I wish common sense was more common. Unfortunately it’s more rare than diamonds.
Putting all women in danger for the desires of a small percentage of men is not a good idea. It never will be.
I’m glad I finally decided to build a home gym. Between this crap and the people bringing full production studios in to film themselves working out I’m out on gyms. The COVID rules made me make the investment on a home gym. I’ll never go back now. Gym owners should work to resolve these issues before they lose more clients.
They just remodeled my gym and as soon as you walk in the men's room, you see nakedness. Putting the lockers and open changing area in the back would make more sense so everybody does not have to walk through it. They have added private changing areas but they are all the way in the back which makes no sense. Doors on urinals would be nice. Male and female changing areas are separate mainly due to threats of predation from men. There's size differential and sexual attraction to that sex which can lead to predatory behavior or exposure. However there are gays and hence they would be attracted to other males and there could be a size differential like in the case of men changing next to kids. Knowing that should gay men be allowed in the men's room? At this point, yes because there is no other place for them but both potential elements of predation are fulfilled. Personally anyone who openly changes with full frontal nudity in front of others in a locker room should be charged with a sex offense. No apology! Gyms need court orders to disallow this in their facilities. The YMCA said it's against their policy to expose yourself to children and have private changing areas designated family. So that's a step in the right direction but nobody deserves the embarrassment or predation even if there are just adults around. Similarly when in high school, they took the doors off of the sitdown toilets. Really!

Gyms are not federal spaces.
It’s state law in Colorado that requires gyms to have this policy. The state law is the violation.
@@yola_the_terf either way it really doesn’t affect me. Laws don’t make people safe because criminals don’t follow laws. Trans people are not criminals. People who sexual harass people are.

If someone is being sexual in a restroom that’s a personal issue with that person. Not all trans people.
That’s the problem. How do you know? Bathrooms and locker rooms should be safe spaces for females. They are private spaces out of view from the public. What’s to stop a trans identified male from taking advantage of females in those spaces? Should we just wait for exposures, sexual assaults, and r@pes to occur? After the damage is already done?
@@nealhollingsworth4104 A trans identified male should not be using the women's bathroom. FtMs belong in the men's bathroom, while MtFs belong in the womens. This is not complicated. We tend to categorize like this for reasons Neal. There is a reason we have formatted language to create points without people such as yourself muddying the water(intentionally or unintentionally) because you don't possess the social tools or any awareness on this subject making it more confusing for others.

Do people really ONLY think that for sexual harassment and assault to happen that it NEEDS to be done by an AMAB person.
Sexual assault can be done by an AFAB PERSON onto another afab person.. like do you KNOW how many women can STILL rape another woman??? Oh and let’s not forget women ALSO raping men because that is a REAL THING.
Honestly a person doesn’t even NEED to identify as transgender to get away with this, because in the MAJORITY of these cases, we just see someone doing it.

@@codyharney2997AFAB= Female/Woman/Girl AMAB=Male/Man/Boy. It’s a cult linguistic scheme, which is why some are blissfully unfamiliar with it. But it doesn’t hold water. No one “assigns” a person his or her sex. No one “chooses” which babies are boys and girls. A person’s biological sex is determined by the father’s sperm when it penetrates the mother’s egg during sexual reproduction.
The day where basic face don’t need detailed explanation can’t come fast enough.
