"Thank you for saying the channellock looks like a dinosaur. I think that EVERY TIME" - my husband lol
Great vid!! You crushed it, Marissa!
Everyone thinks channel locks look like a dinosaur. Marissa is just brave enough to say it!
Great at explaining the process and very educational. Your wife is such a great trooper. Well done ❤
She definitely puts up with my nonsense!
Go Marrisa!! Anyone can have a go!! Great start to the channel by the way.
Thanks I appreciate it!
In the next video his wife makes him cook all the food 😂.
But this is awesome. Most people don't bother doing the work themselves because they have no idea what they are doing and no one to help them.
I make a mean box of kraft Mac and cheese don't underestimate me 😎
I like to do as much work on my own vehicles that I can I got trust issues with shops lol
Get that girl some power tools!
Woo! Thanks for the $10! You are officially the first to donate and you will be remembered forever 😎
Next time Marissa will get to use power tools for sure lol
Great vid! Car noob question: Why don't you need to put the intake back on when running the engine to get the air bubbles out of the coolant? Does that risk damaging anything? My biggest fear in working on cars is breaking something and making it worse than it was before
A great question! While your car will run better with the intake on because it will use the MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor to measure the amount of oxygen going into the engine. It does not need it to function! The manufacturers know about how much air will be flowing into the engine from all the testing they do and they just make an educated guess. That way if your MAF sensor breaks, your car isn't just dead in the water. Really the only issue with no intake would be nothing filtering the air going into the engine. So if you take the intake off and you throw some sand or pebbles into your engine while it's running you will most likely ruin your engine.
Being worried about ruining your car when working on it is a valid concern and when you're learning how to work on vehicles you should definitely use manuals or UA-cam videos to make sure you do things right along the way. There can be a lot of things to remember and sometimes mistakes can be expensive. But I wouldn't let that thought stop you from doing it! Working on cars has been one of the most rewarding hobbies for me. I know that if my car breaks I'm not going to get charged an exorbitant amount of money to fix it because I'll do it myself! And way beyond being able to repair my own vehicles modifying them is even more fun and I think everyone should try it 😎
TLDR: just do it bro its just pieces of metal and plastic held together with smaller pieces of metal and plastic... And some fluids... And sometimes electricity... But just start with the bolts and nuts...
💪😎👍
