@mandy7369it’s only controversial because of the bullshit that’s been taught for years now. Even back when being gay was held on the same level that being trans is held on now. It’s controversial because of the misinformation.
Unfortunately, the parents are charged with harassment in many states if they do not call their kid by their preferred gender. The schools step in and affirm whatever gender the kid wants and shame the parents. It is so sad. Kids who are struggling want to feel special. They take a vulnerable child, give them lots of special attention and extra support. They get a place to fit in and are easily indoctrinated with anything that would explain their discomfort. They are promised that transitioning will help. It is so sad.
The so-called counselor insisted to Chloe's parents that if they did not allow her to do this, she would kill herself. This is common practice. These deceitful, positively demonic "counselors" should be prosecuted for malfeance, and lose their licenses.
Watch the entire interview. Ms Cole's parents made a mistake but had a lot of professional "assistance" in arriving at their decision. They thought they were literally saving Ms Cole's life.
I was a hardcore tomboy, around age 8 I began to wear boy clothes, cut my hair, even had my family call me a boy name and now I’m 23, very feminine, straight , and love being a woman and mother. I’m so glad my parents let me be who I was and left it at that, no labels or medical intervention
My daughter, when she was very young (3 years) she said she was a boy. We said her she was a girl. Then she became a little angry and said: "when I am older I will become a boy". We tolded her that was possible to change as adult. She accepted that after a few discutions. Now she is still a woman and is happy to be a woman.
I was a tomboy, my mother didn't discourage it. But I was never allowed to forget that I was a girl. I was well dressed, hair done, etc. Tore the knees out of slacks, got dirty, but it was okay. Mom made me confident, comfortable in my skin. I was tall, she taught me to embrace it. Whatever I'd dislike in the mirror, she coached me to love as who I am. I did this with my boys. Embrace who you were created to be. Love starts in the heart.
@@lionfan96I thought puberty blockers were only for such cases. There’s a reason why I wouldn’t let you get a tattoo is because what you like today you can dislike tomorrow. Having boobs and a period is normal, I also explained to her that her sister at her age was the same way. She’s almost 15 now and is accepting of herself, if I would of bought into what they are pushing I would of done great damage to my daughter, I’ve told my kids that your are perfect them way you were made.

I was a tomboy growing up, had pride that I was stronger than my brothers being the oldest... but once puberty hit, I was mad because I slowly found out that it was out of my control.... my brothers grew stronger and stronger and I had to work harder if I wanted to get buff. My parents never talked to me about any of this.... so I had it rough. Thank God I didn't grow up during this decade or they would've tried to turn me trans for sure. I finally accepted my femininity and it's value in my 20's.
Same! Same same same!!! If I was born 10-20 years later, I would have almost definitely ended up going down the trans female turning into male pipeline. I was a “tomboy” girl. And it was 100% due to the fact that my mother and society taught me that “Girls are weaker than boys. And girls have a harder time in life than boys..” My mother used to say things like that to me, word for word. If the parent tells a 4 or 5 year old kid that they are going to be weak if they are a girl-then of COURSE they are going to want to be a boy. And the same goes in reverse. Let’s say you have a male little boy, and his mother tells him, “Men are bad! Men are mean, violent, angry creatures. Men hurt people. Women are gentle, beautiful, and loving.” And you get an empathetic little boy who doesn’t want to hurt other people. Of course he is going to say inside his little brain, “Being a man is bad, I don’t want to hurt people! I want to be nice to people, so therefore I will be a girl!” And society accidentally reinforced those lies that were told to me in my life back then-back then, there was less girls in science, for example. Less girls in engineering. Less female doctors. Less female rocket ship builders. Etc. Women only got to either like makeup or stay at home and make babies and clean and cook. And all the clothing and toys(especially back then in the 90’s and 00’s) was like… ridiculously gendered. So sexist. The toys that girls only got to play with were sparkly neon makeup, dress up princess clothing, and Barbie dolls, and baby dolls. And boys got the cool toys like science kits, Lego sets, building stuff with tools, medical toys, bows and arrows, etc. and I liked that cool science stuff! I had several construction building kits. I had science kits. I liked play fighting games. I had a whole arsenal of pretend knives, bows and arrows, shields, swords, armor, etc. (I wish someone had taught little me about badass female Vikings! Being good at fighting to protect people you love, doesn’t have to be a male-only quality!) But I liked toys that boys were supposed to like, and I liked sports-so that would have made me female to male trans, right….? In today’s society, sadly it might. And even at school, the boys would pick me last for playing kickball or for sports teams, because I was the only girl in my classes who wanted to play kickball or play sports. They would even pick the boys who couldn’t kick as far as me, before me. 🙄 Because I was a “girl”. So I thought inside my little head, “I don’t want to be weak! Girls are weak! I want to be strong! I need to be a boy to be strong! And I want a job that makes a big difference in the world, I don’t want to stay home and cook and clean! So I don’t want to be a girl. I need to be a boy!” And I thought that way for a LOT of years. Even accidentally subconsciously, I viewed being a woman as being “weaker” than men. And it took years of self therapy that I basically gave myself as a teenager, to become more comfortable with my gender. And learning to not be afraid of looking beautiful, and that it wouldn’t make me “weaker”. and after I became a christian at age 21, I did even more years of prayer therapy with God and a several christian counselors. And now I understand that women are just as strong as men-our strengths just lie in different categories. Strong in different ways. And also it depends on the individuals themselves too, and almost nothing in life is black and white. Plus the gender talents can overlap. Plus some of the modern church does teach some lies and gender misinformation as well, but that’s a different story… Anyway. By like 17 or 18, was glad I was a girl and hadn’t transitioned into being a male. Like I was comfortable enough in my own female skin to be like, “Whew. I am glad I didn’t become trans. I like looking cute in a dress some days, when I feel like it. And looking cute isn’t necessarily a bad thing. And I’m not weaker, girls can be scientists too.” And even THEN, I was still not 100% fully comfortable in my gender until maybe like age 26 or so. Because then I had to break out of some christian church lies about gender that get forced wrongfully into women… and actually women CAN teach and those verses that supposedly claim that women are weaker and claim that women cannot teach men are taken out of context… But anyway. Long story short: it was only because of society’s lies, and my mother’s lies, and school kids’ bullying at recess, and some church bullying, that I had accidentally believed that girls were “weaker” than boys. And that those lies had tricked my mind into wanting to be a boy and not a girl. I was never really gender dysmorphic. But in today’s times, I would have probably been told that I was experiencing gender dysphoria. And been transitioned to male. When all I needed, was some therapy, to heal the trauma. And some gender-reaffirming care, for someone to reaffirm for me that being a woman is: strong, smart, beautiful, can succeed in sports, can succeed in the military, can do anything she wants, can be a rocket scientists or an automotive engineer too, can be a pirate or a Viking too, etc. And for someone to tell my that “being a girl didn’t make me “weaker” or “less than” boys.” And these kids today are getting the opposite type of care. 😭😭😭 Maybe a small subset of the population truly is transgender, like Blair White teaches, and it is discernible on a brain scan. I don’t know about that, I haven’t researched it. But we can say with a high level of certainty that 99% of the people in today’s era who are being projected as “trans” might not actually be trans at all. There is a high chance that they were just fed lies in their childhood and teenagehood, that made them believe lies, and made them uncomfortable about their birth gender. And sadly, many times, sexual assault plays a role in wanting to transition too. A victim of assault might see a transition to the other gender as a way to “escape” the assault and then say to themselves “the attacker won’t ever be able to attack me again, when I am a different gender.” So many kids need therapy for assault. Instead these kids get society and bad therapist pushing on them, “Omg you’re trans! And if you don’t transition you’re going to be miserable the rest of your life and want to kill yourself!!!! Transitioning will fix all your problems.” And panicked, they think, “I don’t want to be miserable and kill myself! I am already miserable. My therapist said that this will fix my issues. I should transition.” And then 3, or 5, or 10, or 15, or 20, or however many years later… They realize they were never truly trans at all. And they were rushed into it. When they needed a different type of therapy. But it’s too late now. Some level of permanent damage has already been done to their body. :( The society online and therapists rushing to tell kids “you’re trans”- is so dangerous. So many of them aren’t actually truly trans at all. They’re lost and broken kids who need therapy to undo some lies and trauma.
When I was 5 I realised that I would never be strong enough to win a fight with my dad and one day my brothers would be. So a child can have a realistic world view.
Also so glad I did not grow up in todays push for “labeling” girls that are tomboys with gender dysphoria. I grew up with 4 brothers and definitely felt the perception of boys being “better”. When I was very young I even denied being a girl seeing the positive response my brother (3.5 years younger) got especially from family that hadn’t had a boy in the family for generations. I hated and still dislike cooking. I am an engineer and trumpet player. I am now the mother of 4 and a grandmother. My husband does most of the cooking still. I wear mostly jeans and no make up. That does not make me a male. I pray that our society would stop defining people by their sexuality only. It’s another tool to divide.
I finally completed my internet quest of finding someone like me with the with a similar situation and viewpoint. "Thank God I didn't grow up in this decade or they would've tried to turn me trans for sure." This is exactly what I've been saying. Thank you!

My ex girlfriend is a trans man who regrets transitioning. She was encouraged in middle school to start thinking about transitioning because she was a tomboy who was attracted to girls and when her parents asked her if she wanted to be a boy she thought it seemed fun. After hormones and top surgery she realized she likes boys and wants to be a girl and a mom. But her parents and therapist encouraged her to try and reject those feeling s and commit to transitioning. After she finished hormone therapy she was infertile, which was something she was specifically told would not happen by her doctor. When we met she was suicidal because of how hopeless she felt in her situation. We dated for six months and fell in love. But she was ashamed of her body and that she couldn’t make babies knowing both of us want to be parents. I didn’t hold that against her, we could have adopted, but she couldn’t keep the suicidal thoughts away and eventually broke things off with me and moved away because a relationship was to much for her to handle being that unstable. She couldn’t handle the guilt, shame and regret she felt. The more supportive I tried to be the more she felt bad about being with me. When she shared her experiences and regret with me it was the saddest and most hopeless thing I could ever imagine. She was so young, impressionable and trusting as a kid and the people she trusted ruined her life. Anyone who thinks kids are old enough to to consent to that madness should know this. At 18 she changed her name to Richard so she can go by Dick because she thought it would be funny to be a Dickless Dick. But she hates the name Richard. When she told people her name is Dick and the reason why she would get made fun of, which should be expected when your friends are that ages. So after only a couple weeks she started going by Richard, which she hates. She’s so traumatized by the changes she did to herself that she refused to change her name again. So every time someone calls her by her name it reminds her of all of her regrets. That’s not the decisions making of a person who is mature enough to make those decisions. She was 18 when she did that. They are pushing this stuff on kids way younger than that.
I just wanted to note that you can tell how difficult it was for Chloe to talk about all of this. Thank you for sharing, and for having the courage to do so.
She's autistic. It's difficult for her to do just about anything. You won't find a clip online of her coherently stringing words together, even if it's on the topic of her favorite ice cream.
This man has such real compassion for people. Much more so than the so called doctors who are butchering both the minds and bodies of children. I hope someone is watching this who needs to hear Dr. Peterson's explanation.
yt and other social media platforms have been censoring Jordan Peterson over the last 5 years and other experts in the field of psychiatry and psychology because they were speaking the truth. There is a faction that wants to promote the myth that children should be transitioned. The main stream media and social media were also censoring detransitioners from being able to tell their story. This only changed recently when elon bought twitter. Finally the majority is fighting back and demanding the truth so now we can hear Chloe and thousands of others. This is the same level of censorship that occurred with the pandemic in which the actual scientific and medical experts in our country were made to go completely silent or lose their careers.
@@ndakhotmail oh yes!! I’ve made that point before!! We brought their researchers and experiments here to the US after the war. This is just a continuation of that
It's the fact that she has my EXACT story and I went most of my life being "androgynous" and "gender fluid" and feeling like I "should just be a boy" until I had my son. And it took me being pregnant and this all happening for it to make me realize I'm autistic, my son got diagnosed. And everything made sense. Gender and sexuality were always confusing to me as a kid until I saw all of this occurring and it made me realize it was just a lot of trauma and misunderstanding that women come in all shapes and sizes and i wasn't any less attractive for not being societies "ideal" as a young human. At 32 I'm happy as hell that I'm a woman and I've worked through most of my trauma. But like bigger people getting skinny, you kinda never forget the mentality you had and the realization about how you thought you were experiencing life versus what was actually happening. Being so literal when being autistic, we need someone to give further explanations. Or it's literally black and white and we just take that because we just want to not feel "weird" and just want to "fit in and be normal". I was not like most girls.. but that was okay. I wish someone had told me.. I hated myself for so so long.
Jordan's level of focus, attention, compassion and knowledge is incredible. The Ontario college of Psychology in Canada should be ashamed for how they are treating Jordan. He has helped millions of people around the world, mostly for free. The College is clearly unfit for purpose
He might have helped many people, but he also spread a lot of misinformation and views that harm people. He might be a good psychologist by the book, but I genuinly don't think he's a good person.
@@TheWhills I think he overstates the harm trans people do, villifying them instead of trying to understand their arguements. From what I can see his actions aren't driven by compassion but rather a will to inforce a rigid world view and gain liking with other popular conservative personalities, like Ben Shapiro. I judge people on their intentions, and I don't believe his are in good faith. I also don't agree with his takes on systematic racism, but that's a bit longer of a discussion.
I have never had someone so clearly describe the development of adolescent kids. His video should be adopted as the standard in schools. I was stunned by the clarity of his understanding and explanation without judgment. That’s the type of information that people rarely see or are exposed to.
Much of it is very debatable and misandrist. The idea that women are more "vulnerable" sexually is ridiculous. They're more POWERFUL sexually. They have all the sexual power. Men develop the physical power, women develop the sexual power. And the "burden" of child birth has been completely vetoed by modern medicine, namely abortion and contraceptives (post-conception contraceptives in the case of women), and that burden has been passed onto men. Now it's boys and men who bear the risk from sex, as women hold all the reproductive power. Plus, if this is self-reported data he's using, it's very suspect. And then there's all the sociological factors. You can punch a boy and a girl in the face with the same force, the girl will report that it hurt her more.

I agree! I loved the easy-to-understand explanation of human development. It was taken from a clearly unbiased scientific view and presented in a way I've never seen done so well. I think this information is very important for people to view with an open mind though, considering the topic has a lot of bad information swirled around it... it can (unfortunately) sometimes fog up people's interpretation of what's going on and what's actually being said.
schools are center of indoctinations they are no longer there to teach...they have not for a while, seeing the amount of illiteracy , stupidness, lack of understanding, narcissistic, no national pride these the youth and young adults exhibit.
my child is 13 and going through puberty. She hates it, hair growing in areas they didnt before, wearing bralets, she dreaded her monthly period coz its annoying and uncomfortable, sometimes painful, she's become very emotional. I talked to my kid (couple times), told her my experience of puberty growing up, reassured her that what she's going through is perfectly normal, and that mama's always here and she can always talk to me about anything, and that how and what she's feeling is valid and she has all the right to feel that way.
As a physician with 5 children of my own, the eldest on the cusp of pubescence, this sort of conversation is EXACTLY what children transitioning into early adulthood need. It's honest, captivating, understandable, and it wastes no time with political or societal motives. Thank you to Dr. Peterson, and to Chloe for her honesty and courage.
He's often against both the right and the left even though he's more conservative and has more to say against the woke/radical left. I don't believe he has political motives. He's motivated by what he perceives as being the truth.
So, you as a doctor, how can you use your position in the medical field help spread the word? What Dr. Peterson and this lady is trying to tell the world needs everyone in the field of medical science supporting this message. I would say all doctors, no matter what field of study, needs to support this message. It should be an obligation. Too many people in the medical field fall short due to fear of political repercussions. Don’t be one of them.
I feel badly for Chloe but I'm glad she has shared her story. If those who pushed gender choice spent their time pushing self love & self acceptance, we wouldn't be in this mess now. Adolescence has always been a time of stress throughout man's history. Dr. Peterson knows his stuff and every adult & teen needs to listen to this material. Love & support your child as they grow. STOP allowing money hungry doctors to destroy the children you love !
We all have various sides to our personality. We must love All of ourselves.we were taught in college we must integrate to be at peace with ourselves. Woke was called a split psyche in those days. What happened to all that?
I really hope this gender dysphoria delirium fad goes away. if it grows rampantly humanity will go extinct. all our effort we put in to improve society and living conditions since the stone age will be wasted. everything we done and everyone who died to protect society would have been in vain.
Very sad and unfortunate. Yet at the same time, her story is now a public example for others to learn from. It's great she consented to us seeing this.
@DezertFox you're right. This culture's Evil cultural Practices needs to be put to a stop and cultivate all people in a natural loving way. This way is wrecking young bodies and minds for profit, making them into scientific experiments because of their unnatural methods.
I’m a 52 yr old female and this is the first time I’ve understood when I started puberty I felt such shame and guilt , growing into a woman. This intelligent man shouldn’t be at risk of losing his licence, he should be idolised for the clever man he is.
Unfortunately, being smart and loving is not a requirement to be parents. People make babies all the time with very little effort. Some parents are into the trans movements. My son at 3 year old hate orange. Following year, he love orange. Kids should never make permanent body changing decisions! Let them mature and then make decisions to avoid regrets later on.
The "professionals" that allowed this confused child (no offence intended) to embark upon such a horrifically missguided and permanently damaging endeavor should NEVER be able to work in the health sector, In any capacity, EVER AGAIN. Criminally negligent, the lot of them!. Thank you to this brave young lady for sharing her story, hopefully it finds it's way to vulnerable young ears that need to hear it the most. Brilliant content as standard JP 👍
Right now we are all victims of the medical and the Authorities, this last couple of years, Where they can they are sterilizing everyone they can. So one thinks they know what only God know. They have decided the earth needs fewer people, they are blaming all kinds of things that they themselves are causing.
The Ontario board of psychologists want to re-educte Dr Peterson over his words used on social media but nothing is said about the doctor that misdiagnosed this poor girl. What is happening? Does she have any recourse through the courts?
the doctors bend to the woke crowd, if they dont they might lose their job.. so dont blame the doctors, blame the woke crowd, and the people that listen to them
Trans surgery below 18 should simply not be a thing. This woman was able to access the actually committal part of transition way earlier in life than the left wants. And now people like JBP are trying to use this person, who mind you knew to detransition before reaching adulthood! Who would not have been railroaded into surgery at 18! to fearmonger about puberty blockers.
I want to express my greatest of admiration and respect for her, to have the courage to participate in this very personal interview. I'm sure everyone here has nothing but sympathy and encouragement for her, in hopes that someday she will develop a peaceful and content state of mind.
Not only is she courageous, but she is also incredibly clear-minded and self-aware. She sounds very mature and logical in her explanations. Had one competent professional taken the time to tell her the things JP is telling her here, the outcomes could have easily been less devastating.
@@maverickg1740 this is a girl that was born a girl and attempted to transition to male through the means described and is now transitioning back to female. She is a female.

You are a wonderful human being for also sharing this part of yourself :) Know that there are people who have made it to this video and have scrolled down to your lovely comment who will feel as though they aren't alone as well.
you are loved and even though I don't know you I will be praying for you and hope you get through this dark time. I am going through something similar myself and recently quit my first real engineering job. I think given enough time even the worst shit can change.
Thank you for sharing and being vulnerable. I'm happy you got some relief from his explanation. I am sure you are infinitely loved and I pray you will live a long, healthy, joyful life 🙏
Great interview! I’m a male to female back to male detransitioner and yea we all share so many of the same things in common… we want to avoid our pain that mase us hate who we’re were. I was lonely… I felt so bad about myself found “love” from transition but it wasn’t genuine but I now do love myself and back to living life as the man I have always been.
My heart goes out to this beautiful, intelligent young woman who was betrayed by those who should have protected and nurtured her! I pray she finds peace and self acceptance.
@@genodedemon5109 I assume she has a more masculine look because of hormone blockers being mentioned, and she had a double mastectomy. I forgot if she took testosterone, however, listening to her voice, it seems like she may have taken testosterone. All that can shift the body to seem more masculine. And she stated that she already had broader shoulders.
I'm so impressed with how brave this young lady is, going on public record discussing such a deeply personal thing in hopes of helping someone else. What a selfless act! You're an amazing woman! I have so much respect for you!
I agree,,, but she is probably doing what her lawyers told her to do, I hope she sues the hell out of these mad scientists that think they can usurp Mother Nature, and turn a girl into a boy. IT CAN NOT BE DONE!! You simply can not outwit God
@@TP-nx7uf Yeah, she has really been through it. She can probably never live a normal life, she is too damaged, but I do hope that all the “ Dr Moreau “and “Dr Frankensteins” that did all this to her pay dearly. I believe the only reason all this gender bending is getting traction is because it is highly profitable for the medical community. When it becomes a financial liability, we may see things return to normal.
This video should be shown in all schools as part of biology and sexual education. It is a travesty that the mental effects of puberty aren't taught to children going through puberty, and it's more needed than ever. How brave this young woman is in stepping forward to help young girls going through this themselves.
They are not going to show this or anything like this is school, as much as they should, because it goes against what they want the children to learn and believe.
On the contrary, in Ontario, Canada where I live, the Ontario school boards are (or want to start) instructing Ontario school staff (and encourage the other students) to hide a young trans (aka 'gender variant') student's preferred gender, his/her new chosen name and his/her chosen pronouns from this student's parents, supposedly to provide a 'safe space' at school for the child to 'live his/her true self' while supposedly protecting the child from possible parental violence upon hearing of their child's decision to transition. I would love to hear Dr. Jorden Peterson's response to this new development in Ontario schools and to hear what the effects he would expect to see develop in a child who is encouraged by the teachers and guidance counsellor to lead a double life as he/she lies to and deceives his/her parents at home. I would think that would vastly increase the child's feelings of depression, anxiety, guilt and possible suicidal thoughts.
They need to update it with the new stats which say trans kids have higher suicide rates (the only difference in problems with self modulation being the struggle of being trans) and despite the belief that the earth is being invaded by ship loads of trans people and taking over the schools, less than 1% of kids identify as trans with 1% of those kids regretting transition. That said, kids shouldn’t be getting surgeries until they are 18.
@@JustBuyTheWaywardsRealms It's impossible you didn't feel the effects. Your brain chemistry changes. And, yes, as Jordan said in the video, it is worse for girls.
I really appreciate this woman sharing and expressing her experience for the public, and it’s so wonderful to see all the support in the comments. It’s beautiful. As a trans man myself, I only hope this very specific case of de-transitioning is not used as a tactic to inhibit many older youth to get what they need as a person who is trans in this society. It is really hard to live in this world with that title placed on you, not because it’s wrong or perverted, but because of the opinions people hold about trans youth AND adults trying to live their lives. It may seem as if this is all new, but this experience has been around for centuries through indigenous tribes, religious practices, and old societies incorporating and accepting those who do not fit into the sexual roles of a biological male or female. These things need to be talked about, those who de-transition, but please accept the existence of people that do experience dysphoria and go through that mental strife. Thank you for reading! Knowledge is power and all voices deserve to be heard, even if I disagree with some.
You misspelled pathetic. Imagine making a terrible decision (because no one forced them to do this) and blaming everyone but yourself. Maybe they are a woman, to have this huge lack of accountability.
Agreed 100% Unfortunately, a lot of education establishments would not even countenance JP as he has been painted to be far right. Irony being THEY are far LEFT. Great silencing technique.
Honestly they should all be shown this as a part of their sex education. Like a lot of what they're dumping into the body dysmorphia bucket is the general tension teenage girls feel around their bodies as we go through puberty showing it as a matter of course would just help all the children. I do wish he'd mentioned the sexual harassment female children deal with when puberty starts because that shit is terrifying when you're a child.
In Japan there are many beautiful bathing areas in spas. Almost all have a rule of no tattoos allowed. If you show up, and you have tattoos, you can’t just say, “my fluid body expression has no tattoos, so you have to let me in or you’re “body expression phobic.”” No, you have tattoos. They have a boundary regarding that. But now you say “but there’s lots of people like me, a community, and our community has a abnormally high suicide & self harm rate & if you don’t respect our body fluid expression and let us do whatever we say we want, we have an abnormally high suicide & self harm rate.” Implying, but not specifically saying, that if you don’t just allow us to “do whatever we say we want” people will kill themselves, hurt themselves and it will be, at least a little, your fault. Unless you let this individual specifically or anyone in their group collectively “do whatever they say we want”, you are causing their harm & deaths. Oh, and you can’t question us, or we will say you are “phobic” which is now the worst thing in the world to be, so that should end any discussion and hopefully convince everyone that they should & must be submissive to “whatever we say we want”. Oh & also change all the rules & boundaries & schools & governments & everything to support us, and only us, 100%. Do what we say or people will die. Sounds like a hostage situation to me. (!??!? What’s happening ??!!?)
This poor girl is so nervous, just watch her hands. She is so brave, and doing this to help other children and parents that are confused. She needs an award for her honesty! Thank Dr Peterson for having her on, we applaud her and you for bringing this into the light.
As a mom who raised daughters through puberty, I can confirm that adolescents going through puberty will experience a wide range of curiosities and emotions. They do not know who or what they are. They have no idea what their preferences are BEFORE they experience anything. Leaving them be mentally and letting them ask questions was the best choice. Both of my girls thought they might be gay or bi simply because the other malformed teenage boys around them weren't interested. Has nothing to do with it. Children transitioning to adulthood do not know how to act or think like developed adults. I never told them no. I never told them they were bad, wrong, or gross. Both have grown out of it.
My armchair opinion is that this is the consequence of raising a weak willed society where nobody wants to hurt anyone's feelings. Parents do not want to hurt their kids feelings and so accept their confused feelings as truth rather than make them and themselves uncomfortable by guiding them through the confusion as they are meant to. Strong willed parents are seen as controlling, evil, and backwards to those who don't have the fortitude to guide the next generation properly. And our society gets to the point it is at today.
My mom is just like you and I grew out of it,honestly being a teenager is all about identity and exploring it on your own teaches you so much I'm 16 now and no longer "trans" I'm grateful to my mom for not judging me while I was going through it because it could've affected me mentally being a 13 year old that knew nothing but I can tell she's proud to see me growing and finding myself, she's the best
That's simply not true for everyone, so please don't generalize. I have always known who and what I am. I grew up with boy cousins as I was an only child and the only girl amongst those in my "family" I actually knew and spent time with. I still prefer guy friends over females because we usually vibe better. I never liked dolls, didn't like dresses for the longest time, I didn't/don't like makeup, high heels, or dolls. I still never once thought I was a boy and I have always known I was straight from the moment I started school and was around boys I wasn't related to. You don't have to experience things in order to know if you feel drawn to or repelled by them.
@@englishatheart When it comes to sexual preference Yes it is psychologically proven you need to experience these things and the emotions attached to them to know whom you prefer. This is why sexual abuse at a young age can drastically change the way a person views who is safe through attraction. This is not the same as liking or disliking inanimate objects like dolls or trucks. This the very basis of how we interact with the same and opposite sex in regards to trust, attraction, love, relationships, children, and a whole host of subconscious expectations that were shaped by.....Experiences. Even as a baby the brain is absorbing information and storing it for later use. As the brain grows so does the capacity to hold information and utilize it. Prefacing your argument with "not everyone" and "don't generalize" shows you are not actually thinking about the topic more than replying to correct.
It's because they are not naive like the target audience of Peterson - they are not going to let the first charlatan around the corner to manipulate them this easily. With an average person it's easy: just take some exceptional case, agree on the script with them, suggest this is a normal outcome and try to demonize all transgender people and all of the professionals that try to help them, and it will work, people will eat this kind of taboid-level nonsense gladly, thinking they are on the right side of the issue, little effort, instant gratification, ignorance is a bliss... but that board is not average people...
How? I guess because of the biased , unethical videos like this who can not be more further from the truth, lack scientific standards, and increase ignorance and stigmatisation against very weak and suffering population
I wish someone would do a study on the effect of ingesting hormones for 3 generations. This is the generation whose parents consumed a huge amount of hormones while pregnant. Immediately upon birth there are hormones in their formula. Almost everything they ingest as a baby, toddler, child and young adult is filled with hormones. How do we not make this connection? These kids had more hormones by the time they were 5 than a person normally gets in a lifetime. Progesterone, testosterone, estrogen, etc......all in their food for their whole childhood. How is that not at least considered to be the cause of gender dysphoria?
I grew up as a SUPER tomboy. As a 30 year old woman I’m extremely feminine. I could see how social media could have had an impact on the transition to begin with. Hope you’re doing well now❤
Ah yes, the political figures who want trans people to get surgery AT FIFTEEN. As if that's an actual political position and not some rogue doctor going against the course of the political left.
The clinic in London that performed 19,000 transitions on children is now closed and facing a class-action lawsuit brought by 1000 of their “patients.” Here’s hoping this catches on in America. I will give money to that cause.
I have 3 daughters. I have found that talking to them before puberty and before they get their period helped a lot for them to understand what was about to happen. My wife and I both spoke with them about it so it helped them to feel comfortable with coming to Dad. I'm not an ignorant guy and I'm not a guy who is afraid or grossed out by a woman's coming of age. They have come into their womanhood with no fear or awkwardness because we were always there for them
@Kris Ess My wife and I both do it. I do nothing to make it "weird". There is also nothing "weird" about a man knowing how a woman's body works. There's lots of men out there called doctors, specifically called gynecologist. Idk maybe you've heard of them.
What dr. Jordan patiently explains about a woman's negative emotions related to puberty has given me a sort of catharsis that no woke feminist agenda ever could. I could almost cry from hearing him. I could finally understand a part of myself that society had been overlooking and trying to smother with indifference. He is doing God's work for women and young girls out there and i cannot thank him enough for giving me this clarity on why i always felt that i lost a part of myself when i hit puberty. Thank you really.

Given that your deity is technically responsible for giving people all of these afflictions in the first place, this is an enormous dick move. (Leviticus 21:17-24)
You are pulling that verse without any context. That was a part of the law God gave the Israelites for which we can see several purposes, not just that of ordering their actions to righteousness. It was also to impart to them how incredibly holy God is and how set apart they must be for their sin to not cause them to die in the presence of the holy God. Since then, Jesus came to fulfill that law, so that through repentance and trust in Jesus (who He said He is and what He did in laying down His life for us on the cross), we are cleansed of our sin and brought into restored relationship with God with the hope of eternity with God rather than without Him in hell.

Thank you, Chloe for speaking about a deeply personal experience. I can’t imagine that it was easy for you to open up publicly about puberty and your struggles. I hope young girls hear your story and find peace and acceptance within themselves. I really wish I could wave a magic wand and give you back your perfectly healthy, functioning body. You deserve this and more. The doctors, teachers, and our government failed you and so many others. I’m so sorry 😞
I have big admiration for her going public with this interview and inform other girls who might have the same struggles she had. It is very strong of her to do so.
This man explains things in a way that would allow a man or woman going through puberty to understand they are normal and give them the facts to make a informed decision when they become an adult.
I think a lot of it is a matter of parenting as well. Not only not affirming their delusions if they go down that route, but encouraging them and helping them to understand that these mental stresses are normal during puberty. We all have to live through that, and I feel like many parents are failing to be the beacon through the fog for their kids. Frankly? I don't think we should be telling anyone to get their body cut up and their hormones modified in this vain pursuit of being the other gender. Because when you look at adults that have gotten their bodies modified like that they are still depressed, and oftentimes even more so because they are both sterile and irreversibly altered. It doesn't help anything except in the most extreme cases.
Absolutely relateable. Growing up, I was shamed by boys that I didn't have breast. This guy legit threw it as an insult to me that I didn't have breast and all his friends around him laughed and I felt humiliated. When my breasts and hips started coming in, I was also embarrassed for it. I remember hitting my hips regularly to 'make them go down' imagine all these up and down. Desperate to develop, desperate not to develop. It was exhausting.

I started becoming a tomboy at the age of 8. I am 25 now. From age 8 to 19 i would never have my hair down or wear any girly clothes. Now i do and i love it. Im happy my parents never mentioned a sex change and i also never even thought about it. Yes i always said i wish i was a boy but im blessed to be who i am without changing my gender.
When I was a kid in the 70's some girls were considered "tomboys" and would play sports with us on occasion and do their own tomboy thing. I think most of them probably look back and then look at this, and say "Thank God, there go I but for the grace of God". Some may have ended up preferring female companions and others found male companions I am sure... but they were allowed to grow up and make their own decisions. What happens today in some of these cases is purely evil and criminal.
I wanted to be a boy at the age of 13, at 16 I fell in love with a boy, and we got married later and had 4 children. My oldest daughter is 30, my youngest son is 5😊.
It’s really painful to hear how her emotional suffering was ignored as a child. People talked her into removing her breasts rather than listening to what she was feeling and reassuring her. At age 8 or 9, it’s very young for a child to go into puberty and it must have felt isolating to experience these physical and hormonal changes while the other girls were still playing with Barbie. When you start developing at such a young age you will be necessarily seen as strange not just by the other girls but also by their parents. No wonder she felt uncomfortable in her body … but how do we get from here to removing parts of her body? Puberty is not an easy undertaking and especially for girls as he explained there is a lot of added stress as they want to fit in and evaluate their value based on their physical attractiveness and how they fit in either the group. There are many many reasons why she may had a hard time communicating with other girls and settling into her femininity other than concluding that she should be a boy. Girls going through neglect or abuse at home for instance may feel uncomfortable with their femininity as it makes them more vulnerable, for the reasons he explained. If people talk about children in emotional distress, I ALWAYS want to know in what environment a child grows up and how it is treated at home!
Fortunately I had extremely supportive parents and lived in a different time than these poor kids when I hit puberty at 9. My mother had also been early as were my sisters. I still remember the early breast development and how uncomfortable they felt especially when involved with sports. One highlight though was I was able to help a fellow classmate who was crying in the toilets because she had just begun menstruation. I was able to reassure her she wasn’t dying, rather she was growing up and take her to a kind female teacher for help (rather than our male teacher). ❤️from Australia 🇦🇺.
I was thinking this the whole time. Starting her period at 9 must have been so traumatic. I have a 9 year old and I can’t imagine what that would do to her because she’s still so young mentally. My heart goes out to Chloe and she is truly brave, coming forward like this and having these hard conversations, publicly. 💜
This might be an unpopular opinion but not helping girls feel comfortable wearing "feminine" clothing is damaging. I am talking from personal experience. I appreciate my parent's respect for my decision but it was incorrect thing to overly respect it.

I haven’t seen the full-length interaction between these two, but it’s fascinating how even in this one short bit of it, she starts out stiff and uncomfortable and self-conscious and having to be brave and get through… Then when Peterson explains typical female puberty experience, her body language and facial expressions completely change. She almost blooms toward the camera like that’s where the sunlight is-like she’s being seen and heard for the first time. I wasn’t expecting such a transformation, because the amount of time Peterson spoke, in this clip, in relation to the amount of time he listened was skewed toward speaking and not listening. Apparently she needed to hear from him everything he was saying. Very moving, very interesting.
If you watch every so cleverly yes he is talking way too much but he senses this is what she needs. And then when she talks it appears as if he is being dismissive and not listening and taking notes when in fact he is creating a safe space for the thoughts to flow without any power dynamic
how BEAUTIFULLY this guy speaks, here are some great phrases "let me give you a little background, you tell me if anybody has ever told you this before" "there's a variety of explanations for that, but no one knows for certain and here's some of them" "i dont know how much of that was explained to you by your therapists" "everything that you experienced, although you may have experienced in an exaggerated manner for some of the reasons you laid out ..... is par for the course" "you said that you were on the spectrum and you had an easier time communicating with boys than with girls, so here's something to know about that" "just so you know that" "you're not as neurologically or practically mature, when you have to contend with all these issues" "i want to take that apart too for everyone who is listening" "thats another thing to know" "you may have been told this, but perhaps you weren't" Soooo eloquent. This guys clarity of thought AND expression is just amazing. Love listening to him talk. The subject doesnt even matter, but is always interesting anyway.
This man in the first 2 minutes has talked more than any mental health professional I’ve ever seen. I think I’m going to start listening to him as I’ve just come across the channel
I recommend! Mr Peterson is not only very intelligent but also so sincere. And Big plus he differentiates between ideas and fact. By the way, he has a daughter who is also very thoughtful and insightful. You might like her, too.
oh my god, I literally want to cry. she sounds exactly like me and what I went through, the body dysmorphia and puberty not working like you thought it would really hit close to me. I feel like the only difference between her and I is that I never underwent surgery. wow. I'm so scared for future kids, not everything has to be labeled and medicated. I feel like a lot of us proud and confident women today were also tomboys when we were young and played in the dirt and looked for snakes, and we didn't have the internet to rope us into communities where people with undiagnosed mental illnesses collect and feed into each others' (I'm sorry, but) delusions. the internet can be poisonous to a growing mind. I know it had an effect on why I cut all my hair off and binded my chest for 2 years when I was 15. I was online way too much and let it influence me to believe I must've been trans because of the complicated body image issues I was dealing with. but the girl in this interview put it into words perfectly. I feel for her so much.

Imo, I think that, even more than barbiturates and sedatives in the 60s and 70s, damaged the approach to mental health and the endless drive to label and medicate everything. If my kid has ADD and she'll grow out of it, then why would I toss amphetamines down her throat? When I asked her teacher and the school nurse this, what it basically came down to was that it makes their lives easier. Same goes for this. It's completely normal for kids to have these feelings of discomfort or uncertainty about their changing bodies and feelings and behaviors, so it's a matter of convenience to slap a label on it and give them a transitioning steps to follow. It gives them a plan of action to "handle" it, rather than to just go through the hard parts and to learn from them. I cannot imagine how emotionally stunted a person would be after blocking their puberty for years or corrupting their bodies natural development, which includes chemical shifts in the brain that occur at adolescence. If we think we have a problem with prolonged childhood now, give it another 10 years... These poor kids are being absolutely abused and you can't say anything about it.
Growing up w internet can be dangerous! Love to read your experience. Im gay n was very troubled back as a 12 yo, talking to pedos n planning a suicide Its weird when they say “the community” when it only put me in danger, and this happens to most people, they enf up feeling unstable n suicidal if they get into that ideology!
She seems lovely, I'm sorry those doctors were allowed to do the damage that they did. Jordan is fighting a very important fight and we need to support him
This is why I always say that you should give a kid something to be good at, so they have something else to think about, something to be proud of, something to help them find friends. Music, gardening, running, it doesnt matter, but skills and hobbies help so much.
As a mother of 3 grandmother of 6 and worked with children from babies to adulthood, I could not agree with you more. If they enjoy doing something, and they are given encouragement and support, it helps to stop them moping around just thinking, and they focus on the hobby/pastime and friends with a shared interest. Puberty passes much faster if they aren't focusing on it all the time. I'm really glad you of your comment. Thankyou.
An idle mind is the devils playground. Add the internet to a child's free time and these are the results you get. Children are being groomed in communities filled with mentally unstable adults into weird lifestyles. Lifestyles they wouldn't have developed a taste for if they were among peers and allowed to be children and now pawns in someones agenda. Great comment.

Chloe Cole is just an amazingly articulate, well-informed and brave young woman. I often wonder if she yet understands how she has made her tragedy into a help for thousands of people. What a magnificent thing, so young, to choose to do with your life. God bless her. Also, I just love listening to Dr. Peterson; he is brilliant but he also can explain complex psychological theory to a layman in a way that is very understandable. At the same time, Chloe is so bright that she must have really enjoyed and gained so much from this session with him.
Her story is normal! We need to stop letting the adults tell our children that their normal ups and downs of growing up are abnormal and treating them as medical patients. PROTECT OUR CHILDREN AT ALL COSTS!!
The things she went through personally, socially and how she processed that growing up which helped fashion her life path is what made her a medical patient. Yes she experienced a lot of similar thoughts and feelings we all go through in a body conscious world but it affected her more than most for various reasons. That's why she's a medical patient.
So many things JBP touched on that hits home with me. I was also a tomboy but not really interested in things but sports and activity. I was socially awkward because of circumstances of abuse and being poor and lack of guidance. I didnt even really dress in feminine colors till about 2 years ago. I had an aversion to it and to attention even though that's what I needed I couldnt accept it. I am almost 50 and all this self work hurts but I am glad to learn about myself and discover my identity in Christ which gives me the hope that we need to keep pushing on in life.
Chloe is my favorite de-transitioner activist, she is such a pure soul, I always feel very bad for her, and I wish her a great life to find her loving parter and living as full life as she can. ❤
I was a tomboy. I had only brothers. My mom had only brothers. I didn’t like most “girly” things. I also started puberty quite young (but not as young as my grandma (8) or my mom 10)). BUT I had parents who recognized that, while I had a lot of masculine traits, that I was still a girl. And they they never tried to FORCE me to be anything, just taught me that I was always a girl and that it’s ok for a girl to have masculine traits. Now, I am a grown woman in my 30s. I still have some masculine likes/traits, but I am absolutely, 100% a woman. And I’ve never questioned that. Because my parents were great. They let me play with Tonka trucks over Barbies (all my Barbies ended up in the mud haha), and they never forced anything on me, but they also always made sure I knew it was ok to be a girl and like “boy” things. Not everything I liked was boy things, though. I hated Barbies and the color pink, but I loved my cute outfits and my karaoke machine (with mic) that had my favorite Whitney Houston tracks. If I had the same likes and my parents were ridiculous today? I could have ended up a boy! With irreversible damage I’d definitely want to undo because I’m definitely a straight female! I got so lucky. I can’t imagine the trauma everyone is going through now (and even 20 years ago) that makes them think they’re transgender!
Dr. Peterson nailed it! I remember going through puberty (I’m female) and it was emotionally traumatic. I was very embarrassed about my body. I didn’t have gender dysphoria, but I was very self conscious about the changes that were happening in my body.
As a boy/man I never appreciated what girls/women go through. Its very different for boys/men albeit we have our own problems. Perhaps if this aspect was properly explained to children we'd have better outcomes.
Boys too. I had many, many really weird times (as I’m sure we all did)… but it really seems women go through a lot more than men! Boys will probably never understand it - but this explanation was quite eye opening.
I think a big problem with society is we lost the rights of passage that brought community and security to children going through puberty. Many indigenous and traditional cultures have rights of passage ceremonies to mark a girl's first period or a boy becoming a man and I believe that helps mitigate a lot of confusion and trauma this change can cause when faced alone.

What craziness! How can any parent let their child start transitioning at such at young age? Any parent knows that we all go through many emotional barriers in our youth. I just can't comprehend how any loving parent can think that transtioning is the answer to a childs emotional problems. What a good explanation this doctor has given.❤
If you watch the full interview, Dr. Peterson actually goes into this at least a couple times. He talks about the pressures and basically manipulation that healthcare "professionals" inflict on parents of children suffering like Chloe.
What I find absolutely CRAZY is that there are doctors who go forwards with that at such young age and that it is actually legal to do that. A minor is not able to buy alcohol but is able to do this??? UNbelievable. Doctors should have told this girl and her parents, wait until your 18 at least.
@@jjjordan3881 Exactly, me neither. And that it is legal by law even less. So don't drink, don't drive, don't get a tattoo and don't vote, before 18, but hey chop your breasts off and take treatments that have no way back, you're old enough for that. Completely unbelievable and unethical to be doing this as a doctor, as a healthcare specialist and as a system that should protect minors.
I know of parents who were bullied by the health care system. It was taken out of their hands. The child was transitioned because that was what the child wanted,, and they were made out to be monsters. Side note.. the child was always different. Very immature, liked to wear dress ups even as a teenager and knew how to manipulate any situation to get what he wanted. The child/now adult has now be diagnosed as autistic... after transition. This should have been investigated first. Those 'educators' should be prosecuted for what they did to the child who cannot possibly really understand the ramifications at 13 and the parents for completely dismissing them. They wanted to put the breaks on...the psychiatrists just went with what this child said. Too late now.... absolute tragedy.
We ALL go through "the awkward phase" during puberty. I look entirely different than I did during puberty, and even some time after puberty. I even went to a middle school reunion, (it was a private school) when I was 19 and NO ONE recognized me. At 12, I felt so humiliated because I thought I looked more like a boy, and that was by comparison to 14 other girls in my small class. I was a later developer, not just in my breasts, but in emotional maturity. I was a goodie goodie which only alienated me more from my peers. But I felt so out of proportion while my classmates looked beautiful. (In my mind, I felt like they did) but they were ALSO dealing with awkwardness during those times, one friend developed "way too early", in her feelings... and that was equally as hard for HER as mine was for me. Then when I suddenly seemed to get breasts overnight, I had a mean girl tell people I stuffed my bra which was not true. I was so naive I didn't even know what she meant. (Emotional immaturity) The whole reason I think gender changing should NOT be for teens is because you have NO IDEA what you may be freaking out over today, will be completely non-existent in 3 years, for you. By the time I reached high-school, I began to accept my body and feel good in my skin again. I was not a supermodel but I was okay. I can't even imagine making PERMANENT changes to my body at 13 or 14 or even 15 or 16, considering how much my body AND brain had developed from those years. By the age of 20, I was damn near flaunting my looks. I was proud of my body and mind. Something I never thought was possible - at 13. I'm 47 today. I don't understand today's parenting or teaching to kids. I try and try and try but all I keep thinking is "omg, but you are just a child". At 13, you feel like everything is lasting FOREVER. At 20, you see how silly your 13 year old concerns were. So WHY ON EARTH would we encourage kids at such a awkward age, to change themselves, when nature is changing them for them. Caterpillars look really awkward and uncomfortable in their chrysalis. Until they hatch out of their awkward phase, they have no idea they will be able to FLY and they will look BEAUTIFUL. They just know that things are weird for that moment. Wait until you see what you are as a butterfly 🦋 before changing anything during the NATURAL transformation part. Please.
Sound, loving, experienced words. Perhaps one of the hardest aspects of parenting children through adolescence is that they go through phases where they rebel against everything and anything. As parents we feel a great responsibility (understandably so) to rein them in. This is where the danger lies and we become more succeptible in our desperation to assign explanations and explore options that in the long term do more harm. My daughter struggles with depression and anxiety. Through her teen years, she became irratic, hostile, and suicidal. I could see my beautiful daughter underneath all of that but could not get to her for years. At one point, we finally tried medication. She would fall asleep at the dinner table (straight passing out in her food), had horrific self mutilation nightmares and finally just shut down. I took her off the meds and we were back to the other end of the spectrum for a while. As you pointed out, she was going through the transformation. Things were definitely weird. The best thing I could do is meet her where she was. Accept the difficult place we were in. Be present. Loving. Reassuring. We struggled...for years! Today, I could not be more proud of her. My beautiful (inside and out) daughter is a feirce, well spoken, hard working, loving mother who has wisdom, strength and determination well beyond her 26 years. I think back on those deeply painful years and see how vulnerable we were. I'm grateful we did not fall into the wrong hands.
We dont let them have sex but we're more then happy to let them SexChange... I dont know where the mental gymnastics happened exactly but society is losing the plot.
I felt this way growing up as well. I was never thought how to embrace my feminity and never knew how to take care of myself, so I grew up feeling ugly. Small chest, and NOWHERE near as curvy as literally EVERYONE else around me (I'm from Cuba), including my gorgeous mom and grandmother. I felt like I fit in with the boys more. In sophomore year I had a crush on a girl and I started wanting to dress more like a guy. My family is the reason why I didn't end up on that path that she did. Also that soon after I got over the girl crush, I fell on love at first sight with a boy. Fell so hard that 10 years that boy is my husband and still the man of my dreams. Nothing has empowered me more as a woman than the support and love of this man. I'm blessed, but it obv doesn't go that way for everyone, and it breaks my heart. If you are a little girl or little boy and you really want to transition, pls just wait a little longer. You might eventually love who you turn out to be, just trust the process for a bit longer, pls!
Ironic how this man is at risk of losing his license and yet the doctors that completely screwed this young woman are not being prosecuted.

I would have been such a better person if he was a guidance counselor.
first of all, someone like him, would never teach at school, he's way too educated just to work at a school.
Any parent who allows their child to do this stuff should be charged with child abuse.

I want to be nice to people, so therefore I will be a girl!”
And society accidentally reinforced those lies that were told to me in my life back then-back then, there was less girls in science, for example.
Being good at fighting to protect people you love, doesn’t have to be a male-only quality!)
But I liked toys that boys were supposed to like, and I liked sports-so that would have made me female to male trans, right….? In today’s society, sadly it might.
And even at school, the boys would pick me last for playing kickball or for sports teams, because I was the only girl in my classes who wanted to play kickball or play sports.
They would even pick the boys who couldn’t kick as far as me, before me. 🙄 Because I was a “girl”.
So I thought inside my little head, “I don’t want to be weak! Girls are weak! I want to be strong! I need to be a boy to be strong! And I want a job that makes a big difference in the world, I don’t want to stay home and cook and clean! So I don’t want to be a girl. I need to be a boy!”
And I thought that way for a LOT of years.
Plus some of the modern church does teach some lies and gender misinformation as well, but that’s a different story…
Anyway. And I’m not weaker, girls can be scientists too.”
And even THEN, I was still not 100% fully comfortable in my gender until maybe like age 26 or so. Because then I had to break out of some christian church lies about gender that get forced wrongfully into women… and actually women CAN teach and those verses that supposedly claim that women are weaker and claim that women cannot teach men are taken out of context…
But anyway.
And for someone to tell my that “being a girl didn’t make me “weaker” or “less than” boys.”
And these kids today are getting the opposite type of care. 😭😭😭
Maybe a small subset of the population truly is transgender, like Blair White teaches, and it is discernible on a brain scan.
A victim of assault might see a transition to the other gender as a way to “escape” the assault and then say to themselves “the attacker won’t ever be able to attack me again, when I am a different gender.”
So many kids need therapy for assault.
Instead these kids get society and bad therapist pushing on them, “Omg you’re trans! And if you don’t transition you’re going to be miserable the rest of your life and want to kill yourself!!!! Transitioning will fix all your problems.”
And panicked, they think, “I don’t want to be miserable and kill myself!
I am already miserable. My therapist said that this will fix my issues. I should transition.”
And then 3, or 5, or 10, or 15, or 20, or however many years later…
They realize they were never truly trans at all. And they were rushed into it. When they needed a different type of therapy.
But it’s too late now. Some level of permanent damage has already been done to their body. :(
The society online and therapists rushing to tell kids “you’re trans”- is so dangerous.

Doctor should be liable. That is very disgustingly gross.
Government needs to change first - what’s being pushed is coming from that :(

Well stated!
yt and other social media platforms have been censoring Jordan Peterson over the last 5 years and other experts in the field of psychiatry and psychology because they were speaking the truth.

Jesus said, "I tell you the truth no one will see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me." For God so loved the world that He give His only Son that whoever believes in Him will not perish but will have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world but to save the World through Him. For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord, and All who call upon the name of the Lord will be saved.

At the end of the day, is it an identity crisis? A confidence thing? When you say you felt bad about yourself, what exactly is this “bad?”
My heart goes out to this beautiful, intelligent young woman who was betrayed by those who should have protected and nurtured her! I pray she finds peace and self acceptance.
Damn....I feel bad for her. Does she look more masculine because she de-transitioned? I'm honestly confused.

@@genodedemon5109 I assume she has a more masculine look because of hormone blockers being mentioned, and she had a double mastectomy.
That said, kids shouldn’t be getting surgeries until they are 18.
that's strange i never felt the effect of puberty(i'm a men maybe it's less stronger for men)
@@JustBuyTheWaywardsRealms It's impossible you didn't feel the effects.

Instead of the sex education they are pushing to K-3 this would be much more beneficial.
If you show up, and you have tattoos, you can’t just say, “my fluid body expression has no tattoos, so you have to let me in or you’re “body expression phobic.””
No, you have tattoos. They have a boundary regarding that.
But now you say “but there’s lots of people like me, a community, and our community has a abnormally high suicide & self harm rate & if you don’t respect our body fluid expression and let us do whatever we say we want, we have an abnormally high suicide & self harm rate.”
Implying, but not specifically saying, that if you don’t just allow us to “do whatever we say we want” people will kill themselves, hurt themselves and it will be, at least a little, your fault.

This man is Dr. Jordon B Peterson. He is amazing and unlike no other!! He has as much compassion as he does intelligence.

This is true! Those internet communities are dangerous, trynna put everything in good light while thwre are deep issues that should NOT be ignored!
Growing up w internet can be dangerous! Love to read your experience. Im gay n was very troubled back as a 12 yo, talking to pedos n planning a suicide
Its weird when they say “the community” when it only put me in danger, and this happens to most people, they enf up feeling unstable n suicidal if they get into that ideology!
She seems lovely, I'm sorry those doctors were allowed to do the damage that they did. Jordan is fighting a very important fight and we need to support him
They gave a 15 year old a double mastectomy? That is just pure evil. Every single Dr involved in that decision needs to have their license stripped.
This conversation is fascinating. It’s sad no one had this conversation with her before transitioning.
Exactly !
Well, now Dr. Peterson is having this conversation with thousands of similar girls simultaneously through UA-cam.
It's scary that this type of honesty is stifled to the point where this type of honesty is considered novel.
All of the adults in this young womans life failed her miserably. She's a cute long lady and I hope she can go on and make a good life for herself.
What a great insight. I will remember that advice
This age transition need some kind of ritual, so they know where they are in the moment they leave childhood. It not easy grow up.
Jordan is like a magician, using his hands to show the magic trick and yet explaining the magic trick with scientific research backup. Brilliant
This girl is so brave. And beautiful. I'm glad she got help and I hope she isn't too harmed from what she went through.
its a boy, dont be stupid
I listen to him for hours. The way he explains situations that dont even pertain to me, still teach me so much. He could breakdown just about anything to terms someone will understand.
Parents who put their children through transgender surgeries and such are some of the worst parents the world has to offer
but these days, if they don't, they can have their child taken away
@@recoveringsoul755 Perhaps, but that's a risk you have to take sometimes. Better to have fought the war and lost than simply given up before the first battle.
@@AdamA-pm3yn Amen to that!
Right up there with parents who kick their kids out of the house for being gay, before they're ready to take on the world.
What about the doctors that perform these surgeries, what kind of ethical values are they portraying.
Kudos to you!
@@7spiritualcompass706 thank you. It's been a long journey
Tomboy has nothing to do gender identity.
@@alexcholagh8330 so you're an expert now? You get to tell me how to feel and what to think?
@@alexcholagh8330 Its just a term for girls that are in to boy stuff and has been around forever. Its not one of the new made up 'genders'.
Chloe is my favorite de-transitioner activist, she is such a pure soul, I always feel very bad for her, and I wish her a great life to find her loving parter and living as full life as she can. ❤
Don’t feel bad for her, be proud of her :)
@@Showmetheevidence- As bad as girls have it at least they dont have to go through the dreaded BFNAR. Nothing is worse than sitting in a car in your swim trunks praying you will 'settle down' before you make it to the waterpark parking lot...
Puberty is hard for all sexes
@@JNL76can't believe any doctor would even consider doing these treatments and procedures. It's completely unethical imo.
(Emotional immaturity)
The whole reason I think gender changing should NOT be for teens is because you have NO IDEA what you may be freaking out over today, will be completely non-existent in 3 years, for you.
Beautifully put. I love this.
Beuatifully articulated! ❤
