I enjoy horror sometimes, I don't know, but I'm all in..

Man, as someone who has followed your content for years yours it's definitely the BEST channel on Jurassic Park, and this is something that many other so called creators know, your contents are continuously copied shamelessly periodically, not only the topics but literally the "list" of many videos are portrayed very badly, you are great and there is a lot of research and effort in your work and seeing these things happen really pisses me off honestly

Looking at Saber Interactive's track record of low-budget releases and remasters, along with the company being sold off to a different parent group last month, I'd keep my expectations VERY measured for this...

I feel like the people we are going to see are likely to range considering the amount of people interested in the island. But, i do think the main or most important people will be the InGen recoon team for the recovery of data and other things that will go confidential, especially considering how important the whole legal processes were taken since the second movie and how extras have revealed the massive amount of information to be recovered from the island after the incident

I was so excited when I saw the game pop up with an achievement list on Xbox achievements because that usually means the game is less than a month out but I don't think that's the case here. Sooner the better!

I would love if they went with a more horror oriented feel to the game and I feel like that’s something a lot of us fans have been waiting for in a Jurassic Park game for a long time, I also hope that it has that Jurassic Park feel to it too. Great video as always, Klayton!

Like I said before I don't play video games but it does look pretty interesting to tell the truth. But in the movie coming up I hope to join the cast I hope so. And remember Klayton you are my favorite UA-camr.😊
It looks like a linear story game, but the title inplays it being a survival game... Maybe something like Tomb Raider? Like a semi open world where you have a degree of freedom but story elements moves you forward
this will be for sure a linear game design. just look at the ingame footage. doesnt look like open world to me at all
I'm picturing it being similar to Alien: Isolation in that regard. That game gives you a little bit of freedom but not much, and is overall very linear. Still an amazing game regardless though.

I am so friggin' excited for this game! I loved the evolution games but the last jurassic game I truly loved playing was the telltale JP game, it was fun, had a good story, good death scenes. I have high hopes for survival.

That scene from the Telltale game where Harding gets impaled, then chomped was so unnecessarily brutal, it actually made me laugh. But despite the flack that game got, I actually really enjoyed the story it told, and will occasionally go back and play it. It plays like an interactive movie.
I wouldn't say that 'humans' definitely means there's going to be more than one person, could just be that it reads better than 'against human'. This doesn't mean its definitely just Maya that's involved but it wouldn't surprise me if that's the case either.
As for her coming across as over confident against Rexy, I'd say its open to interpretation but to me it looks like she locks up as she pulls out the flare, not everyone responds to fear in the same way so I'll hold off on judgement until we get to see more of her.
While I'm not a massive fan of first person games (I'm a huge RE fan but 7 and 8 just weren't for me) I'll still probably get Survival just because its the type of JP game I've been waiting on for years now (and seeing as I don't think we'll ever get another Dino Crisis its the closest we'll get to that as well).

I mean the trailer looks like the 93 film. I really don't get why some people think Maya looks too modern. If we are seeing cutscenes from actual gameplay then in my opinion it will be very similar to The Telltale Game with more interactive gameplay. I think most people would be excited about that.
I did think her reaction to the T Rex being 15 feet from her was weirdly calm compared to her shrieking and fleeing from a dilophosaurus.

Throw in the fact they have renamed the new film from park to world and the game studio making massive cuts... i don't have high hopes for anything with the word "Jurassic" in it. I think we have seen it's peak... a long long time ago.

3:54 salyed me, the amount of times ive seen people think that Jurassic Park is a dumb, childbased dinosaur film and then get to that road attack scene and be poised on the edge of there seats, it's the most righteous feeling ever.

I have been CRAVING a Jurassic Park horror game as it is an untapped gold mine. If this game is scary, well polished, and is similar to Alien Isolation, I will GLADLY fork over the money for a copy. I can’t wait to hear more about it!
they might add blood later or have an option to have blood on or off or have it like say, we might see where Muldoon die have some blood around etc etc. but if it goes to a darker tone I think it might be an improvement and hopefully a start of doing dino stuff again
If there is one thing I truly hope, I hope it doesn't start us off with things already screwed. I wanna see what is the first problem she encounters. The moment she realizes that something went horribly wrong. Like with Jurassic Park: The Game I didn't expect it when the rex showed up at the Trike paddock, I thought the Trikes would just cause issues and leave. So to see that the Main Road had already happened and there were still workers just doing their jobs without any sign of them knowing how bad it was, that is great to me. Hoping to see you play it when it releases, I definitely know that good or bad this is a day 1 grab from me.

The books are way more graphic than the movies have been.
After Jurassic Park Survival releases we should get two dlcs/games that would help to explain certain events in the first trilogy of films. The first dlc/game would be about a InGen scientist being stranded on Isla Sorna in 1995 after Hurricane Clarissa destroyed InGen facilities on Isla Sorna with our character now having to deal with the dinosaurs on the island in addition to having to deal with Biosyn mercenaries trying to take advantage of all of the chaos to steal information from InGen.
The second dlc/game would be about a InGen scientist being stranded on Isla Sorna in late 1999 or early 2000 after InGen illegally created new species with our character now having to deal with such dinosaurs as the Spinosaurus and the JP3 Velociraptors along with Biosyn spies disguised as InGen scientists who we know stayed there until 2000 compared to InGen scientists who completed their research in 1999. This dlc/game could help to explain the creation of the Spinosaurus, Ceratosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Corythosaurus, JP3 Velociraptors and JP3 Pteranodons in addition to explaining what the amalgam testing was all about. In addition, it would also be cool if it was revealed that this is when Biosyn created the Giganotosaurus with maybe a baby Giganotosaurus showing up.
I'm kinda half hopping they take inspiration from OakWood for being chased by the Big One and Rexy

I really the two evolution games but l am excited to go back to the beginning again and have it be (hopefully) suspenseful just like the first movie
I’m hoping to see the HORROR moments in this game as that what this franchise needs right now.
I don’t care if it’s dark in tone; the books were lighthearted only in the beginning. The whole time the characters are on the island, you are holding your breath because you don’t know who is going to survive.
That should’ve been the overall feeling in all 6 films.
Jurassic Park was never for kids. This game should be like Alien: Isolation with dinosaurs.
Sounds morbid but I really hope since the trailer focuses mainly on the dilophasaurus, that we get to come across the “aftermath” of Dennis Nedry.
Like imagine gameplay of the character walking through that jungle/forest in the dark, in a storm, we can hear the almost playful chirping sounds and the rustling of foliage but we can’t tell where it is coming from-she is being stalked by something. Out of the darkness, she comes across a stranded jeep, the headlights are still on; maybe she has found help, or thinks she can make an escape in the vehicle. But as the audience, we know what sits inside. The gameplay becomes a cut scene as she opens the door of the jeep and is confronted by a half-eaten Dennis Nedry, as she gasps in shock a frilled dilophasaur jumps out from the stairwell ready to attack her (the same one which was stuck in the jeep with Nedry).
She screams and bolts in the other direction, she slips down the muddy bank just as Nedry did, and lands on her front-her hands blocking her fall, you have to mash a button for her to get up off the slippy mud. As she gets up, she disturbs the mud and uncovers a Barbasol can-the camera lingers on it for a second. Then it could transition into a chase-scene bit of gameplay where she has to outrun and escape the dilos.
Gameplay will probably be something like in Alien: Isolation.

I just hope they bring back troodons. Would make things uneasy feeling and dark if you end up running into a survivor that also got left behind only for them to go ballistic due to the troodon venom resulting in having to take them out. That and also the uneasy feeling of knowing troodons are stalking you through the island and any moment either them or a dinosaur that has altered behavior from them can go after you.
Hope that it's a darker game. Much prefer darker games than lighthearted ones. I want there to be a scene where a Metriacanthosaurus is eating another Metriacanthosaurus, maybe designed as a homage to the first zombie encounter in Resident Evil. Maybe the character we play as is the one who leaked the existence of Jurassic Park to Biosyn, making her somewhat responsible for what happened in the first film. Along with Biosyn mercenaries going onto the island to try and retrieve DNA for themselves after Nedry failed, making the player have to worry about both dinosaurs and humans. They could go the Half Life route withe having The Costa Rican Government going in there and silencing witnesses too, this sounds improbable though.
I'd love if the game played kinda like FNF where you're discovering lore along the way as well. Imagine hacking into a computer or something and seeing surveillance footage or a secret project and you're trying to uncover some mystery or something.
Things are getting really better in my opinion.
Saber entertainment does have experience making horror games, and setting up darker tones and ambience. So I have a good feeling about it.
Jurassic Park needs to return to its horror and suspense roots. I am dying for a good survival horror dinosaur game!

This is the opportunity to be scary and give the original film a sequel it deserves in game form.
Things I want to see in the game: more than 1 raptor, the bodies/ remains of muldoon, Arnold, nedry and genaro, ability to use muldoons shot gun, and drive a gas jeep

I hope it's a good game. I still think there should have been one made by the Alien Isolation people. They did a awesome job coding it and I think it would have worked well in a JP game. You should read up on how they did it and you'd understand why I think it would make for such a scary JP game using that system. (I just wish the Kenetic 2 was still a thing... They tracked your temp (To represent your heartrate) And your breathing rate and added those as senses on the Xbox version.) Now image that on a JP horror game.
I know this goes against canon but I really hope we get to see Proceratosaurus, Metriacanthosaurus, or Segisaurus in this game.
Imagine if they go full Michael Crichton book level dark. Not likely but I'd be al for it 😂
I personally wouldn't put much stock in the "humans" statement: it's certainly a possibility that there could be more people in the game, but as they haven't given anything to go on for that, I'll believe it when I see it. But I do think it holds promise in going for a more mature tone. I don't need it to be this overt, unfiltered, Rated R if it were a movie gorefest like some of the new dino games coming out, like Deathground for instance. But if we get a game at least on the same level as Oakwood - which for a small project was insanely good imo - I'd be happy. Imagine we get to see Nedry? Or at least, what's left of him, if anything?
This game is gonna be a horror show game . I hope to see more violence and dinosaurs eating and more scares .
