I just saw the band live and the opening of "I Miss the Misery" was an amazing single note scream that felt like she held it for minutes. It was a thing of beauty!

I saw Halestorm live for the first time at Hellfest this year. She is the vocal goddess. During their set I caught myself crying just because I was so overwhelmed by the emotions and drive that she was radiating from stage!

Lzzy just looks like she's having a blast. Her vocals just keep getting more insanely powerful. Arejay matches her intensity, and Josh and Joe slay.
Everyone bugging about her screaming, you should be looking at her last note. Sweet clean vibrato after 4 minutes of distorted singing... that's where the talent shows...
I love her voice, I think her scream is awesome. There's been other artists like her. She has to practice the crap out of that probably.

You do know that vocals are pretty much never recorded as a single take right?
The common approach these days is to record line by line and then comping the best takes of each into a cohesive whole.
Modern recordings, and this especially goes for modern metal recordings, are so post production heavy that you shouldn’t „trust“ any of the performances at all.
That’s not necessarily a bad thing at all, but the only thing that really counts is if a band can pull it off live.

This band is one of the few that’s keeping the true spirit of rock ‘n’ roll alive. Absolutely top notch!
Lizzy had me by the first '...got my wicked ways!', holy crap what a voice, she's something special, no-one, I mean NO-ONE sounds like this. Brilliant band, a force of nature. Love it.
I recommend you check out Daria Stavrovich, you might like her! She and Izzy are two of my favorite female singers, both with a crazy voice and skills 🔥

Platinum moon AVA did a small short of wicked ways which is what brought me to halestorm *which I never listened to before* she's amazing aswell.

Met these guys in 2010 when they opened for ax7 and disturbed, stone sour played after them….one of the greatest concerts I’ve ever seen, all 4 bands blew it away.
Lzzy Hale is EXACTLY what rock needs right now….and that’s REAL talent….her voice is beyond amAzing. Can’t wait to see them in Tucson this week.

Lzzy is thee MOST aggressive female rock vocalist of ALL time, along with her signature screams. Halestorm as a whole are thee MOST underrated rock band, EVER. Perfect performance, as always. Everything hard rock SHOULD be.
There are way more aggressive female vocalists out there. And they are very popular, nowhere near underrated.

Don't get me wrong here, Halestorm is great (like a metal Paramore.. old school Paramore) but Lzzy is not the most aggressive female rock vocalist by a long shot. If you want a current comparison just check out Tatiana of Jinjer or Courtney LaPlante of Spiritbox or even Brittany from Unleash the Archers. Again, no shade on Halestorm, but if you want to leave the confines of this level of rock for something far more metal, I'd check those two gals out. They are AMAZING.

I just saw Halestorm recently for the first time, and WOW does Lzzy have a set of pipes. She really has a great voice that you need to hear live to truly appreciate it.

I definitively wasn't into hard rock, except evanescence and the old groups from the 70's and the 80's, but i've discovered totally by mistake, Halestorm. I was listening "Here's to us" by Glee, and i wanted to hear the original version, and i felt totally in love with Halestorm music and song + Lizzy Hale has a wonderful voice, and talent on piano and guitare. And i've learned that she's writing not only the music, but also the lyrics. I'am totally amazed, and i'm definitively a new fan

Halestorm is definitely my personal discovery of this year. For some mysterious reason the youtube algorithm thought I might enjoy mongolian throat singing and suggested "Song of Women" to me. I instantly searched for more "Halestorm", and I have not been disappointed so far. Great band, and Lzzys voice is absolutely fantastic.

Halestorm has been the top female led rock band for quite a while now. In my opinion, Halestorm and mainly Lzzy Hale saved the “rocker chick “ movement. Without them, I fear there would have been no more female led rock bands. Definitely look up The Pretty Reckless. They are right up there with Halestorm and the singer is Taylor Momsen aka Cindy Lou Who from Jim Carey’s The Grinch .

Not just the band is amazing. The FANS are amazing. Halestorm creates an amazing enviroment at their shows. It feels like you're there with your best friends with total strangers. It feels safe and fun even with everything vibrating and any mosh pit that kicks up. I've never experienced any other band that has such an awesome fanbase live and is encouraged to be awesome by the band. Not just Halestorm, but any act they work with seems to just add to this amazing experience.
My first show I went to for Halestorm it was so chill that people were handing their money up a chain line to the bar along with their orders, then getting their order AND the correct change back.
My second show I was jumping and getting into it, couldn't see but had the hands up, and clocked a stranger in the nose. His response? To help get me and the shorter people to the front and to prop us up with his shoulder and knees so we could see until we got to a good place.
100% a GEM.

I’ve been to exactly one concert in my life. It was a happy circumstance that the place I was living at the time (Naval Station Great Lakes) was having a 4th of July weekend long party, with live music every night. And on the 4th itself? Halestorm.
Right up against the stage, rocking out with Lizzie and the guys, my ear RIGHT NEXT to their woofer (yes I was half deaf for the next three days, worth it!) was one of the BEST experiences I’ve ever had.
Oh, and it was perfectly capped off by Josh flicking a bunch of guitar picks into the crowd. One with his name landed right in front of me. My name is ALSO Josh. I still have it to this day.
I hope I can see them again someday ❤️❤️❤️
