I may be missing something, but if you chose Halo as a talent, how can you have Cascade in your action bar? Did I miss something as I said, or do you switch them out as needed?
This class only works in gimmick comps, or against pugs where the opposing side are silly enough to leave you standing there turreting spells. SP have virtually no defence against melee and in the ranged battle, lose badly to hunters and skilled mages/locks. It has nothing to offer other than...respec disc and go heal.
Im only a 2200 spriest but your glyph set up is a little whack imo, fade is obviously a baseline glyph I completely agree that one, but mind harvest is ridiculously op, so its silly to not use it, to constantly have 3 orbs is strong, they did make it so that you cant have both of the mind blast glyphs on at the time....BUT the choice is obvious. if u alternate your Mindblast accordingly you should have 3 orbs about 75% of every match. your talents are 100% correct, I agree completely, overall nice video
I'm soon gonna buy wow again, i have a lot of experience with shadow priests, but only in wotlk and cata (i'd say for like 3/4 years), but i never played in in mop and dreanor, so what do you think about which tallent i should go for, disc or shadow?
What utility do we have anymore tho. We lost almost everything including our heals, ally dispel (well still have md), mana and health regen (new ve sucks), etc :( our cc (lol.. "cc") got nerfed too. Blizz pretends we are mages but they have so much more cc it's insane
ya and mages can heal during their defensive now meaning that EVERY other class can either heal/dps during their defensive's except shadow priests... yeah thats fair! a hunter can just keep eating me while his deterence is going, a pally can still just keep pressure on me with bubble up, better yet pallies can kite a shadow priest and heal for days where as i cant even run away from a pally to heal at all now.... I really hate shadow priest this xpac and its kinda been downhill for me since cata....
James Rozell Yeah I have a really frustrating time in Ashran when trying to play shadow, I can't beat anybody one on one it seems. Especially not melee or hunters. Dots are pathetic and hurt your damage from mind spike which is a stupid spell to begin with. Why would they give us a spell that removes our dots unless we had a good range cc that would break from any damage? So how do I beat a pos hunter that all he has to do is run away and then I have to rely on one dot (swp) and spam mind blast because I can't cast anything else while moving (other than plague when available)? I had a hunter jump me, but when I got the upper hand and would have finished him off, all he had to do was use deterrence and run away. My dots sure didn't finish him off. So he just runs off looking for help and then I'm the one getting screwed.
I realy dont want to be mean but wtf man? Did you heard what you are actualy saying? "If u dont belive me check this multi glad guy talents ... -> different." Well yeah keep in mind that if there are no dots u do 40% more dmg with mind blast ... Witch you DONT. at least read what that talent does before making guide.. srsly mate

Mindblast doesnt have increased dmg on targets that dont have dots on them, unless there is a glyph im unaware of
You're right, it's not Mind Blast, it's Shadow Word: Death that gets increased damage from CoP.

wait clarity of power doesn't do an increase damage for Mind blast ? or does it cause i read it doesnt

I would say play disc, it is pretty good as healer. Shadow just doesn't have enough damage and is pathetic vs melee.
However, I already quitted it, started playing battlefield again and soon im going to the navy

shadow priest is soo weak in 6.0.3 im just shocked its not any longer a serious dmg class.
