When I first heard this, I was nearly thrown to the floor by the amount of emotion coming from Lindsey's violin and Lzzy's vocals. Thank you for making this song; it's beautiful.
Everytime I watch this I catch more and more details. I absolutely love how it goes from the ballerina being content only to see something beautiful and tries, too early, too soon, and in the wrong way, to get there. And how she wakes up the second time, the way her head shakes like she's not ready. And the bat showing it might be scary out here, but as the butterfly, shows it's still beautiful despite the fear. How the ballerina uses her own strength (the violin) to escape, despite how it appears the cracking in her skin is painful and terrifying. How her stance changes from the static perfect pose to something more dynamic. The moment she hesitates, hand to her cheek, as if she thinks she can go back to the safety that is killing her... And deciding to shatter instead, showing a less than perfect person underneath but free. Dancing as she wants to. And finally seeing the outside world as it is
Playing violin is not that easy. You need to have a true enthusiasm for it and a creative mind. I have been learning to play violin since 2014 but I am yet to create good melodies. Every time I listen to Lindsey's tracks, I feel how amazingly good she is!
I completely agree. I've been playing violin for five years through school, I've come nowhere close to be half this. You just need to keep at it, and practice does in fact make perfect. (even if I don't do it nearly as much as I should)
Sombra Unknown Yes, she is a great singer and musician. Have you check her other songs? She is my favourite vocalist. Her band (Halestorm) is my favourite group band/ rock group/ group with frontwoman all the time. 😊
Elite Thinker actually I haven't but I am a real fan of her voice and the way she uses it. Its so unique. I deffinetly will check out other songs. Thx!😄😊
Sombra Unknown You will not regret it. FYI her band just release a new song and new album will be release soon. But I suggest you to check their old songs/ albums first. You are welcome. 😊
Lindsey Stirling was six years old when she began begging for violin lessons. She began getting 15 minute lessons, which no one thought she could learn from, but she mastered it. It was all their family could afford. Much longer later, she joined a rock band and began experimenting with different types of music, and began earning money for collage by performing. Later, she performed in America's Got Talent, but didn't do very well. But she wouldn't give up. Then, Lindsey was introduced to Devin Graham, who kick-stared her career. Lindsey quoted, ''He changed my life. He taught me everything I needed to know about UA-cam.'' It was a while later when Lindsey realized that she was suffering from anorexia, an eating disorder, sometimes very deadly. She noticed that something was wrong with her, and she was becoming very depressed. Finally, she found help and recovered from it. This video is about her suffering of anorexia, and how she had to turn back from her life of being a perfect ballerina. It was hard and scary, but she finally broke through the glass by doing what she loved to do: Playing violin. And on the other side of that glass that she had suffocated her self in for too long, she found what she had been looking for. A whole new world. She finally found happiness. Cheers to you, Lindsey. If you really read through all of that, thanks. Wow this is a long comment.
zoe copenhaver Wasn't the eating disorder during college before her music career? I though she had already overcome that when she started to work with Devin.
I just saw Lindsey in concert and it was INCREDIBLE. There's actually such a deep story behind this: Lindsey struggled with body image and anorexia for years... She constantly was trying to be perfect and was killing herself inside but tried to appear content (the porcelain ballerina). She realized that perfection was suffocating her and she'd have to break out, even if it meant cracking through years of work for perfection, in order to be happy and free.(:
I started playing the violin a year ago. I had been wanting to start playing ever since I first heard this song. The violin wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be, and I struggled with many things (such as getting my bow straight, intonation, timing, and many other things), but I didn’t want to quit. I kept listening to Lindsey Stirling’s songs to give me motivation, so that I wouldn’t even think about stopping. The only way people can achieve great things is if they work for it. Currently, I am in the Honors Orchestra at my school. That is the highest orchestra you can be in- and just as I thought when I first started- it wasn’t going to be easy. Just two months ago, I was really having a hard time with orchestra. My grade was lowering, and I didn’t even feel like playing. The transition between beginner orchestra and Honors orchestra was a HUGE ONE. I felt like I was lower than the rest of my classmates because they had more playing experience than I did. ...then I found this song again. After listening to this, I felt that spark of motivation I had when I started. I knew I had to push myself and go past my limits to be like everyone else. I know that this sounds like a pretty fake story, but it’s 100% real. In a month, my orchestra is going to head to a few other schools to play. Either way, I really enjoy this song and it left a huge impact on my heart. Thank you, Lindsey! ❤️
I came across the Song in November 2019, and experienced the video January 2020. Needless to say, this is an amazing song with an striking video to boot
This has got to be one of my top favorite songs by Lindsey, if not THE top. And Lzzy is freaking insanely amazing with her vocals... Always. Her range is mind-blowing just in this piece alone. But the grit and push when she sings "Shatter me" & then again in the bridge gives me goosebumps every single time I put this song on... Which is a lot. These two need to do some more collabs bc they compliment one another so perfectly.
100% with you on the compliments. This song has long been a favorite for my kids and me and my sister and her kids discovered it independently. It's just amazing. That said, not sure they should regularly collab--part of Lindsey's talent and artistic integrity is developing her works organically from start to finish. Yeah, she uses her contacts, but it's about what fits the piece. I trust that if she develops another track that's good for Lzzy's vocals, Lindsey would make the right call.
I love your music nowadays you don't find many artists that play from the heart. Each of your song have a story behind them. I personally like shatter me, roundtable rival and hallelujah. Thank you for playing, don't let what others think change, use your music to change people for the good.
comeback here after 9 years, i cant believe how 9 years can make you a completely different person. I change after i hear this song 9 years ago. It gives me strength to keep living and chase the dream.. This song brings so many strength that keep me going. The message is beautiful. cant believe i was crying listening to this just like last time. Its very powerful, Lindsay is powerful. This will forever be my best motivational song!!
People thought dubstep on a violin was impossible, back in the day people thought turning heat into motion was impossible, but in the end, it only took a Stirling
I love this song and music video. It beautifully illustrates the concept of suffering with a mental health disorder. (Trigger Warning: mention of suicide, self harm and eating disorder). I really can relate to this. I know Lindsay Sterling wrote this to describe her eating disorder and eventual recovery, and I can definitely see this with my anxiety and past self harm and suicidal ideations. A couple of years ago, I didn’t want to get better or improve. I thought things would get worse if I stopped cutting myself. But now that I’m recovering and over a year clean, I can safely say that stopping and getting help was probably one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself. I have almost broken the glass and am ready to live a life worth living. While in recovery, I was/ am afraid of changing. I can definitely relate to the lyric, “if I break the glass then now I have to fly. There’s no one to catch me if I take a dive. I’m scared of change and the days stay the same.” That’s how I feel when learning to let go of my anxiety and fears.
Liz, you are an amazing person inside and out. Do I have to know you to know that? Not at all. The fact that you can come onto UA-cam and bear your heart and soul in a world of, well, negativity, and speak so freely speaks, no sings, true to your heart, strength, and courage. I like to come on here and read different comments on the videos of my favorite artists, especially knowing what some of these songs truly mean and connect with other human beings. Thank you for speaking. It is people like you that are the true heroes and that give faith and hope to others in (past or present) the same boat.
people who say treatment, counseling, talking about it overall getting help doesn't work has probably never been truly in that situation. Yes having the WANT within is the foremost important step but it's not sumthing you can really do alone, at least not of you have been suffering for a while. Plz get help you may need. it will HELP. it won't fix everything on its own but it's a very important step. my heart goes out to anyone who is battling a war within themselves. I know what is like. it's a life long battle but it will get easier overtime significantly. I can always give advice if you need it. bc having someone to talk to, to know you are not alone in this, helps with your mood/self esteem offers a lil reassurance, maybe motivation. I'm not very religious. I know prayer alone won't help. you cannot assume someone will fix it all for you. clearly it's not that easy. you need to have a part In it . if it helps I believe in you. ❣
Lyrics: I pirouette in the dark I see the stars through me Tired mechanical heart Beats til the song disappears Somebody shine a light I'm frozen by the fear in me Somebody make me feel alive And shatter me So cut me from the line Dizzy, spinning endlessly Somebody make me feel alive And shatter me! This made me smile. I'm almost crying because i have two tests tomorrow and i don't know anything (i'm now on a break from learning. I always listen to songs that doen't fit my mood.) and it's the middle of the night. Thank you.
This song kept me alive when I didn't want to be. I was isolated and abused for 6 years. This song kept me strong enough to keep breathing until I could get out.
My wife of thirty years passed unexpectedly with no warning. The love of my life. She was a pianist and she never knew about Lindsey Sterling but I know she would have loved her immensely , point is I discovered this a month after my wifes death and it moved me and carried me through some very dark times When I didn't care if I lived or died! I can understand how you feel! Love and music transcends time and space!
Lindsey, I don't know if you will read this, but I just wanted to tell you that this song gave me so much hope when I was going through my eating disorder 6 years ago. I used to listen to this song on repeat because it described exactly how I felt and made me feel understood. Six years later, I am fully recovered and I still cry when I hear this song. Little did I know that this song was about your eating disorder too. I can't believe I found out just yesterday. I love you so much Lindsey. You are my favourite artist and this is my favourite song
Just came back after like, six years. It popped in my head and I had to listen to it again. My dad died March 25th and he used to play this for me after school and before school every day. Lindsey and her music was all I ever wanted to hear when I was younger. Lindsey made up a lot memories in my life. I miss my dad, but this is my time capsule.💕
Most of those people arent asking for likes it just says “anyone in 2024” and obviously someone would be curioua if they were listening to a 10 year old song
12 year old me lived by Lindsey Stirling’s music, and read every book to her music. I can still feel scenes of long forgotten books, unusually vivid, beat by beat to specific songs of hers
@@thehippie3610 no, she doesn’t write books. I, personally, listen to music whenever I read any book. It helps me focus and amplify the feelings I get from the books. When I was in middle school, most of my reading playlists had her songs in them. They were perfect instrumentals for those YA dystopia or kids with powers books.
I met Lzzy about 13 years ago after her set. I was blown away and asked if she had a vocal coach. She said YES and gave me his info! She was super friendly
Why are so many people disliking? I honestly love LZZY and Halestorm, this song is how I got to like Lindsey, she's an amazing violinist and LZZY is an amazing singer and this is a beautiful combo, unless you don't like both the violin and metal (Which you shouldn't be here in that case) then why dislike?
*Dials 911* 911, what's your emergency? I have a problem with a dislike button. What's wrong with it? People are using it. Don't worry, well get to the bottom of this. #dontdisliketheviolen

No she says "somebody make me feel alive than shatter me. Saying she wants someone to make her feel wanted rather than being told she isn't worth anything. The song is like a cry for help
ok i´m not sure but i got the lyrics from songtexte.com.I´m from germany and not able to hear what she is singing all the time, because 1.i´m from germany :d and 2. i can hear nothing on my right ear and 50 % on my left ear.I´m nearly numb :( But I will hear music till i´m going to get full numb .
I think this is the only song that has stuck with me the longest. Normally I stop listening to one song after a while and move on from it, but never with this one. I first listened to this when I was seven and I was amazed by it. I'm fourteen now and I still love it. It means a lot to me.

Not only is the music amazing, but the concept is visually stunning. Like when it shatters around her face and she breaks the "facade". Best part visually in my opinion.

I love this song so much. To me, it's an anthem to remind us that we need to step outside our comfort zones to feel the exhilaration of new experiences. If we don't, we may remain "safe", but our world just keeps spinning in gray (no excitement). Thanks, Lindsey and Lzzy!
The voice from Lzzy alongside the violin of Lindsey is some serious damage, in a good sense, no wonder why the song is called "Shatter Me". Powerful combination.
Ok, I'm going to put my entire opinion on this video. First, we can see a butterfly flying outside of the glass. Now butterflies usually symbolize rebirth and freedom, so for the butterfly to be outside, it could represent how the ballerina (We'll call her Belle) feels trap. Belle feels trap, since she's inside the glass, while the butterfly is outside. And it is this butterfly that helped her break free. 2nd, when the glass started breaking, she started shattering as well. Now to me, I see this as symbolic of how Belle is starting to break free from what was keeping her trapped, with the glass breaking representing how she finally finds the courage to break free, and her skin shattering representing how she's finally setting herself free after earning the courage. 3rd, now this song is of course known for the lyrics and it's title "Shatter me", so the lyrics "Somebody made me feel alive than shatter me." now, many would assume it means Belle got betrayed. But to me, I think the person that 'shattered' her is the butterfly, what I'm trying to say, is what if she meant "shatter me" as in "shattering the glass that is trapping me" the butterfly representing that person that had given her the courage to shatter the glass.
If only you knew.. Lindsey I'm 13 now and I've been watching you play since I was 11. Back then I first started playing the violin, I didn't have passion. But then I saw your cover of radioactive and ever since I've been wanting to be amazing just like you. I just auditioned for one of the greatest high schools in my city for the performing arts. I never stopped trying, and now I'm patiently waiting for my letter to say if I got in or not. But even if I don't I will always keep trying I love playing it thanks to you! I want to make music just like YIY one day and share it with the world. Thank you for being an inspiration :)
@@thursdayfivenine3106 No they don't. They are a rock band with rock songs. Even Lzzy Hale herself has said in multiple interviews that her band is a female fronted rock band. Metal is normally a lot faster, based on the category. Like Death Metal, Black Metal, Symphonic Metal. Others are a bit slower, but still Metal, like Love Metal. Examples of these catergories are Cannibal Corpse(Death Metal), Cradle of Filth(Black Metal), Within Temptation(Symphonic Metal), and HIM(Love Metal. Halestorm is a rock band or more specifically, a Hard Rock band.
Does anyone else wonder how she plays the role of a porcelain doll perfectly?? Even at the 2nd chorus when she tries to get out, she makes one of the cutest angry faces I've ever seen... 2:43
Still breaking out of glass ceiling thought patterns from my upbringing.. Some abuse is more insidious simply because of it's subtlety. I love the part where the butterfly goes past and then you realize that it's actually a bat. I feel like there are subtle forms of abuse of religion or abuse of parental power that can create such confusion. When you look at it in one moment you think it's lovely and beautiful and then as you stare at it longer you realize that it's not, that it's an illusion created to keep you quiet. And then she goes up to punch and crack the glass and stops herself. I really relate to that because anytime I try to break out of some of that fear (i.e. fear of God, fear of love withdrawal) I feel afraid that I'm bad and giving in to anger and that it's not true and that I need to believe the lovely perfectionistic ideas. Then I feel depressed because I know that I'm suppressing the truth and that I actually feel trapped. It is a difficult task to shatter the denial and coping patterns built in childhood to protect you when you were defenseless. As an adult you can break free but it means getting in touch with what was too painful to face as a child. Subtle abuse, not letting you have a voice as a child, it brings up such frightening feelings of rage and pain! We want to stay in the bubble at first... But trusting you can still survive outside is the truth. Breaking free.. One hit, one conscious act, one shifted paradigm at a time.... It's a process.
+LadyLullaby INFJ First off, well said. It's a common theme in Anime but not really brought into the mainstream of western media, and when it is it's usually misinterpreted or un-recognised. It is as you say the subtle abuse that gets overlooked and often lacking understanding. Tbh, and I'm not 100% as to why but this song always reminds me of Aigis from Persona 3. I know I'm trailing off but wanted to say well said. Edit; said eastern when meant western
+Stuart Haram Ok you mention subtle abuse, now what if is self abuse, that happens ,let's say a millennia would that make if hard to break out of the repetiveness of self abuse, thus trying to shatter the past and living with regrets? Many of our problems and or situations can be of our own making,or design

What an incredibly talented violinist Lindsey Stirling is. She wrote this song and created this incredible video featuring the amazing vocals of Lzzy Hale.

I remember meeting this lady when she first got going and was doing small venues. She is beyond nice and it's great to see she had blown up. As she really does deserve it.
It was written about Lindsey's battle with an eating disorder. It's so frikin powerful. And the way she has to break herself to break free? So true. It is possible and the place you end up is so much more beautiful than you can imagine! It's just terrifying to do what you have to in order to get there.
same bro its just like that sometimes you feel like your trapped and cant get out and you feel like you can breathe and al w=you wanna do is break free but you cant (or is that just me?)
I can't believe i was able to sing along with this song after all these years. Back then i didn't really understand english, i was a freaking child and i remembered almost everything. Proves that music is just magical
I really freaking love the symbolism in this video. I don’t know if this is the main intention, but the way I see it is that the ballerina represents someone who is in an abusive or unhealthy situation. She desperately wants to be free, but the glass is keeping her in; she knows breaking it will set her free, but has also been convinced that it will keep her safe, so she stays. When she sees the bat, I believe she’s realizing how this situation has affected her perception of the outside world. And at the end she finally does break free, which takes a lot of courage, because sometimes it’s easier to stay in what you know, even when you know it is unhealthy. Idk why I felt like commenting this lol
as far as my own interpretation goes this music video is connected to the Lost Girls video from her. If you haven't heard/watched it yet, you should check it out
@@yuki_alternateuniverse9617 But Lost Girls came after Shatter Me. But yes, it is the same snow globe, and at least one of the scenes from this video was reused.
This was my situation exactly and this song was my anthem until my divorce two years ago. It still brings me joy, strength, and hope to listen to this. And it's crazy since I'm in a healthy, happy relationship now.

While Lindsay is trying to break free, Lzzy is trying to repair the damage.
Playing violin is not that easy. You need to have a true enthusiasm for it and a creative mind. I have been learning to play violin since 2014 but I am yet to create good melodies. Every time I listen to Lindsey's tracks, I feel how amazingly good she is!
Thank you, Holli. I appreciate your kind help.
I completely agree. I've been playing violin for five years through school, I've come nowhere close to be half this. You just need to keep at it, and practice does in fact make perfect. (even if I don't do it nearly as much as I should)
+Maya Djurisic : you are right. practice and practice, that's all I need now !
Yea, I'm in our schools we have Lessons as a group, and in our concert we only got through 1 song. And it was like the easiest song EVER!
takes allot of practice. Ive played the violin and viola since 1998.
The tone of her voice is so strong. It's like she's really angry. I can't stop hitting the replay button .

Yes, she is a great singer and musician. Have you check her other songs?
She is my favourite vocalist. Her band (Halestorm) is my favourite group band/ rock group/ group with frontwoman all the time. 😊

You will not regret it.
FYI her band just release a new song and new album will be release soon. But I suggest you to check their old songs/ albums first.
You are welcome. 😊

I'm an old classic rock/metal and newer metal fan. Halestorm is one of a *_very few_* newer bands I like, owing a lot to Lzzy's vocals.
This is a balance between elegance and rock ‘n roll (possibly)
It’s so amazing!

Yeah I ❤ it
Elegance of a violin, dubstep beat more a powerfull voice of a rockstar. Perfection.
Bradley Gordon look up symphonic metal, you will be enraptured.

ua-cam.com/video/r0hdIPcbTWM/v-deo.html 🎶 shatter me💃
Lindsey Stirling was six years old when she began begging for violin lessons. Wow this is a long comment.
zoe copenhaver that's such an inspirational story☺️
thats very a wonderful story about Lindsey :D
zoe copenhaver thanks for sharing this
zoe copenhaver Wasn't the eating disorder during college before her music career? I though she had already overcome that when she started to work with Devin.
_wow this is a long comment_
This sound is so wonderful. The person who is reading this comment, I wish you great success, health, love and happiness!
And the same to you!
I just saw Lindsey in concert and it was INCREDIBLE. There's actually such a deep story behind this:
Lindsey struggled with body image and anorexia for years... She constantly was trying to be perfect and was killing herself inside but tried to appear content (the porcelain ballerina). She realized that perfection was suffocating her and she'd have to break out, even if it meant cracking through years of work for perfection, in order to be happy and free.(:
:O very motivational
I just saw her in concert too. It was so amazing. She is such an amazing person
Where'd you see her?
Where'd you see her?

Don’t worry it is not dead
i literally dont care how "cringey" or "2016" this song is, it is SUCH a banger
This song never aged bad, WE aged bad.
Who even said that?
REALLLLL
I didn’t discover this until 2021 and I didn’t know how much I was missing out on.
Cringe is to think that this banger is cringe lol
❤️
Ama Ah good luck with your entire future, you beautiful person
You’ve just motivated me to achieve my dreams 😁😁
Work hard to do it. Thats what my violin teacher says

I'll still listen to it in years. It's so amazing! Elegance, talent, passion. It has everything
Me toooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Yup
This has got to be one of my top favorite songs by Lindsey, if not THE top. And Lzzy is freaking insanely amazing with her vocals... Always. Her range is mind-blowing just in this piece alone. But the grit and push when she sings "Shatter me" & then again in the bridge gives me goosebumps every single time I put this song on... Which is a lot. These two need to do some more collabs bc they compliment one another so perfectly.
I completely agree. This is also one of my favorites.
😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫

Turning heat into motion? Surely they carnot do that!
:)

WITCHCRAFT I tell you!
@@tempgames9091 i feel like you're joking, but on the off chance that you're serious please let me know.
Nothing like the combination of a rock Valkyrie and a violin virtuoso combined to make the perfect song!
Respect for sharing your experience 🥺❤️❤️❤️
You are beautiful, thank you for sharing tour heart! Be Brave ❤️🙏
Thanks

We burn every magnet and spring
And spiral into the unknown

Anyone tired of the "anyone in 2024" question plastered at EVERY song on UA-cam just for easy likes?
A bit. Amusingly I found one for 2050 awhile ago 🙂
Anyone in 2024? 😂🎉
Most of those people arent asking for likes it just says “anyone in 2024” and obviously someone would be curioua if they were listening to a 10 year old song
12 year old me lived by Lindsey Stirling’s music, and read every book to her music. I can still feel scenes of long forgotten books, unusually vivid, beat by beat to specific songs of hers
and this was the first album I ever bought
Her music has books?!

If only the clockworks could speak
I wouldn't be so alone
We burn every magnet and spring
And spiral into the unknown
Somebody shine a light
I'm frozen by the fear in me
Somebody make me feel alive
And shatter me
So cut me from the line
Dizzy, spinning endlessly
Somebody make me feel alive
And shatter me!
Shatter me!
Somebody make me feel alive
And shatter me!
If I break the glass, then I'll have to fly
There's no one to catch…
Great collaboration, Lzzy Hale's vocal range is insane.

Not really.

What about Brendan
This is one of the best songs she has ever wrote. Love the tune, vocals, and message! Can't believe 12K didn't like it. But, oh well her music ain't for everyone I guess.
Edit: make that 13k

I agree and also, FINALLY someone who says Ain't! People usually tell me that it ain't a word, but I say it anyway. XP
Ha! I use it all the time :)
awsome, lucky you XD some of my friends don't mind it luckily
Next time just tell them to look it up in the dictionary.. If yolo, amazeballs, and douchebaggery can be words then ain't can be a word...
I actually shed a tear from this...I don’t do that to many songs, this is one of the very few that pull such raw emotions out of me

I love this song so much. To me, it's an anthem to remind us that we need to step outside our comfort zones to feel the exhilaration of new experiences. If we don't, we may remain "safe", but our world just keeps spinning in gray (no excitement). Thanks, Lindsey and Lzzy!
Dizzylizzy
Hi
Same
The voice from Lzzy alongside the violin of Lindsey is some serious damage, in a good sense,
no wonder why the song is called "Shatter Me". Powerful combination.
4 years late but this song is still the best in the world.

But even if I don't I will always keep trying
I love playing it thanks to you! I want to make music just like YIY one day and share it with the world.
Thank you for being an inspiration :)
I hope you got in!
Well, what happened???
Did you get in??
You are an amazing person! Way to be strong and follow your dreams! I really hope you got it :)

Hale is a metal singer. That's why she can scream so intensely.
More of hard rock, Halestorm aren't metal at all, the public eye just doesn't understand the huge differences between Rock and Metal

Nice voice all round , check out her collaboration with The hu , Wolf Totem .

TL;DR? I demand one.
Stuart Haram Thanks so much!
True, and a fair point. It's fair to say the song has different meanings depending on the listener. It's always good to see all perspectives.

Coming back over 5 years and realized lzzy has an uncanny resemblance to Fran Drescher! 😍
What an incredibly talented violinist Lindsey Stirling is. She wrote this song and created this incredible video featuring the amazing vocals of Lzzy Hale.

Who needs life when you have Lindsey Stirling? Love ya girl!!
The passion Lzzy Hale puts in her voice is amazing and Lindsey is so graceful and elegant, both are so unbelievably talented
I remember meeting this lady when she first got going and was doing small venues. She is beyond nice and it's great to see she had blown up. As she really does deserve it.
She does
I love Lindsey Stirling, and I love Halestorm. What happens when you put them together? A masterpiece!

a Stirling storm
or a Stormling
+Desi Esc A Stormlindsey? She actually created one of her "Prism" 's Violindseys as Storm (in Japanese Kanji)
Desi Esc What about Lindsey Stirling and Melanie Martinez.
This song describes the way I feel when I'm trapped in my depression and feel like I can't break free
It was written about Lindsey's battle with an eating disorder. It's so frikin powerful. And the way she has to break herself to break free? So true. It is possible and the place you end up is so much more beautiful than you can imagine! It's just terrifying to do what you have to in order to get there.

the same for me too
Though its shatter me lol
Jon Merchant whats wrong with it :v
oh you should listen to the nightcore version its sound so much cooler!
Paradise by within temptation is really good too
I really freaking love the symbolism in this video.
If you haven't heard/watched it yet, you should check it out
@@yuki_alternateuniverse9617 I haven't. I'll make sure to give that a watch :D
Your username fits cause your good at imagining things. at least in this comment.

Practice DOES make perfect
+Akane Hyuga nobody can be perfect. But practice can help you sound better.
+catzrawesome77 to properly play the violin you need to strive for perfection
r1v3rgod You need to strive for it but you'll never get it, you might get close, but you won't get it.
