Here’s something I want to know, I’m the anime it’s always mentioned that a trainer with a Pikachu has done things to help the Pokémon world like in the Arceus and The Jewel of Life movie when Sheena calls Pikachu a thunder creature and Ash it’s humans master and same with the Odd Keystone in the DP anime the old lady said that a trainer and his Pikachu helped sealed Spiritoomb away. I’ve always wanted to know why it’s a trainer that is like Ash and Pikachu it’s always confused me a lot
@HoopsandHipHop The reason why Calyrex has a blue aura is explained on the official website for the crown Tundra. The reason being that Calyrex has a Blue aura is that Calyrex does NOT use Eturnatus energy for dynamaxing. It uses it's own energy instead.
Actually I believe I have a answer to the whole Melmetal turning to gold thing. Melmetal is comprised of liquid mercury and when mercury is exposed to high levels of radiation it changes at the atomic level turning it to gold. This happens in nature a lot, and would mean that Melmetal’s changes in Cerulean Cave would mean that the crystals there are heavily radioactive.
Update: In 1941 a test to synthesize gold from mercury was done and it was a success. It was achieved by bombarding the mercury with neutrons; however, the gold created couldn’t be used as it was heavily radioactive.
This could’ve been caused by mewtwo or, more likely, was the reason mewtwo came there in the first place. Seeking out an isolated place would lead it to a dangerously radioactive cave, which no sane person would venture very far into. The perfect hiding place. Honestly, this could retroactively fit into canon very well.
I always thought the note in the train station was for the ghost girl when she was alive. She waited in the “usual place” which was the ghost girl floor, until she died. The person never returned with help and she’s still waiting. You enter and she thinks you’re her friend for a moment, but no, you’re not the one.
My guess would be that the X/Y Mysteries were supposed to be sidequests for Looker and Emma. He is a private investigator/secret agent after all and Emma, with her psychic cat Espurr is kinda a medium. So it wouldnt be to hard to imagine you, the player, being sent on a couple of Quests by Looker (maybe accompabied by Emma) to try and find information on Xerosic and solving some random cases. These were likely abbandoned during development, but Gamefreak didnt remove every hint or Event afterwards.
@@forceoffriction This is effectively the same thing. Gamefreak had a history of just not finishing things and intending to implement them in the follow up game (which is BS), but this is ABSOLUTELY what happened with the battle frontier (iirc) in ORAS, it was left unfinished for the 3rd version that never came out.
@@danielbroome5690 100% I bet it (and some of the Zygarde stuff) would/could have been adressed in Pokemon Z (or whatever) they've clearly decided to stick to very hard deadlines of 1 per year, instead of completing other things properly
The placements of the Odd Keystone in the games tend to be in reference to the locations of real-world tragedies that have occurred. Quite possibly as a sign of respect for the lost souls of innocent people. Eg. Given that Twinleaf Town is in one of the most Southern areas of Sinnoh, it could have been the first area of Hokkaido that was invaded & colonised by Japanese settlers, where genocide first occurred in Hokkaido.
Black and White were my first Pokemon games. Then I briefly played Soul Silver, but I only borrowed it. My _true_ second Pokemon game (I think) was Pokemon Y.
Game more or less confirm it in the story. When the gigantamax power is purified by the bond between trainer and pokemon is harmless. Calirex can make items to connect the trainer to the pokemon. Shield and sword were made by calyrex too. In a similar way Z moves don't damage the pokemons because the crystal energy flow in the trainer first. If this theory is correct the thera crystal power should damage the pokemons... we will see.
With the ghost girl in Lumiose city, almost everyone seems to miss that there's a Hex Maniac (the same sprite as the "ghost girl") elsewhere in the game who's listening to an elevator for no explained reason. The "ghost girl" spawns near an elevator. I think the ghost girl is just the Hex Maniac astral projecting, although it still never explains why. The other thing people miss with that is the games pretty much always have unexplained ghost activity in them. "That hand on your shoulder..." from gen 1!
I mean…ghosts have been a part of the series since DPPt, not since X and Y. The first ghosts were the little girl in the Old Chateau and the butler. Then, there’s the ghost on Route 217 in Sinnoh, and a ghost girl in Unova on the Marvelous Bridge and at Strange House. The mystery of _this_ ghost girl mostly came about because a Hex Girl with the exact same dialogue appeared in Mt Pyre in ORAS, and people assumed her to be part of an event.
Calyrex's blue aura has a cool meaning behind it. In the past, true king's royal blood was believed to be blue. The color blue actually has always been associated with kings.
It also has to do with the rarity or price of inks, fabrics and dyes at the time with blue, indigo and violet being far more expensive and therefore status symbols
@@giovannimarquez6429 One of the pedestals in CT states that the people of the CT found Calyrex badly injured and feared open hands. So, according to me, you are correct, my good sir.
My best assumption about the Odd Keystone in Twinleaf Town is simply this is where Akari/Rei ended up settling down after the events of Legends Arceus and it is simply the keystone that was tied to the Spiritomb they had obtained while making the pokedex. Biggest justification I have to this is the fact Akari/Rei resemble Dawn/Lucas and the Azure Flute in BDSP was available only after completing the pokedex in Legends Arceus.
Man, all this time, since I was younger and got Diamond and Pearl and eventually Platinum when they all came out, I’ve spent countless hours in those games and done so much from first discovery and had those same files for years. All the times I’ve played it and done all kinds of stuff on ANY of those games at ANY time, I NEVER knew the odd keystone was in twin leaf in that little pond. I can not believe that haha. That was a cool fact. Caught me by surprise for sure!
Actually you do see the ghost girl again. In the hotel after the encounter, if you speak to her she says "Shhh. I can't hear the elevator." After that she seems to vanish. I think the note is tied to the ghost girl and the usual place is either the building we find her in, or the hotel. Perhaps she was the one in danger, but the person never came back and she died, thus she's now made to haunt that building and the hotel, waiting on "The one" who was supposed to get her help.
Yeah, this is the most likely answer. Considering she’s now a ghost and uses the hex maniac model, my theory is that she was being hunted by some sort of ghost Pokémon, which ultimately took her life whilst she was waiting for her friend to arrive at the “usual place.” However, this then begs the question: What happened to the Ghost Girl’s friend that prevented them from being help for her? Perhaps whatever was stalking her took out her friend as well.
I’d personally love a Legends: Zygarde. One in old Kalos where collecting the Zygarde cells is one of the major plot points, and the ultimate weapon, Pokémon War, and AZ’s backstory are fleshed out as you witness these historical events firsthand.
Absolutely funny to think that Calyrex could be the clean energy source Rose was looking for and his brother stumbled on it by using a rock as a pillow
2:46 I think there is a reason for the "color change". You can see it do it when you are under a light source. 6:51 When it comes to ghost kids. It goes farther back to the Old Chateau in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum.
I wonder if we'll get a 2nd part of the "meet in the usual place" one in scarlet and violet, since Paldea should be right next to Kalos, and that note is found in a train station. I mean, I doubt it, but also, the big crater in the middle could be where the ultimate weapon landed and is why the gimmick is a crystal formation over pokemon (since the weapon is also linked to/made of crystals) and therefor have tons of links to x/y.
The biggest secret I'd like answered is who were the people who make up Spiritomb and what did they do to be trapped in the first place; all we have is one side's story but who's to say they said what they wanted to be told so they could be seen as in the right. In Legends we meet one of the souls and she's a child: what could a child have possibly done to be punished like that and who's to say more children aren't more souls that make up Spiritomb. For all we know the people who make up Spiritomb were just victims who others wanted to get rid of because they had something others wanted or just wanted to get rid of without getting their hands dirty. After all people can be cruel.
It must be for immortality testing using orphan children that nobody will miss or remember as test subjects. Testing how it works effect the souls, going to preserve theme etc etc got the idea from hundreds of stories about killing childrens in video games like five nights at Freddy's and poppy play time
I love Kalos so much and it makes me really sad that there was so much wasted potential. Kalos and X&Y are good games, they just needed more follow up.
@@skaionex ugh, yeah. Just saw didyouknowgaming’s video about what could’ve happened to Pokémon Z and it’s just sad. I’d recommend watching it if you haven’t!
Regarding the ghost girl and the note in X and y, we know for a fact there were at least four different mystery gift Pokemon planned for X and y that were not included until Omega Ruby and alpha Sapphire. Hoopa, Magearna, volcanion, and eternal flower floette. There's also the possibility that they were going to have mega latios, mega latias and zygarde with thousand Waves and thousand arrows. That is seven potential in-game events that they could have released alongside that. They had very similar things happened with diamond, pearl, Platinum black, white, black two, and white two, where there were some things that didn't really make sense until you received the mystery gift Pokemon. Examples being the woman that turns into zoroark, the empty bedroom on Liberty Island, the woman that gives you the Garcia flower, and quite a few others. It is very possible that the ghost girl, the hidden message, along with the three locked locations in the desert, the train stop that seemingly leads out of Kalos, and anything else that just doesn't make sense were all either intended to be part of one of these mystery gifts or even a potential third game in Kalos.
My theory for Calyrex is that the red aura represents the blood of the Pokemon, and since historically, people have thought that royals have blue blood, with Calyrex being the king Pokemon, it only makes sense that his dynamax aura would be blue to show his blood.
I like the stuff you were saying about the ghost girls, however - they’ve been around since gen 4. One little ghost girl was in the mansion in eterna forest you could only see at certain times, and another ghost girl shows up in Black and White 2
I think the latter was in Black and White 1 as well. In the first games, she's standing on a bridge and just vanishes when you talk to her. Black and White 2 go on to give more explanation to what happened to her and her home, which makes that a rare occurrence of a ghost girl actually being explained in-game.
And don't forget the ghost butler in the kitchen in Eterna Forest. I believe that mansion was the original Pokémon Garden area as it has a similar structure as the Pokémon Garden Mansion we see and capture Pokémon at.
Someone already mentioned the mercury reacting to radiation thing for why Melmetal changes colors like that but I think the actual development reason is that the texture messes up when it gets near that little crystal light source and it just changes to match the hex nut
The Spiritomb mystery in particular creeps me out. Was someone planning for something horrible to happen in Twinleaf town? Did we thwart it by taking the Odd Keystone away? We may never find out...
What I think is happening with Calyrex is that it is drawing the power of dynamax from Eternatus but is also using its own power to do it has well so it can’t become frenzied like other Pokémon do during Dynamax, Adding the blue glow along with it. Personally I really want to know more about Eternatus. We know it came from space but that’s really about it, it’s it an ultra beast?, relates to Arceus possibly? I remember watching a theory relating Eternatus to being one of the hands of Arceus but got separated. I think that’s really neat! And makes sense for it being closely related to Arceus being so powerful and all! I just want to learn more about my favorite space boi!
There is also a “Hex maniac” in the hotel in Lumios city when interacting with her she will say something like “Be quiet, im listening for the elevator” so it leads me to believe that its connected to the “Ghost girl” in the office, or the more likely one is its the recipient of the train station note.
Maybe Meltan and Melmetal are actually ultra beasts that haven't been properly identified? On another note, Ghost Girls have been a thing in pokemon for a LONG TIME, and the ghost girl in Pokemon Black and White 2 even had a story you could uncover.
Giratina is my favorite legendary, I think it looks cute, with the whole master of the shadows look, It also has a cool feel, to the origin form being that of a warrior whose soul is still fighting, Yvetal, pokemon of destruction, has such a fluffy scarf, and Eternatus looks pretty cool with the whole poison-tipped wings and glowing skeletal draconic form it has. After all, Eternatus using cross poison uses the trailing wing tips to attack like whips. In regards to Spiritomb, compared to the grimm from Remnant in the show RWBY, those creatures would be.. opportunistic at the chaos, though happy might be a stretch. Perhaps if it was something like the Hound with the general order of destruction or chaos? then again, it's "core" (RIP... or maybe not while the Hound is alive?) might have lingering emotions that could "bleed" through.
Technically the ghosts started in Gen 4. The old mansion in Eterna Forest has a ghost as does that one bridge in Black and White. XY was just when people started realizing it more.
There's also a ghost girl in BW2 that gives you the Lunar Feather in the old Chateau and vanished once you catch Cresselia. It's outright stated that Darkrai was the cause of this ghost girl's death as it used Dark Void which put her in an eternal nightmare. Her parents were gifted the Lunar Feather by cresselia to remove the nightmare, but it was too late.
Surprised you didn't bring it up- but the ghost girl trope didn't start in Gen 6. I'm not sure about Gen 1-3 but Sinnoh had the ghosts (including the girl) at the Old Chateau. Gen 5 has the ghost involved with the Darkrai and Crestelia thing, plus the one at the house near Lentimas town
2:04 - I mean it’s also supposed to be implied that the Giovanni that leads Team GO Rocket is the same Giovanni that leads Rainbow Rocket in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, so im almost certain it’s canon that Meltan and Melmetal come from our universe as well
I’ve always speculated that the note could have foreshadowed the looker mission like maybe it was a conversation between Emma and looker before she goes to work for him
@@jean-pierrebenzenique wrong. he meant the note near the train and waterfall near a hotel that talked how his future self is doing. that note in luminose is unrelated.
Biggest mystery in pokemon history, How professor oak can somehow tell the player wherever they are on the arceus forsaken earth when they can't use their bike
Woah, that's freaky with Melmetal changing colour! Also the thing with Calyrex... While it doesn't explain anything, Calyrex is supposed to have protected a lot of Pokémon from a meteorite, yes? Could that have been Eternatus' arrival in Galar? Maybe being so close to it when it arrived altered it somehow. :O
We might find out more hints to the secret mystery in an XY remake in a future gen. A gen to not only to bring back these secrets and might even explain some, but a gen to also bring back Mega Evolutions! And maybe this time, making it to stay!
I like the way you are thinking, except for making Mega Evolutions stay. I don't know why people like them. They are one of the worst new things Pokémon have ever done, and largely responsibile for why I stopped playing these games. Stupid, unoriginal concept, plagiarized from Digimon. But I would love to see more mysteries from these games expanded upon in there.
@@josephk.8728 The thing I like most about Mega's is, it gives previously useless Pokemon a chance to be good. Let's take a Pokemon like Bannette, it previously had no use at all but thanks to Mega's had seen some use in Team's. And that is why I think Mega's should stay, it gives older Pokemon a second chance at life if their usage was just fully shafted
In the clips with melmetal changing color, it only does so when it steps onto the lights beaming onto the floor. Thus, an obvious conclusion: It's a dang lighting error.
I've only got a best guess for ghost girl. I think that is works in a similar way to being the "one" like how the old man can sometimes see mirage island in the Hoenn games, but back end programming would need to be checked. I think either it's to do with the girl picking a series of numbers or a secret ID of the trainer and if it matches, then you are "the one", or it is based on a member of the party matching those numbers, and they are "the one". Best guess is that this changes to a random series of numbers every day... Or no one is the one and its just a stunt pulled by the Pokemon company.
The ghost girl in X and Y was probably some unfinished haunted location like the mansions in the past. Somebody was working on this and realized that there was not enough time to impliment it but kept the event in to create more attention around the game. People love bizarre mysteries.
And the connections between the 108 ghosts that Hisuian Typhlosion controls and its extinction and then came Spiritomb with 108 ghosts trapped inside him... also H.Typh purifies ghosts and in Legends Arceus there's a giant Odd Keystone, is that relate in some way? Because is so specific.
X and Y are due for remakes. Furthermore, Paldea seems to bump up against Kalos. Maybe we’ll get a side quest this time around. I personally think the Ghost Girl was who the note was written to/for. The “one” she is looking for is the person she should meet. The location is the usual spot.
There's another Hex Maniac//it might be the same one. In XY, in a different Town(?) who, when you speak to her, will tell you to be quiet, she's trying to listen for the elevator. And the Ghost Girl you talked about is found at the elevator
If the leaks taught us anything, GF has whole explanations for these things, but by the time the game gets to market they either get cut or TPCi thinks it’s off brand and hides the truth- even though the details themselves make it into the game without explanation.
There's a mystery attached to every Spiritomb that exists in the main series. Including Cynthia's, especially with how in the original DPPt games, it has a unique sprite lacking the Odd Keystone.
@@hanakoisbestgirl4752 If I remember correctly, the Odd Keystone was a separate layer in Gen 4, which the game was programmed not to load for Cynthia's Spiritomb.
7:33 I believe it’s Banette in a human girl disguise trying to find the person who abandoned it, and either remembers who the person was or doesn’t remember and and only sense if the person in front of the door is the one or not
With the ghost girl, I can only imagine out of all the x and y games sold there are maybe 2 Cartridges that would have said, “you are the one” or something like that for each respective version, and they were destined to battle each other at a certain time to prove who is better, but this is me just making a random theory that’s probably not true
the ghost girl trend started in bw2 with the strange house outside of lentimas town that gives you the lunar wing. also theres an argument to be made for dppt's old chateau where you can see people in the adjacent rooms
I always wondered if the ghost girl was actually checking for a secret ID in the game and someone out there actually has a save file that triggers something Probably some random 5 year old that didn't even know the difference
Maybe the note on the station is related to the ghost girl? As in she was either the one to write the note and waits at their "old hideout" for her friend and the "it's not you" means that you're not the one she waits for... Or she got offed (either in the building or got brought there by some ghost trainer) and checks everyone to find her killer? Alternatively, she's the one the note was directed to... Which isn't very probable, since she'd prob. remove the note before going anywhere... Unless she was already dead, that is. In that case the building can have some more mysteries to find
Pokemon is just trying to create mysteries every game cause news mystery helped pokemon go big on the playground. So mysteries like these fuel little children's imaginations and gets them to talk about and explore the game.
I think that Ghost girl event and Lumiouse Station billboard note event are related in some way or another. From my thinking:- The ghost girl(when she was alive)and her friend or someone with her were traveling to somewhere from Lumiouse Station and they were separated due some incident and the one with the ghost girl writes a note on the back of the billboard hoping the ghost girl will read it and come to their usual place which was the hotel's 2nd floor and then the one waited for ghost girl in the hotel but she never came when ghost girl was dead, she has eventually read the note and wait for 'The one' for years logically haunting the 2nd floor. Just a theory!?😑
Lumiouse Train Station Note was written by Sycamore, it was like an easter egg of his own believe, it was confirmed in Pokémon Masters, check it out yourself
for the x and y parts, i think there leaked because she couldve been waiting for the person at the usual place (referring to ghost girl) and then she realises that ur not the one (defeats the whole purpose of the ghost thing)
the note mystery already solved if you play Pokémon Masters it was confirmed that Sycamore was the one wrote that note behind the billboard in Lumiouse Station
@@jean-pierrebenzenique this raises another question, why did he write it and to whom was it addressed? This also raises the question of why did he never return?
Black & White and Black 2 & White 2 had a ghost girl before X & Y. BW in the Marvelous Bridge and B2W2 in the Strange House. So if anything the trend of having one in every following gen started with Gen 5. But even then Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum also had a ghost girl in the Old Chateau.
I always thought the secret note was a nod to kingdom hearts 2, where the station also had some significance to the story also the train station looks a bit similar to the one in KDH2, the usual spot/place was the backally hideout of roxas and friends 😅
I have a theory about the Lumiose city mysteries, "the one" is the person who wrote the note but they were too late and that is why the ghost girl is a ghost. I think that the elevator is the "usual spot" and that is why she waits there for the one and leaves when it isn't the right person. Its possible she is vengeful towards the one who took too long.
I wonder if the Odd Keystone in Twinleaf has to do with Mesprit and the lake. It's nearby, and it contains a very powerful Pokemon, who is not only discussed in myths for ages, but also known as the "Being of Emotion." It could have been that someone was trying to harvest Mesprit and/or the entire Lake Trio into this Odd Keystone, either hoping to gain control over humans through eliminating what amounts to their personalities, emotion, willpower, and finally knowledge, to create a region of mind-controlled slaves, or it could be connected to the one at Sea Mauville, in the "Infinity Energy" schemes, because the Lake Trio are very powerful Pokemon. Whoever tried clearly failed, and fled south to Twinleaf, hiding away the evidence before either escaping or possibly being taken down by Mesprit and its army of Bidoof. It's kind of a shame we didn't get more answers to Sinnoh mysteries in Legends Arceus. I feel like the Legends could very easily become a successful series because fans love the concept of visiting their favorite regions in different time periods. A big part of that is the chance to both answer questions about the main series games, and to raise more. It might even be interesting for them to expand the idea and run a Legends game set in Kalos set a much shorter time in the past, where they could answer some of those questions. There's nothing that says the games MUST be the same formula as Arceus; Pokemon tweaks their "formula" with each new main series release, so why not with Legends? Maybe a dozen years ago, maybe more, Kalos stands more or less how it does in XY, but the player character is able to change the outcome of certain events and trigger new circumstances. They could meet Sycamore as a kid, maybe even as their rival or a helpful NPC. They could be "the right one" for the ghost girl, maybe even save her. They could find the message at the train station, perhaps "the usual place" is that room and the ghost girl was wounded or ill and PC is able to save her in time. The player could save some people, like her, yet also be in some way involved in whatever brings about the game's climax. The events could shape the mind of a young Lysander and sway him to make different choices when he grows up.. GameFreak, if you see this and like the idea, before you just steal it please reach out cause I could write a whole game's story on the mysteries of the Kalos region!
In regards to Kalos. I would love a Pokémon Horror game that forces you to try and solve mysteries about dead humans or Pokémon that have turned into ghost types
The UB from Pokemon S/M and US/UM are still unexplained and frankly why haven't we gotten a cool sci fi game with Looker as the professer giving you a UB Starter.
Maybe someone hid the off keystone in twin leaf to protect it from getting in the wrong hands Like how in some movies a hero hides a special artifact with unimaginable power that could create or destroy and is hidden in safe keeping to keep it from the wrong hands maybe it’s like that
I think that the "who is the one?" question is kinda wrong. We should be asking, "why aren't we the one?" If we assume that no character that appeared as of gen 6 is the one, we could look in all that they have in common and figure out at least the criteria for *not* being the one
If we ever get pokémon z or something like legend Arceus for Kalos, maybe we'll find or be the one For the legend Arceus game style, maybe we could find this girl alive and learn more about it
@@Blackdrill tbh I don't think they are ghost girls I see them more as a possessed girl that can see the future Also the legends style wouldn't make sense because if in that game there is the one then they wouldn't still be searching them in the present
Calyrex breaking the horses makes me think that Calyrex might have ties to breaking in the Tauros (bullfighting) in the region based on Spain ( which might explains it's various forms).
click here to start the video 00:29 Meltan/Melmetal are from our world 03:14 why Gmax Calorex is blue 05:24 ghost girl in XY 08:10 secret note in XY 11:12 odd keystone
I’ve always assumed the reason Calyrex glows blue is that it doesn’t need to technically rely on Eternatus’ power. The band may allow it to Dynamax, but it doesn’t actually need to use any of the ‘Dynamax energy’ itself. Or it’s just using its psychic power to create an astral form maybe?
Calyrex having a blue aura was really interesting to see back then a few years ago! Maybe he actually is able to generate and use dynamax energy without Eternatus' help, kinda like how Solagleo, Lunala and Necrozma can all generate ultra wormholes although they are different pokemon. Perhaps that's something we'll find out about in a legends galar game many years down the line.
you want to know the answer of that note? play Pokémon Masters it was all clearly referenced in Xerneas’s Legendary Event, Serena and Sycamore talk about it there
@@jean-pierrebenzenique You probably already know this by now but Sycamore is talking about the one in Couriway Town which is the one with waterfalls immediately after Anistar City. I don't know, but it would be wonderful if you can boast that you're living each day to its fullest. To future Sycamore. From the Sycamore dreaming of the future." What he says in Pokemon Masters that Serena comments on is: "That's why I wrote myself a message --- a message to my future self --- asking if I've become what I wanted to be." unless I missed a scene or quote somewhere.
I'm fairly certain the Abbas giant in SwSh is a gigantamax toxtricity, it has the transmission tower shaped tail and everything, and all the smaller creatures around it have two eyes, not one. More likely to be stand-ins for people, normal toxtricity or toxel.

The note behind the time table is linked to the ghost girl. She was waiting from the note writer in that building the reason she said your not the one is because she's waiting for her friend. I assume they were being hunted down by unknown assailants and both were killed before they could meet up.
I wonder if the Ghost Girl is the person waiting for whoever left the “getting help” note. That would explain the “No, you’re not the one.” Since she’s clearly waiting for someone-someone who never returned from whatever danger they were in.
I've always wondered if the Lumiose Ghost Girl had to do with a specific Trainer ID/Secret ID combination, and just no one has ever had the correct ten-digit identifier to trigger the event.
The ghost girl has been a thing for way longer than X/Y. In DPPt, you have the little ghost girl in Old Chateau and Route 217. And in B/W on the Marvelous Bridge. Also the text behind the board is part of the Looker and Emma sidequest iirc.
What if Melmetal changing colors means it’s from Johto? It’s right next to Kanto where it randomly appeared, it’s color changes from silver to gold, and it would make sense that Let’s Go Johto would be the next games in the series. Also Johto doesn’t have any steel type legendaries
@@minaashido518 The candidates I think works best are Marill and Tyrogue. One is a 2 stage that got a pre-evolution in the next gen (pikachu and marill) and the other is a pokemon with 3 evolutions in that generation that is impossible to obtain outside of gifts (eevee and tyrogue). I also think Togepi would be a good pokemon to replace Tyrogue with if we were to be going with more "iconic" Johto pokémon, but considering how weak it is the partner togepi would need serious buffs for gf to actually expect people to use it throughout the game. It's kinda hard to get a good first stage Johto Pokémon that works for being an unevolvable partner because of how weak gen 2 mons tend to be. Maybe they'd just do Ho-oh and Lugia and just give us the regular Johto starters.

Gen 7 was not the region to introduce the concept of new or alternative worlds. During the Delta Episode Zinnia literally talks about gen 3 Hoenn and how they wouldn't be able to avoid the meteor. Gen 6's reflection cave leads to an alternative dimension. The distortion world of gen 5 is an alternative dimension and world for Giratina. The Unown have been theorized in game to come from another world. There's so much before Alola that has to do with other worlds.
I tend to believe that the ghost girl of Lumiose City was probably on the lines of being answered in a sequel game, that ultimately got cancelled as mentioned in the video. Evidence likely based on the ghost girl on the marvelous bridge in gen 5 in the first pair of games BW to the same ghost from Lentimas Town/Scary House (which was only available in B2W2) up until its release we had no idea what the connection was for her to appear either. Keep in mind this was a generation before the release of Gen 6 where this also happens. Due to the cancellation of the games, Game Freak may have changed their pattern to try and solve the mystery of the ghost girls in the same game in the event a situation like Gen 6 happens again. The note left in the train station is likely connected to this as well, as provided from other popular theories too.

This happens in nature a lot, and would mean that Melmetal’s changes in Cerulean Cave would mean that the crystals there are heavily radioactive.
Update: In 1941 a test to synthesize gold from mercury was done and it was a success. It was achieved by bombarding the mercury with neutrons; however, the gold created couldn’t be used as it was heavily radioactive.
I wonder how that would effect reds health
Well if it's mercury then hugging it would probably kill you
This could’ve been caused by mewtwo or, more likely, was the reason mewtwo came there in the first place. Seeking out an isolated place would lead it to a dangerously radioactive cave, which no sane person would venture very far into.

My guess would be that the X/Y Mysteries were supposed to be sidequests for Looker and Emma.

My theory on Calyrex is that they're purifying Eternatus' power, making it so they can't be be made to rampage while dynamaxed.
Actually the reason is it uses its own power to Dyna Max

Hex Maniac trying to become a ghost so it can be a Ghost Pokemon probably
It's what I'd do as I'm a real life Hex Maniac

I was thinking it had to do with the royalty

Those one's could be explained.
Considering she’s now a ghost and uses the hex maniac model, my theory is that she was being hunted by some sort of ghost Pokémon, which ultimately took her life whilst she was waiting for her friend to arrive at the “usual place.”
However, this then begs the question: What happened to the Ghost Girl’s friend that prevented them from being help for her?

The mystery still linger in my mind, especially with the "you're not the one"
The biggest secret I'd like answered is who were the people who make up Spiritomb and what did they do to be trapped in the first place; all we have is one side's story but who's to say they said what they wanted to be told so they could be seen as in the right. In Legends we meet one of the souls and she's a child: what could a child have possibly done to be punished like that and who's to say more children aren't more souls that make up Spiritomb. For all we know the people who make up Spiritomb were just victims who others wanted to get rid of because they had something others wanted or just wanted to get rid of without getting their hands dirty. After all people can be cruel.
It makes it even weirder because that child also has absolutely no rude dialogue how could she do anything bad
Maybe she sacrificed herself to bind it. Like, shes the thing holding the other 104(or so) spirits together in the Odd Keystone.
It must be for immortality testing using orphan children that nobody will miss or remember as test subjects. Testing how it works effect the souls, going to preserve theme etc etc got the idea from hundreds of stories about killing childrens in video games like five nights at Freddy's and poppy play time
We have "tried as an adult" laws for a reason...

Oh man legends za has so much potential with these mysteries and other stuff. I cant wait 😭
Someone already mentioned the mercury reacting to radiation thing for why Melmetal changes colors like that but I think the actual development reason is that the texture messes up when it gets near that little crystal light source and it just changes to match the hex nut
1:56 Gen 7 wasn't the first to identify alternative universe, in gen 6, Zinnia talks about world with out pokemon
The Spiritomb mystery in particular creeps me out. Was someone planning for something horrible to happen in Twinleaf town? Did we thwart it by taking the Odd Keystone away? We may never find out...
I played the original Diamond and Pearl when they were released and I had no idea that you could find the Odd Keystone in Twinleaf Town!? Wow!
We actually had a ghost girl in black and white, and black and white 2. She was killed by darkri I believe
And in gen 4 with the Old Chateau.
And the giltch ghost girl in crystal
I just assumed it was using its harvest power to literally “grow”
There is also a “Hex maniac” in the hotel in Lumios city when interacting with her she will say something like “Be quiet, im listening for the elevator” so it leads me to believe that its connected to the “Ghost girl” in the office, or the more likely one is its the recipient of the train station note.
Maybe Meltan and Melmetal are actually ultra beasts that haven't been properly identified?
On another note, Ghost Girls have been a thing in pokemon for a LONG TIME, and the ghost girl in Pokemon Black and White 2 even had a story you could uncover.

After all, Eternatus using cross poison uses the trailing wing tips to attack like whips.

And that is why I think Mega's should stay, it gives older Pokemon a second chance at life if their usage was just fully shafted
In the clips with melmetal changing color, it only does so when it steps onto the lights beaming onto the floor.

It's a dang lighting error.
The location is the usual spot.

the ghost girl trend started in bw2 with the strange house outside of lentimas town that gives you the lunar wing. also theres an argument to be made for dppt's old chateau where you can see people in the adjacent rooms
I always wondered if the ghost girl was actually checking for a secret ID in the game and someone out there actually has a save file that triggers something
Probably some random 5 year old that didn't even know the difference
I think a dataminer could confirm whether or not there is any connection involving her event and your trainer ID

It's nearby, and it contains a very powerful Pokemon, who is not only discussed in myths for ages, but also known as the "Being of Emotion."
It could have been that someone was trying to harvest Mesprit and/or the entire Lake Trio into this Odd Keystone, either hoping to gain control over humans through eliminating what amounts to their personalities, emotion, willpower, and finally knowledge, to create a region of mind-controlled slaves, or it could be connected to the one at Sea Mauville, in the "Infinity Energy" schemes, because the Lake Trio are very powerful Pokemon.
Eternatus is supposed to be an alien from another place, right? Maybe Calyrex is from the same place.
The same ghost girl can be seen in the ghost tower thing before the safari zone in omega ruby/ alpha sapphire.
What is there to explain? They are pokémon from other dimensions. That's all.
The Ghost Girl + “wait in the usual place” feels like a scrapped Quest, possibly even for a Scrapped Halloween Event
Maybe someone hid the off keystone in twin leaf to protect it from getting in the wrong hands
Like how in some movies a hero hides a special artifact with unimaginable power that could create or destroy and is hidden in safe keeping to keep it from the wrong hands maybe it’s like that
Or if the theory that the player character from legends Archeus is Dawn/Lucas then it could already be a spiritomb waiting
@@Tyleregor4588 And there's one person with a Spiritomb who would have a vested interest in shaping the future of that person...
7:55 where do these scenes and art come from
I think that the "who is the one?" question is kinda wrong. We should be asking, "why aren't we the one?"
If we assume that no character that appeared as of gen 6 is the one, we could look in all that they have in common and figure out at least the criteria for *not* being the one
If we ever get pokémon z or something like legend Arceus for Kalos, maybe we'll find or be the one
For the legend Arceus game style, maybe we could find this girl alive and learn more about it
@@Blackdrill tbh I don't think they are ghost girls
I see them more as a possessed girl that can see the future
Also the legends style wouldn't make sense because if in that game there is the one then they wouldn't still be searching them in the present
Maybe we'll find out in Legends ZA
Calyrex breaking the horses makes me think that Calyrex might have ties to breaking in the Tauros (bullfighting) in the region based on Spain ( which might explains it's various forms).

The biggest mystery of Pokémon: why Dunsparce is not a Dragon type
Dunsparce needs some regional variant love
@@OfficialFedHater agreed
Just wait until scarlet and violet
@@frathousemovies we’ll see
Cuz it's not a Dragon ?
Ghost girls didn’t originate in Kalos. Unova also had their own ghost girl
This + a little call back to royals being referred to a blue blooded
Calyrex having a blue aura was really interesting to see back then a few years ago! Maybe he actually is able to generate and use dynamax energy without Eternatus' help, kinda like how Solagleo, Lunala and Necrozma can all generate ultra wormholes although they are different pokemon.
Perhaps that's something we'll find out about in a legends galar game many years down the line.
Maybe when the time comes for the remakes of X and Y, we could get answers to both the ghost girl and that note?
you want to know the answer of that note? play Pokémon Masters
it was all clearly referenced in Xerneas’s Legendary Event, Serena and Sycamore talk about it there
@@jean-pierrebenzenique You probably already know this by now but Sycamore is talking about the one in Couriway Town which is the one with waterfalls immediately after Anistar City. On the bench at the train station it reads:
"To the person reading this. What are you like now? Did you become who you wanted to be? For starters, what was the person you wanted to become even like? I don't know, but it would be wonderful if you can boast that you're living each day to its fullest. To future Sycamore. From the Sycamore dreaming of the future."
What he says in Pokemon Masters that Serena comments on is:
"That's why I wrote myself a message --- a message to my future self --- asking if I've become what I wanted to be." unless I missed a scene or quote somewhere.
I’m pretty sure the ghost girl predates XY & is also seen in BW/BW2
I am surprised you didn't mention how Gigantamax Melmetal is also the Abbas Giant in Sword and Shield.
Huh, a nobody has been attacked by a scam bot today, neat.
Yeah right.. why is his acc name different.. why is he writing from a channel with no subscribers and has "1" added to his Telegram.. so fishy
I'm fairly certain the Abbas giant in SwSh is a gigantamax toxtricity, it has the transmission tower shaped tail and everything, and all the smaller creatures around it have two eyes, not one. More likely to be stand-ins for people, normal toxtricity or toxel.
@@MsTerkup i don't doubt it, but I do recall an image similar to the Giant but a Lizard. I only know that because Yugioh made a card archetype out of the Giants. They suck though.
@@HypercomboProduction I can't seem to find any real-life Abbas giant lizard, and Pokémon only has the one. Are you sure you're not confusing it with the Nazca Lines, which do have one with a lizard motif?
3:38 Yes we did. It Dynamaxes under its own power, hence the blue aura. It doesn’t use the purple energy left behind by Eternatus like all other Pokémon do
That's not outright stated, just a theory. A GAME -
@@DarthMolgy No it’s stated on the website for the Crown Tundra expansion
The note behind the time table is linked to the ghost girl. She was waiting from the note writer in that building the reason she said your not the one is because she's waiting for her friend. I assume they were being hunted down by unknown assailants and both were killed before they could meet up.
Are you just assuming this? Or is there actual evidence?
no they are not
Sycamore was the one wrote that note behind the billboard in Lumiouse Station, it was confirmed in Pokémon Masters
@@jean-pierrebenzenique doesnt mean the note wasn't meant for the ghost girl.
it was meant to his self, he wrote that note in the past
I wonder if the Ghost Girl is the person waiting for whoever left the “getting help” note. That would explain the “No, you’re not the one.” Since she’s clearly waiting for someone-someone who never returned from whatever danger they were in.
I've always wondered if the Lumiose Ghost Girl had to do with a specific Trainer ID/Secret ID combination, and just no one has ever had the correct ten-digit identifier to trigger the event.
The need for that for be in the code and I'm sure people have looked to see if a certain combo would he needed if it was there
The ghost girl has been a thing for way longer than X/Y.
But what Pokémon would let’s go johto even be? Like for pikachu just use a pika-clone but Eevee would need a counterpart for it as well
@@minaashido518 The candidates I think works best are Marill and Tyrogue.
@Hoopsandhiphop
@2:56 it’s a reference to the regi-trio
Turns brown/gold in reference to Regirock, despite normally being Grey/metal to symbolize Registeel, while next to the blue/icy crystals that symbolize Regice.
Pokemon z is now out (hooray) so what if they actually answer some of the questions from the ghost girl and note from xy
It’s not out it’s revealed
@@aRookieGod yep i understand that. When i said “out” i mean that its the confirmed new mainline game.
Oh well, if they ever remake Gen 6 games let's hope they provide some closures on these questions for then.
Neat analysis video! Thanks for uploading!
