Well you definitely need to do their new cover of Cascada's "Every Time We Touch"! Epic!
YES
Definitely! So good!
Yeah that one is so good
to answer your "what's with the pony" question: thats kind of a word play. in german the kind of hairstyle where you have the hair cut more or less vertically on your forehead is called a pony as well as the smaller horses are, so it's a pony with a pony, which also fits pretty good to the bandmembers hairstyle in this video.
They have 2 singers. Kevin is the taller vocalist doing harsh vocals. Nico is the shorter one doing clean vocals.
They are incredible live. The party vibe from this video is exactly what their live shows are like. So much energy. They also sang some backstreet boys and disney songs 😂
Any YT videos of them playing those live?! Would be epic
@@dan9337 Plenty by now. ua-cam.com/video/TDIkVepIf8E/v-deo.html
@@dan9337 not official footage but this is from the show I was at in London ua-cam.com/video/sfweh8kHq0s/v-deo.html
They def have the moves. Saw them at their first Australian show. The place was shaking with the thrum of the crowd chanting and bouncing. Best gig of the last 12 months easy.
Omg finally 😁
Saw them live in Helsinki at the Tuska metal festival a couple weeks ago. Great band, they definitely had one of the biggest parties of the weekend going on in the crowd. They released their cover of Every Time We Touch a week or two before the festival and I was so happy they played it
Fuck yes! Was there as well. It was brilliant.
I saw them two weeks ago in Sacramento and they were mind-blowing Lee good and their opening act was really really good as well
Been to a show of theirs in Germany back in April and it was a blast. Their vocals were great live, no matter if it was screams or clean vocals. Pyro on point, band on point, crowd on point. Everyone was singing along with them and they brought guest star Finch (big german rap artist) on stage to perform a song they have together. Booked tickets to see them again in 2024 already - if you get the chance, see them live, they won't disappoint.
Pop,techno, metal this band just shows you how much fun you can have no matter what type of music you listen to
Saw them live at a festival 2 weeks ago. Regrettably have to say, they made us party so hard I barely remember any details. Remember lots of dancing and headbanging, singing along, some moshing, some trodden toes, oh and it got hot from the pyro. Also there was an anatomically shaped piano and a Disney song 😀 It was awesome! Already got tickets for the winter tour.
Saw them in Cologne this year, best concert of my life! Not only do they deliver on stage, the whole arena was one big party, up into the last row way back.
If you want to see Electric Callboy's range, watch their music video for 'Pump it' followed by watching the 'Pump it' accoustic live at Circle Studios Berlin version. You'll see totally different sides to the band on the same song. 🫶🏻
Seen them twice, one of the best live acts in circulation currently.
Please check out Hanabie's latest release. Strong Electric Callboy vibes, but not a cheap copy. 🤘❤🔥

Tried to post the link here for you, but YT wouldn't let me.
Infectious!!! Yes.
Electric Callboy live! Can only wish I've been there but I've watched a ton of the videos and they are so fun. This song in particular ... The part that you said was a great vocal exercise... Is an audience favorite. It is given over to the audience at that point and they go wild! There is one video with the guys after the concert looking down from 4 in the hotel at all the people in the lobby and one of them yells "dah ta da da da.. da ta dah da da". And the whole lobby looks up and takes over. The energy.
These guys are awesome. Pump It is the next song to check out and it has the most 80e video of all time.
Horse thing. In german the front hair is a pony, so it is a pony with a pony.
To maintain the level start of the song, it is a cocktail....... I know, but you have to admit the brain works needed to include non PG in a very PG way, not to forget the bush been orally...whatever.
😅
YES finally I freaking love this band
They do have some pyro actually! Check out Hypa Hypa live from Cologne.
I want to see them live so so bad, they are absolute amazing!! 🔥🔥 Love the reaction video as well 😎
False-fold screams use entirely different vocal chords, hence the ability to scream and not damage the voice. Tatiana from Jinjer is incredible at it; she switches multiple times between smooth vocals and screams with no strain and no damage. In response to your questions about their live shows, EC posts some of their live shows; they are incredible. Might be worth a watch.
Holy shit the laugh at about the 2 minute mark has perfect timing
They are awesome live
That is a band really worth watching live. The energy is so high. It's awesome for sure :D
You know what they say, those who can not “Do” instead “Teach”
Pleaaaase Everytime we touch by Electric Callboy
They've been on a long tour! I saw them here in Manchester and it was amazing
Great and funny video - that made me smile 👍
Well, their live shows have more and more pyros with every tour, so I see the potential to get to R+‘s level. 😉
Saw them in Leipzig this year and it was a friggin blast. First time for me since they got Nico and it was AWESOME!
Last time I saw them Live in Luxembourg and I got lost inside the moshpit :D
2 weeks ago, Mindreader circle pit, some mild elbow to the ear, lots of fun! I really should leave it to the guys next time 😂
I'll be seeing them in August here in Phoenix
Their concerts are the biggest parties. Crazy good!
You need to check out the "Prism" live acoustic video of Electric Callboy! Just the pure voice of him in front of the crowd!
And give a look for the other songs from EC! They are amazing live also!
Seen them in 2012/13.. as eskimo. They slayed. Dallas, TX
Fiiiinally you went back to - now - Electric Callboy 😁😁 I've never seen them live yet, but I just love their new album + singles. I think, their are outstanding in the genre, I wouldn't know a band to compare them with. Please, I highly recommend checking out all their songs from the new album, since they did a music video for nearly each song! What I most like is, even though one clearly can hear that each song is from EC, every song feels different!
Their latest is fantastic: Every Time We Touch
They announced a full live-show movie.
😎 nice
❤
@KenLavigne, I had the pleasure of seeing them together with ~800 others in Copenhagen in March. The energy was awesome, and that they unapologetically made us all sing along on Backstreet Boys, just made it even more fun. Yes, they are super serious with regards to music, and very little regarding themselves: ua-cam.com/video/-C8ip9ua3hs/v-deo.html
Their Spaceman is excellent. Elton John references, a german rapper... Just fun.
Techno meets Rammstein is perfect lol.
i love the fact that some people dont get that he basicly is "licking the bushes" :D xD
Now............ Do not delay. Current and my intro to the whole thing...."Every Time We Touch".
You will never have to ask again which one is Kevin. (tall - Harsh vocals)... Nico (short - clean vocals). Nico is newest member ...changed a few years back. I just discovered them but it seems they haven't stopped since.
You should definitely react to Hype Hypa :D
Hey Ken, love your reaction vids. Would love to see your reaction to a metal band called Chaoseum, Smile again (song name) Or the the song My Wonderland. Same band. Keep up the great work. ❤😊
We got the moose🤣🤣🤣
Please react to Will Ramos Laryngyscopy from The Charismatic voice, the vide is called "OPERATION: ""Throat Camera". Will Ramos of Lorna Shore scoped while he performs harsh vocals!" It gives an excellent insight into harsh vocals and the singer's health. This might be really interesting to you. :)
Ken. Believe me when you need to listen to Queen bee- Mephisto on The First Take. I've never commented on your videos before... but this I need.
Thank you Ken for opening my ears to new experiences.
Love the song you chose.
Its my new go to rock around the house dance song. (Yikes was that tmi, lol)
We butter the bread with butter please
How about We Butter the Bread with Butter feat. Electric Callboy doing a cover of EC's Hypa Hypa? Similar mix of heavy and humor.
It's nice that Dr. Octavious cloned himself a bunch of times, and formed an electricore band. I hope they go far in the music industry.
"WAT IS' HIER LOS? VERPISST EUCH IHR LAPPEN !"
Liveperformance? First: I saw them years ago with the other singer sushi, wheb the musicgengre was called emocore and it was pretty amazing. Second: I saw them live 3 times now as electric callboy at Summerbreeze last year, in Leipzig on their own show and Novarock this year and I will see them next year in Dresden and I know for next year I wont be disapointed, their liveshows are dynamite and it will be a lot of fun as it always was so far, but the shoutvocals goes a little bit under, if that make sence, but its not Kevins fault hes shouting like an animal, there is a bit soundcorrection to do in my opinion. Short: Go for it, if you got the possibility.🎉
and greatz from german😂🇩🇪
If you would like to react to an artist you might not have heard of before, I recommend Aesthetic Perfection with their new song Summer Goth
Please !

To growl/scream is actually really easy once you know how! and its practically the same as operatic delivery! fill your self with air till air naturally just releases as you begin to exhale and engage your core, in layman's terms imagine you're a human bagpipe and use your poopin muscles to grunt it out 🤣 your throat is for *modulation* of the sound only if you try to project it from your throat you're gonna have a baaad time 🤣 for practice next time you yawn tense your stomach outward and gently force the yawn out of your mouth congrats that's the basics!
Saw them this summer they said they were inspired by a British band called enter shikari to make this style of music. If you wanna check out one of their songs try sorry your not a winner.
It takes a bit of practice to learn how to do the scream without hurting yourself, but once you get it it's easy.
Easy way to tell Kevin and nico apart Kevin the metal vocalist has sleeve tattoos while nico does not
It's running fast.
Seeing the cello behind you, I wonder how you've never reacted to a band that often use classical instruments. Allow me to introduce one of the milestones of symphonic metal, 20yrs ago, that marked the genre. As a vocal teacher, I think you'll find some interest in singer's voice and how it has been developed through years. May be it's time for another journey, you choose. Ah, FYI, this girl and Floor are best friends for years! Greetings from Athens, Greece.

X
first of all
they're singing
döp-dödödö-döp
second they are doing trancecore music. some older songs are metalcore
The importance of what they're singing (that you put in your post) is lost on me not knowing another language unfortunately. Could you explain for all the rest of us what the significance is? Does it actually say something in another language or is it some inside joke from another country kind of thing? Seriously interested to learn all I can.
But I will say as far as what the different names of what they're doing. .. all I can say is I am beyond the year's most listened to this I suppose and I'm very excited to hear not only something so different here but two or three other bands that I have recently discovered that our molding different styles together. And all of these that I've been hearing lately there things I would have never been exposed to if it had been just some genre that was only for the initiated. The fact that things are crossing lines and not taking themselves so seriously is a very freeing thing for me. I never realized how much I was missing.
@@donnakurtz9293 the Döp sounds go back to the band SCOOTER, which became verry famous with songs with small to zero sense in the lyrics. in their song "Maria (i like it loud)" they had a pretty similar melody to that part of this song which was then vokalised by singing "döp döp döp dödödöpdöpdöp" which hasn't more meaning as dadada or lalala but became really iconic.
@@donnakurtz9293 it is just a useless sound made with your mouth.
like doo-dah, doo-dah day.
You wanna learn to growl in a healthy way, clear your throat. Everything after is just articulation of your entire mouth and air pressure
ok cha cha cha is definitly based on this
❤
