Ich kenne Electric (Eskimo) Callboy schon etwas länger, aber bei diesem Album geht alles in die richtige Richtung. selbst ironisch, lustig, positiv und vor allem authentisch. Nico injected new life in the old songs, they just sound better than the old studio versions, and way way better than old live ones, you guys are already one of my favorite bands, the energy is on a complete new level nowadays, keep doing that and I'll be there whenever I can for you guys.
@@Y0G0FU Sushi is a lot better on ghost kid, it just fits him better, he is a very good singer, and I like old EC a lot, I just like it way way more right now, you gotta embrace the goofiness to really go next level on EC, and he just didn't, he clearly didn't want to be that committed to fun, and wanted to be more serious, nothing wrong with that, but it prevented him to give 100%, even if he tried.
100%. My Own Summer is the perfect example. Nico's clean vocals on this track are like honey to my ears. This looks like it was an amazing show and the mix was about as perfect as it could be.

@@pedrothevenard this. Sushi is a great singer and musician who carried the band with both cleans and fry vocals. But while he even tried to be on the funnier side of EC, he's just not suited for that. Nico is naturally funny almost as much as Kevin and David and just fits this direction. Not to mention he is amazingly diverse vocalist at the same time.
im such a sucker for good live recordings. with or without video. for example i love "over the years and through the woods" by Queens of the Stone Age. you have to turn it up a bit but it sounds like you're there and very clear at the same time.

Check out the live shows of a band called “fear and loathing in Las Vegas” they are techno core there not as goofy as these guys, but talk about some of the best live recording sheeeesh the Japanese never fail technically! Plus the band is absolutely cannon!
@@scwfan08 I've been to a EC concert and they always have a slight playback because they use more instruments in their songs that they can play on stage. Their live performance is what you can see here. This is what they sound live. Great mix, great performance, crazy band.

So many people watch the music videos not realizing the talent of everyone in the group. Drummer is absolutely amazing! Had the daughter sit down with me and watch the whole concert. At the end she said the one thing every parent wishes to hear from their 10 year old!! "Dad when are we going to see them in concert!?" Let's go September!!! We are officially headed to Philly P.A. Months ago we bought tickets for their US mid-west tour this fall; seeing this, I can't imagine how they'd ever play a 400-person club ever again. I hope we get to see them, but if we don't, I cannot possibly hold it against them--I am SO HAPPY for them in their success. They absolutely earned it.
They are doing a 600 club show in Dk sould out so far. Just imagine the sheer PARTY with 600 dedicated EC fans, though i wish for the to up the size of the venue ;)
They recorded all channels separately at this concert and mixed it in the studio. Instead of just uploading the foh/location mix they optimised it for normal speakers and headphones. Hands down the best mix for a live video I have heard so far. I think it sounds even better than alestorms Tilburg Concert.
Watching this concert has made me want to get back into music. I lost that spark and have spent well over 10 years in the wilderness except for one show where my bands favourite venue was closing down. We put on one last show for it and I haven't been on a stage since. I think it's time to blow out the cobwebs and have some fun

Sushi wasnt bad with them and his Solo stuff is amazing but i agree... Nico fits just better for me :D They have so much synergy.

This is an excellent mix; the entire show sounded so freakin' tight, as if mastered in a studio.
It was. This was each channel mixed separately, unlike shows being recorded directly through one channel

Mein erstes Electric Callboy Konzert und es war direkt der Hammer. Die ganze Halle ist direkt beim ersten Lied komplett ausgerastet. Sowas hab ich noch nie erlebt. 🤘

It 100% saved me from a lot of dark crap. I discovered them only 3 months ago and today, they are one of the reasons i get up in the mornings. I know this might sound a bit down-ish, but i listen their songs every day and it helps me heel more and more
