Thanks for the video, for accurate results you'll need to check your power when operating into a dummy load, you may wish to try this and you might be surprised by the different readings.

delboyonline ah ok, could you please explain to me why that would be more accurate?
      I’m still learning 👍🏻

@@danielninnes6344 put simply a dummy load gives a more accurate reading as it gives the radio a perfect 50 ohms match and removes the effect of the coax and antenna from the readings.

delboyonline ah ok I see, but I’m guessing the readings you get by using your antenna are what you are actually getting using your setup. Am I correct?
      Thanks 👍🏻

@@danielninnes6344 not exactly, I'm no expert by the way, but I know the only way of getting an accurate reading is by using a dummy load. I've had people come to me saying their radios are low on power but when you test them on a dummy load you find that the radios are putting out exactly what they should be.

Hello there, yes I still like it 👍🏻

Daniel Ninnes: Your readings are approximately the same as mine although on minimum power in FM mode mine shows 6 watts (40 watts on full power in FM mode). On SSB mine puts out about 60 watts maximum and about 15 watts in AM mode.

Just a well intentioned advice: A powertest needs 2 basic things in general: 1st: a real 50 ohm dummyload and not an antenna with bad swr = wrong reading. 2nd: A real P.E.P. powermeter, wich coast minimum 2 or 3 times the price of this radio (wich is a real good performer!) I bet, with a precise lab meter, the real output is some watts more. So please - don`t try to squeeze this lemon out. You will not expect more than maybe 1db, wich is nothing in real world. Just enjoy and be happy..... and pay some attention on temperatur.....

Dude you seriously need to tune your antenna that SWR is high

It is no differens between 35 and 50 W.

Don't run on full continuous power as you will burn out your finals.
