20:15 "when you're in coping, you need to believe the world is an unfair and stranger against him _to cope!_ "
24:10 sometimes in life you're so needy and screaming so loud that no one can hear you; you're tuned out.
38:50 coping versus thriving -- you want to share. Like the guy who everyone in the room listens to. It almost comes from "another place"
40:24 by becoming "less" you become more. The stressed taxi driver was "more" -- he's also carrying baggage and pain into the situation
41:08 you change emotions with action, not logic. That's how you move from coping
42:11 walk with her. You might hang back. You feel into the situation.
46:24 your mind should be trained and in a mindset to actually appreciate the thing you're after.
54:08 you have to be open to receiving (it's not just giving 80%, you need to be able to recharge and build up, and you can give more)
56:40 if you're sharing so much, then how does it add more energy? Because the energy is coming from source. I'm just guiding the energy; it's flowing through. You're actually doing better than the typical way, too
57:44 this may be pseudo-sciency, but it's a point of reference about the ideal. Think through for yourself

Gratitude is the most important energy vibration because it's love. For those people who are just coping they must at least mechanically say thank you for something good that comes their ways and there are Many good things that come your ways all the time but most people don't even recognize those good things because they are tuned in to unempowerment. Gratitude is Empowerment. Practice this at least mechanically and see what happens. For the haters out there if you want to say something nasty to retaliate for someone else making you feel jealous, envious or ashamed (unintentionally) then do Not react with the usual nastiness. Then see what happens in you if you don't give in to the knee jerk reaction. Look within your own mind instead and allow yourself to feel whatever you are feeling in that moment. If you do that tears will flow and then you are in the now moment and that is the path of healing. Forget about shame and pride those are old stories from your parents that mean nothing at all. Tune into the now moment and allow the other person to be happy. I have seen the anger towards me Numerous times in chat rooms because they always write what they think with the incognito account. They lash out at me for being Happy as if I didn't deserve to be happy. Everybody Deserves to be happy! And you deserve to be happy. Do Not lash out and instead sit or stand with that emotion that wants to speak to you. End the resistance to the past trauma. Allow the raw emotion to come up and that is not about the other person who innocently happened to trigger your pain. This is about You so seize the moment and work with that and feel that past pain and cry with it. Then you are flowing with the now moment and it is Freedom.

I don't comment on videos much but this whole PUA life skill has taught me how to converse with not just women, but with strangers, my coworkers, my classmates, etc. When people discourage PUA I don't get it at all. I use to be a really shy guy until I learned about PUA. Now it seems like all I'm doing this year is hanging out with friends and girls that I meet in real life. I've gotten girls numbers, took pictures with models, but yet I still can't get one simple date lol. But it's fun and a lot of learning experience watching these videos not only from RSD but from simple pickup and other pickup artists. My life use to be depressing but now I'm truly happy even if the 20+ girls on my phone blew me off or never texted me back.

Quick summary of important statements at the beginning
    keep in mind:
As a person you are already fulfilled and complete and you doesn't need something from the outside
    answer yourself:
    1. How do I add value to a situation
    2. How do I offer positive emotions
    3. How do I feel into situations, recognize whats needed and offer
These attitudes will let you evolve a "natural instinct" to feel into every social situation..!

Thank you so much for these man. It's funny I avoided your videos when I was in coping. For a long time. I wouldn't even start to watch them. That's when I backslided and relapsed big time. I'm just now coming back into thriving and it's the right thing to do, it's obvious when I'm in it. But it's also a stumbling recovery. So anybody reading this know that coming out of coping and into joy is not going to be a smooth and perfect transition. You can't go from 0-100 and stay there permanently. You will relapse, you will backslide. Just keep waking up and coming back to positivity as much as you can. Videos like these are a godsend for helping to do that.

    • @1234kingconan
      @1234kingconan 7 років тому

In other words don't expect recovery and going into thriving to be 100% smooth and perfect without mistakes or backsliding. Acknowledging that helps me keep taking action instead of giving up.

  • @ryanlesko574
    @ryanlesko574 7 років тому +29

Woah. I was able to cook dinner and listen to this, and
receive it so well. His smoothness and
vocal cadence just seems to hum information from the ear to the brain, which
holds onto it longer than most people’s words.
Plus, the build up and structure to how Tyler orders his points. Not only that, but
Tyler, I have to thank you because my dishwasher just broke recently and
scrubbing all the dishes I had to catch up seemed like torture at first glance,
but time just flew by.. Almost as if I didn’t have to wipe a soap scrubber back
    and forth 150-200 times.
This video put me in a pretty good mood; I’m just going to
keep on typing. The red flashlight
through the green filter is crazy to think about. And for a split second after
hearing that, I was able to have a quick “That’s So Raven” glance, thinking of
times where I were super numb and flickering between green and red. Pretty much in third person. Extraordinary,
yet faintly painful. Also, that video
    with Luke promoting Social Circle
was great. I’ve seen Dan’s Instagram and I would see him in small appearances
on Lukes snapchat but still crazy to get enough time to see the vibe and feel out
the chill session. Evenly, a great way to start explaining the coping vs
thriving idea. By the way Luke, if I weren’t
saving up for new camera equipment and a drone I totally would have bought it
by now. My buddy and I do this meet up
every Monday at the local Starbucks with a bunch of Au Pairs, owed to many of
your social circle concepts. It really
is insane how effortless the conversations become.. the momentum and confidence
I feel after is becoming normal. They created a Facebook group which is now
bumping, bringing in many new Au Pairs within a 10 mile living radius every
Monday. Getting invited into multiple Whatsapp
groups, getting “no big deal” phone numbers, going from table to table, couch
to couch chatting, personal mini dates and looking in hindsight.. it’s so
surreal to me. Many of which I
subconsciously learned from all your videos, and the actions. Not that I think
about them in the flowy moments, but at certain times, I can now surge into a mindset
frame that mimics and resembles yours, Owen’s, Julien’s, Max’s, Jeffy’s,
Madison’s energy. Just from watching the
videos you and your team have consecutively added over the years. Then, later, being able to pull that
information and follow the leader, so to speak. I never thought about it as in depth as I am
now, which is a real chin stroker. 2 years ago, if I woke up and snapped my
fingers, an average Monday would not look the way it does now. Much thanks to the change you guys fountained
over me. And these are just from what I’ve seen from the free videos you gave
online, so I can’t imagine after I buy the products, let alone a boot camp.
    Hovering over a quick
dark point regarding coping, it’s sad to say in the beginning I was debating
just shutting off the video because of the one guy in the audience answering,
    responding, and talking over Tyler.
I’m so glad I snapped myself awake again.
I would have let one person get in the way of being able to soak up loads
of value. I think all the 2-7 minute
CNN, Fox, PBS, and MSNBC politic videos I was watching the past few weeks just
put me in this apathetic numbness on UA-cam.
Making it physically hard to watch your video at first because I was
just so caught up in the yo-yo emotion of “give me what I want to see now”
vibe. I can see the correlation to
watching your videos regularly and how much I consciously think about my
actions, how much I share in my classrooms, and exertion of energy. Super powerful stuff. Incredible. The foggy coat has left my eye..nudging
closer every day to keeping my visions focused and clear.
P.S. the titty lick and boob grab during the “Tyler!” chant… YES

Man i've been following you for two years and i'm finally starting to get it! I feel like a strong work ethic as opposed to laziness is the main difference between coping and thriving!
I'm watching this video while doing a workout at home. I will be sitting soon to eat an awesome healthy meal while texting the few amazing girls i'm seeing right now. Also sending/ receiving funny texts from the great friends i made along this journey. After the food i will be working on my side business( i work 9-5) that im trying to grow. I'm saying this just to show that its an ecosystem its not abt going out and trying to get girls its about living a life of your own design with plenty of choices. FREEDOM.
Btw its crazy how accurate the shit youre talking abt in the video is i can't beleive its actually free. Thanks a lot brother for everythinv you taught me and everything you do i appreciate you and im soo grateful for your virtual mentorship. I hope to see you in person someday! I think some negativity can be good as it's an energy that propels me out of coping and following society's expectations, gets me to overcome fear and danger and risk death etc. to do what I want and be how I want. That negativity can just be a form of courageous energy.

For a while of being in a relationship, I didn't want to hear advice from pickup/self-development teachers anymore. I thought it would be unfaithful or wouldn't resonate with me. I unsubscribed from a lot of RSD stuff I watched religiously. I decided to watch this video not expecting to enjoy it, but here I am halfway through, and I am feeling this amazing sense of inspiration and positivity that I have always gotten from these long Tyler videos. I think I needed to hear this performance/education on thriving because stress has put me into some coping lately. I feel like this thriving mentality and vibe that Owen is getting into here is applicable to so many areas of life in besides pickup. I think if I really get being present and thriving down, it will help me in my relationship, school, my future career, and anything else the future may hold. I'm not trying to flatter necessarily or suck up to anyone. I just soak up a lot of positive energy from watching these videos and felt the need to express that, as well as say Thank You to Owen and the RSD team for mastering the art of inspiration/motivation and using it to help people for free.

Your videos are ace as always Owen. Here is a poem I wrote a while ago which is my idea of what life is like.
    It's called: Shit Tests
    We all get shit tested
Whether we like it or not,
    By family
    By friends,
    By work,
    By life,
We need to take the blows
    get up and go
so we strive in this world
    free from ourselves
So go out and get shit tested
    Don't let the world
    Mess with you
    Show the best of you.

Watched this video yesterday, when I was driving to the MC Drive to get a burger and something to drink, I just said to the guy sitting in the MC Drive, good evening for you (before leaving), and he almost felt insulted, because he was trapped in his own head and sadness. So weird. But this teaching you gave here, is very powerful.

By the way, I went out to the bars tonight in a coping state, began communicating with friends and girls and started to shift into a thriving state. However, I was drinking and once I was drunk as soon as things started going badly I went back into coping mode and got became nearly impossible for me to get out of it since I was drunk so all I’m saying is if you go out in a coping state DO NOT DRINK. It might seem like a fix but it actually just makes it worse.

I was just thinking about guys (like me) who are in a 'coping' state of mind. By watching your video, I came to the following inspiration: everyone has disregarded wealth/abundance in them. By first figuring out what is going right for you and what you feel thankful for, you may begin to develop that 'thriving' vibe. Thanks lads & all the best from Dresden!!

Owen, thanks for all your videos! Feels like todays way of sharing information has given you a powerful platform to change lives. I have found over the course of around 3 - 4 years, that like any skill set, success with women is a trial and error process which requires persistence. Your video's are great reference tools for "sexually unsuccessful" men and I still watch them as they come out, despite now being more confident, and dating frequently these days. Helped me out of a depressing, demoralising dry spell ( 4 years! ) which is now far behind me. I look back now at the first kisses, numbers, and nervous one night stands and smile.
Every girl on the journey will teach you about the next, the upward spiral is a natural force.

So much value, awesome. What I'd like to emphasize on is that if people have been stuck in coping for many years, they have to understand that the body with its thought patterns and emotional system and so on is heavily conditioned to that state.... and they need to be patient and persistent with allowing the "internal system" to adapt to being open, which as Tyler says, is a completely different way of going about life. This "detox process" is not always pleasant, but of course highly rewarding.

Love it. The concept of "The Cup Runeth over," is definitely pretty nuanced. A lot of people can't really say that objectively about right, but they can shift their perspective of course, I've been there. It's hard to say that when you had sleep for dinner! But, when I was at that point, I would always remember that it's better to give, than to receive. Cheers, good work as always!

The thing is, sometimes it’s so difficult to tell the difference between the two paradigms. That’s when high quality male friends come into the picture. You want to surround yourself with guys who force you to look then in the idea and say that you’re happy and that you’re doing the best you can (and if you can’t, push your boundaries).
