It took me the exact length of this video to eat a cheese stick, drink some water, refill the Brita and put on a pot of rice... I don't know why I decided to put this in a comment.
5:46 "Electric/Fire isn't a type that's been done yet." It technically has been done thanks to Rotom. But since Electric & Fire are my 2 favorite types, I'd love to see a Pokémon that constantly has this type combinaison.
I would like to see that too. I’ve recently thought that maybe Hisuian Infernape should get it, but then I thought that seeing as it’s based on a God, maybe Fire/Fairy type would be good
Yay!! I'm so happy you credited the artists this way. Names on screen AND the verbal mention. I remember people attacking me in the comments of an older video telling me how stupid and unnecessary it was. But I think it's important! Even if not everyone would actually go visit their pages, the name recognition alone helps support them and their work. Thanks for doing that!
Wait people attacked you over if being unnecessary? Honestly not surprised considering it’s the internet. Even if it’s just one person attacking you, ya don’t need that in your life
As much as loved Helioven in Cardinal, I can't help but think on the fact that it's missing the point of the Helioptile line, in that's it's a Solar Panel, and alludes to Solar Energy, rather than the Sun itself, so Electric/Normal actually makes sense for Heliolisk; that said, that's not to say it *can't* become like the Sun itself in a third evolution, or, to keep with the Solar Energy theme, maybe a _Solar Furnace,_ eh, eh? So while Helioven makes perfect sense as an Electric/Fire type, Helioptile and Heliolisk's typings _do_ make sense, at least in my book. I mean no offense, it's just my two cents. And great work on the video, Hoops! 👍
I would like the idea, that, when Heliolisk evolves, it would have absorbed enough solar energy by then that it convert that solar energy into draconic energy. As, like the sun, draconic energy is very raw and powerful. Like how you can feel the suns energy exuding on you. Making it an electric/Dragon
I’ve actually always liked Lumineon. That said in my own fake region I’m working on, I gave it an water/fairy evolution Gleamineon along with one for Heliolisk, and regional forms for Blitzle and Zebstrika with a regional evolution Zeblasma with those 3 being Electric/Fire types. I’d love to see a part 2 to this especially with Girafarig and Xatu since I feel like they’re good but missing something.
My personal opinion for Eldegoss is for it to become a Grass/Ghost after its fluff has been blown away. What comes after the elderly stage in life. The afterlife.
I’m totally down for a part two! There are so so many that need attention, like Dunsparse. I hope I wasn’t the only person that EXP-shared mine to the last moment, thinking it would become some amazing dragon 😩
Lumenion I like it's design but I feel like if it was something you fought more often I would remember it more. You just never see it in-game and that's a reason I think its forgotten about.
I feel like for Pokémon like Onix, Haunter or even Magmar, there’s a different evolution waiting for them, I call this a true evolution, since you’d need items to evolve them, just level them up a bit, boom, true evolution
Aren't they inspired by solar panels (given the way their frills work?) Since they're part normal type, I think it makes sense that the frills would heat up to such a degree that Heliolisk would burn its own face when the sun is strong.
Am I the only one here who'd like a region that has mostly evolutions and pre-evolutions for old Pokémon? Because there's countless potential for countless Pokémon here.
My main problem with this is Eevee. Since it has a bunch of Pokemon it can evolve into, it being able to evolve twice for each would be a lot of work for Game Freak.
All the eeveelutions should get a third form. Umbreon evolution gets poison Espeon gets ghost Vaporeon gets dragon Jolteon gets fighting Flareon gets ground Sylveon gets flying Leafeon gets rock Glaceon gets steel
I love Jynx-line. I feel at this point, teh least they could have done was give it a regional variant to change the controversial aspects and give it a regional evolution alongside it, and make it an unofficial duo with Mr. Mime-line at this point as they are both dual type Psychic types from Kanto at this point. And G-Mr. Mime already took the same typing as Jynx
I'd personnally really love Mightyena to get an evolution, or a good Mega evolution. I’think that this pokemon is REALLY underrated, I used it in my Alpha Sapphire playthrough and I loved it so much! Sadly, it’s not really strong and needs a little bit of a stats boost, maybe even a secondary typing....I quite like the Asone région version of the Mightyena line by Truegreen7 and its evolution in it, and I saw quite a few regional variants of Mightyena that looked incredible. Looking forward for the next episode of this video if there will be one.
You know, just because nothing is really added in a lot of these evolutions, doesn't mean anything is lost. I, for one, like zebstrika, and thing that what made blitzle so cool is still present in its evolved form. When designing pokémon, you need to keep its origins in mind, or it just becomes a mass of "cool-looking stuff"; sometimes, simple is best. Take the darmanitan evolution you showed, for example. Sure, the whole stegasaurus-ape look might look cool at first glance, but overall, it loses a lot of the dharuma motif that made it so cool in the first place. Instead, how about a fire/grass version that looks like an antique dharuma doll covered in flowers; it could look like some sort of flower offering while also being a nod to panicled hydrangeas, sometimes called dharuma hydrangeas, a species of flower native to East and Southeast Asia. There are also barely any pokémon with this type combination, so that would only add to its appeal. If we think more about what makes sense, and less about what looks cool, I think we will end up with overall cooler and more interesting pokémon. Also, jynx was never a part of a trio with electabuzz and magmar; those were always a duo. Jynx was originally the female counterpart to mr. mime, which was originally a male-only species. That being said, I do think it deserves an evolution since its former counterpart got one in the form of mr. rime. However, I think the obvious form its evolution should take is one that draws inspiration from the stereotypical "fat lady" in operas, albeit with larger lips to support its signature move, lovely kiss (and as a bit of neoteny from its days as smoochum), and more viking-like features to denote its ice typing. Speaking of its ice typing, the blackface controversy could easily be overcome by giving its new form blue skin to mimic a symptom of hypothermia.
But that's just an alternate form for a pokemon, not its own pokemon. We need a fire electric type with its own evolution line and such, rather than a different form for a pokemon.
Would love a follow up video please. Would love to see a split second evolution for Porygon 2. I want to see what was trying to be made if the data wasn't corrupted.
To me there's a big difference between regular evolution and mega evolution so a lot of the examples you showed visually just didn't fit well for me personally
I think the best chance we've got of a Jynx evolving is through a regional form of Jynx. Whilst I have heard there's a trio connection between it and magmar and electabuzz, I've always seen Jynx as having a duo connection with Mr Mime. Especially, since Mr Mime's galar form adopted the same type pairing as Jynx. I think it would be poetic if Jynx got a pure Psychic type regional form with an evolution too.
I get what you're saying but that's not a permanent form of rotom take it to any game with the bullshit to change it's form it's not permanent like say when the female bagworm evolves based on what coat it was wearing when it evolved if it's the male it doesn't matter it's just a moth
Yknow, I feel bad about Jynx. I love her cry. And I never thought that it was offensive. (Im african descent and it always felt like people were “offended for me” with that whole controversy). I would love to see an evolution for Jynx.
speaking on your last entry in this video, i made a regional variant based off of sulphur abundant bluish lava, which gives slugma a cooler but more utility based design Wisterian Slugma is Fire and Plasma, a new typing added in Wisteria, Slugma bathe in sulphur pools and even excrete molten brimstone in its wake, this creates a slight incline that can form cliffs over hundreds of trips. same goes for Wisterian Magcargo, however a Rock/Plasma type that unleashes its full strength when bathed in magma pools topped with sulphur, this also means that the excess sulphur in its body gets translated to the size of its cone shaped sulphur shell, which spouts blue flames when angered, if magcargo is attacking however, it fires off needles made of sulphur which shatters on impact, causing deadly poisons in said sulphur to accelerate through the body of whatever it hits
I want the pika clones to evolve, particularly Plusle n Minun since in my opinion they look more like Pichu clones than Pika clones. I don’t consider Pichu a clone since it was only the 2nd generation plus it was the same as the other baby Pokémon so I don’t think Pika-clone was on their mind until gen 3
Darmanitan really should not evolve further because that thing is a truck with a nuke. 140 attack stat and 90 speed with sheer force is way too OP to get an evolution. And then you have galarian darmanitan with 160 attack stat zen mode and guerilla tactic.
i hope jynx gets a evolution i mean they missed a opportunity with her with alolan regional form as a variation of a hula girl that could have been a grass/Ice type or a Psycho/Grass type.
I agree that Jynx should have an evolution, but the problem that I see with it is that, in terms of origin, Jynx's line is complete. With Jynx being based off of Yama-uba, and Smoochum being based on Kintaro, the child she cares for. I mean the could base it off Yuki-onna, but that's already Frostlass.
I never actually noticed Skuntanks cry was a fart 😭😭 Also, there's a theory that they made Galarian Mr. Mime and Mr. Rime to essentially replace Jynx in the trio with Electabuzz and Magmar

I think Jinx should have gone the gardivoir route and had a split evolution for smoochum. Have smoochum have a male and female gender evolution - female being jinx and then having both evolve again - that jinx evolution you showed was great !!
In general I think a lot of the 1 or 2 stage Pokémon that got megas could do with their megas becoming straight up evolutions. Maybe if their stats were nerfed a little it would prevent them becoming OP, while recovering the relevancy of those that lost their mega such as Mawile
I've always wanted to see a grass-type variant of Jynx based on a Banshee or Jenny Greenteeth - it would've been perfect for Galar!! As for the controversy, how is nobody talking about the state of Magmortar?? 😬 The more I see it (mostly in Pokémon Go) the more I think somebody, last minute, went "ummm, we should probably be careful with the colour scheme because there's a lot of blackface elements here"
@@jeremyvoneschen4627 I think it might be a yamauba rather than a penguin though, the lore, design and pokedex don't seem to add up with it being a penguin. Interesting take, though🙂
They should revisit the idea of evolving pokemon in certain locations. Like Probopass and Magnezone. And they wouldn't wouldn't to worry about making an ecosystem like that in each following game to accommodate it either. If that ecosystem were exclusive to one region and the pokemon could only evolve there, would that not be a "regional evolution"? That way they wouldn't even have to worry about making regional variants for every pokemon they want to give a regional evolution to. Win-win. Anyway, I explained all of that to give my idea of regional evolutions to both Helioptile and Sunflora. Somewhere with constant harsh sunlight could be the ecosystem they need.
I'd love to see an evolution for Lickilicky. I know it has a BST of 515, but Porygon2 had the same BST and it still got an evolution. I think a third member of the Lickitung line might help people appreciate Lickilicky more as that awkward teenage phase many middle evolutions are seen as.
I always felt that Froslass was designed with Jynx in mind as its 3rd evolution. However, due to the controversy and dislike for Jynx, we never got it.

I never actually noticed Skuntanks cry was a fart 😭😭
Also, there's a theory that they made Galarian Mr. Mime and Mr. Rime to essentially replace Jynx in the trio with Electabuzz and Magmar
5:50 Rotom heat my guy
Many of your listed PKMN have very nice second evolution ideas. The idea of Jynx is my personal favourite.
So, I am going to give all of these pokemon some stats because I hate it when they aren't given any.

I have decided to leave it here because I am bored, and this video is pretty old so not many people will likely see this anyways. If you do thanks for reading my comment to the end.
I think Jinx should have gone the gardivoir route and had a split evolution for smoochum. Have smoochum have a male and female gender evolution - female being jinx and then having both evolve again - that jinx evolution you showed was great !!
In love with this jinx evo
I love looking at fakemon as well as new pokemon
As a dragon ball fan with a sidehelping of digimon, it should be kinda obvious that i like multi stage transformations.
So this is gonna be neat.
😬 The more I see it (mostly in Pokémon Go) the more I think somebody, last minute, went "ummm, we should probably be careful with the colour scheme because there's a lot of blackface elements here"
You should most definitely make a part 2. Also I think people don't realize that they made Jynx black because Jynx is a penguin.
Wait what?😮
@@sanjablazina2879 picture Jynx without the blonde hair you will clearly see that Jynx is a penguin not to mention Jynx is part ice type.
@@jeremyvoneschen4627 I think it might be a yamauba rather than a penguin though, the lore, design and pokedex don't seem to add up with it being a penguin. Interesting take, though🙂
Yeah make second part hopefully fossils who need third evolution be in that part 2
I love lumineon so much, it’s part of my sinnoh teams I made in black and white. Level 100 and all
3:17 Spearow Evolves Once into Fearow.
Please safe Sunflora, Seaking, Parasect, Electrode and some others:-)
Yes I agree
Manectric evolution? Please?
The good doggo needs some love
Whoa... it looks as if Darmanitan went from a mammal to a reptile.
I wish he talked more about each design instead of just saying "This shows what it could be when it was underwhelming before"
Aside from the cardinal designs
I always felt that Froslass was designed with Jynx in mind as its 3rd evolution. However, due to the controversy and dislike for Jynx, we never got it.
