Hey Tank, fun fact: this is not a bavarian castle, its Schloss Rothestein in Bad Sooden-Allendorf in Hessen. Thats my hometown and I can see it right now when I look outside the window . Imagine how surprised I was to see this castle in the video. Even the interior shots were made there. Great reaction to an awesome new EC banger. Keep up the good work.

@@Ugin_Spiritdragon Gotta disagree. I absolutely love the Sushi era of Electric Callboy as well, but it's undeniable that something just clicked when Nico joined.
@@TankTheTech their music is less serious and more fun in my opinion. I just can't imagine Sushi dressing up for Hypa Hypa, Pump It or We got the moves. Without him the guys wouldn't be at the point where they are now but personally I just like the fun approach to music so much more.
@@TankTheTech to be fair, the sushi era wasn't all the way bad. They had some good songs ,,Best day" is a good example but idk since nico joined they became my favorite band❤ he was like the missing piece of the puzzle to unlock their full potential.

I swear the bromance between Nico and Kevin is the most beautiful thing in the universe. My heart is exploding of joy watching them. I had the stupidest biggest smile on my face the whole time and tears in my eyes. Gosh I love these guys!
dont know if its a real bromance, but its certainly love, i rather think they ar ebest friend as artist, and like doing funny video.
the way they present themself, is they like party, and thats totally the spirit.
They certainly have chemistry, and I guess it gave the whole band a boost when Nico joined.

Im so grateful Electric Callboy changed their name. My Inuit friend’s parents would be referred to as “Eskimo” in derogatory ways in the 80s and 90s and when i discovered a band called Eskimo Callboy who are just a bunch of german guys, it was hard to even want to listen to their music so i never did. But thank god they changed their name because i could actually feel comfortable listening to them and enjoying their content knowing their name isn’t a mockery of my friends

@@c.k.1933 There is no comparisson, the chemistry between Nico and the rest of the band is just beyond limits. The band have evolved into something bigger and batter since the departure of Sushi (no hate at all towards him, true, the band is just better now)
@@akromvaleth how is it better? Because they make themselves look as clowns? I like these songs, but they aren’t better just because they are so le wacky and quirky, funny. Most of these new songs sound the same.
For example Crystals was a great song and wasn’t clownish. Sushi’s solo project is actually good and has a lot of more serious bangers. Also just wanted to add, “chemistry” is a buzzword, you are not part of the band and can’t measure it.

What you call "songs sound the same" it's called IDENTITY, the band before Nico sound exactly like any other Electronicore band, they now have a fresh approach of their songs and what they want to play and it's just better overall, get over it. Ps: i didn't say a dime about Sushi new project, no need to bring "fan jealosy attack" out of nowhere.

Ok. I'll be honest. Electric callboy normally isn't my cup of tea. I don't know why, and i likely couldn't give you a reason if you asked me. But one thing i will always give them full marks for, is their consistency with their music videos. There is not a dime wasted in anything they do. Location, style, everything is a perfect match for the song they're singing. And i love that. This video takes that concept, and enhances it 10X over. I love this music video. And thats all i have to say. Love your work tank! Keep being the amazing roadie we all know and love man!
(P.S. i love it when covers are made their own unique thing as well, my favorite example of this is jhonny cash's "hurt". Such a amazing cover of an already great song.)

I enjoy their new-ish style with Nico so much. You can clearly see that they didn't try and replace Sushi with someone who's as similar as possible but instead embraced Nicos strengths while keeping their own style alive.

Just came back from Full Force Festival in Germany, they played this one live - and it was a BANGER!
I‘ve been there too and was so suprised they played it but I loved it 😍
I love this cover, back in the early 2000s I was really into the Euro Techno scene and as you say, this was a massive hit for Cascada. But over the years, my tastes have edged towards heavier music, so this is the perfect combination of techno and heavy... Just to pick up on you saying that people assume you're a metalhead, I don't understand the need to pigeonhole people. I either like a song or I don't.

Watched the premier on Electric Callboy's page and so glad you posted your reaction as quick as you did! It made enjoying their new remix all the more fun! A lot of bands have done their take at a rock version of this song, but none in my opinion have blown it out of the water like Electric Callboy did! Thank you again for reacting to this Tank, it was an absolute blast.
I’m not the biggest techno enthusiast but this was a banger. Everytime we Touch is an absolute classic and I expect it to hear it if I ever go clubbing here in Chicago, hopefully this version too. This was some of the best bromance I’ve ever witnessed and I adore this.
And I gotta mention just how good the clean singing was.
I have wanted a good metal cover of this song the last 15 years. Finally, this is everything i could have dreamed of!

Anytime I see a "foreigner" reacting to a german band, I want to start my own yt-channel to talk about the german music scene in general! As I am german, into music for 30+ years and are working with musicians and the scene ... Germany has the third largest music market on this planet (after the US and Japan) ... and the largest music industry in whole Europe ... man, there is a lot of music and bands to discover! Trust me! One of my favorite aspects is the way they intermixed the styles more throughout the song with the final section combining the heaviest parts of the electronic and metal sections

This Cover from EC is SOOOOO GOOD! I grinned the whole time while watching the video! Same as you, I really love the "original" from Cascada because I grew up with it but I think, EC did such a good job on the cover! I especially love Kevin's and Nico's flamboyant style in the video!🤩
