Like me, my neighbor Dan is young at heart, at 66. So I visited Dan and asked them to play this video, which he did not know anything about. He was glued to it until the end, and told me: "She has power. And take a look at how they use instruments not designed for heavy metal." Indeed, the beginning of this beautiful song is perfect, a sound not heard in metal but so nice: I listen to it with tears in my eyes, not once for dozens of times. Halestorm, please pen more songs like this one. I call it fusion music, as I hear a little of other bands blended; a far away echo of Maroon 5, a bit of Sixx am, wow! And I am a big fan of Epica, so for a song to move me like this, it has to be amazing, as this track indeed is. Plus Epica really does not have even one video as coherent and beautiful as this one, super! And the lyric: "screaming like a siren, my heart cauterized," how beautiful.
See Lzzy is very empowering for women. As where Floor helped undermine the woman before her and was involved with her getting fired. So shes the opposite of female empowerment.
Lzzy's voice makes me want to eat life. That power is amazing and what a talent. To be able to write a song knowing her voice is going to sing it... wow, that would be amazing
To everyone, anything that gives hope is worth holding onto, and fighting is not for everyone, but if you have one thing in life you love without a doubt in your mind, that is worth fighting for........
I promise to myself, me and NO ONE else! It's profound to rebuild an abusive and painful relationship with yourself. But nothing in life that's worth it is easy, and if it's easy it's usually not worth it
This song has become my daily meditation to get all the crap I was told- OUT of my head and finally believe in myself... for the first time. Thanks Lzzy, for sharing your insane gift with the world 💜

Halestorm is true Rock & Roll. Izzy is freaking awesome and the whole band is a living testament to what good rock music is all about. Long may you play and rock out.
i read someone's comment on this clip video a few years back I never forgot it. It went something like this. "I would love to be her child and get her mad at me to hear her scream at me" I love it. Me too! I love it.
This song feels like somebody just coming to understand their own awesome strength. Like one of the young X-men characters when they learn to control their gift rather than fearing it, and transform from "insecure odd freak" to Invincible Superhero. In the last chorus when she sings "I Am The Fire" I get fucking chills. A combination of excitement, FEAR and absolute amazement. This is some powerful shit.
What a voice. What a range, dammit. I listen to Halestorm for like about ten years now and still can't get over how impressive Lzzy's vocals are. Beautiful and harsh at the same time. Possibly the best female singer in rock/metal business. Yeah, she really is.

@@ryant1626 her vocal control is good and Audio technology is better these days so singers aren't as likely to blow out their vocal chords :)
Although strickland didn't win...the 1st 30 seconds of the promo, man💣💣
What a voice!!! Fantastic song😮
Lzzy is like the front runner for female empowerment. Lots of strong women in rock but she just crushes it.
fuck u seriously have u heard nightwish
Joan jett
+arcee parton she is unique but joan jet wish she had lzzy's voice
+Matt Sellors Both Floor and Lzzy are awesome . Halestorm more metal
ock where Nightwish are symphonic metal.
See Lzzy is very empowering for women. As where Floor helped undermine the woman before her and was involved with her getting fired. So shes the opposite of female empowerment.
My Older Brother William was 18 years old and I was 14 years old when "I Am The Fire" by Halestorm was out on March the 31st of 2015.
Lzzy's voice makes me want to eat life. That power is amazing and what a talent. To be able to write a song knowing her voice is going to sing it... wow, that would be amazing
This is probably the most empowering song I’ve heard in life…I can feel it in my soul..:
Lzzy sings her ass off in every song she sings
+tomfooleryx517x And an ass it is
And she's still got plenty to go around
SCREAMING LIKE A SIREN!!!!
Yup, Yup Yup, Yup.
And just think.. The tour 300 days a year so imagine how much work really goes into that., Wheeew
Wonder what that feels like...currently and for many years it feels like im..on fire, cannot take much more.
WHAT A VOICE !!!!!!!
Didn't even know this song had anything to do with supernatural. Loll just wanted to see her sing
My dad was listening to it on the radio, so I decided to check it out 😂😂😂😂
I saw Lzzy Hale on one of watchmojo's top 10 lists and now I'm a fan.
Same
Lockantshortalla Koornasrak what kind of radio plays this kind of stuff?
Same lol
Lets go Seannn!!!
To everyone, anything that gives hope is worth holding onto, and fighting is not for everyone, but if you have one thing in life you love without a doubt in your mind, that is worth fighting for........
Her vocal skills are on fire in this song. It's the song that showcases it perfectly and shows how far she can go. What her voice is capable of.
I am more than this...a promise I made to myself and no one else....
This song is honestly my personal anthem for when I'm in need of a little self empowerment. Thank you, Lzzy!
Mine too
its my power up song too ;) its just pure energy
"Here's to us" is good
It is an anthem.
Exactly this comment I was looking for,me too
Sean Strickland made this song relevant even after 8 years.
I promise to myself, me and NO ONE else! It's profound to rebuild an abusive and painful relationship with yourself. But nothing in life that's worth it is easy, and if it's easy it's usually not worth it
Beautifully said!! 🤍
12 days sober after a relapse. I had made it 10 months but I am not letting my relapse define me. I am the fire that will shine once again.
🤍🔥
This song has become my daily meditation to get all the crap I was told- OUT of my head and finally believe in myself... for the first time. Thanks Lzzy, for sharing your insane gift with the world 💜
I feel the same
DITTO!!!
Ufc got good taste
For me it was Lindsey Sterling's "Shatter Me" that introduced me to Lzzy Hale and Halestorm
Two powerful and talented ladies.
Two gifts from God to us.
Just found Stirling tonight. Roundtable Rival was awesome. Might I recommend "two girls one harp" doing Metallica's "One" - ua-cam.com/video/JhOhGhq0e54/v-deo.html
Same
Thank God I'm not the only one
Same
Halestorm is true Rock & Roll. Izzy is freaking awesome and the whole band is a living testament to what good rock music is all about. Long may you play and rock out.
Actually her name is LIZZY!
What a tune 🔥🔥
She’s definitely the fire!!! Love this video, love the band, love this song, and love her voice. Amazing talent!
Same here!! 🔥🤘🔥 Love Halestorm!! 🤍🤎🤍
That is an INSANE vocal !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The last 2 minutes of this video is just one of the best rock vocals I have ever heard - just off the charts
Sound garden Jesus pose
I heard this song for the first time today,my training partner recommended it.I ran without feeling my face.......Thank You Renata Szakala 💗
It just give me the energy to go step forward for another year
This drummer is FIRE too. He's totally killing it!
🥁🔥🔥🔥
she absolutely crushed this
The bridge always give me the chills...what a voice!
i read someone's comment on this clip video a few years back I never forgot it. It went something like this. "I would love to be her child and get her mad at me to hear her scream at me" I love it. Me too! I love it.
LOL!!!
Vengo de parte de UFC 297, promoción Seal of Dana White Final Boss & Strickland the Man productions😂
I love the way she screams.... The rage in her voice😍
AMEN!!!!!
My favorite song by you all honestly
What a voice. What a range, dammit. I listen to Halestorm for like about ten years now and still can't get over how impressive Lzzy's vocals are. Beautiful and harsh at the same time. Possibly the best female singer in rock/metal business. Yeah, she really is.
