I swear ever since i found out about RSD 4 years ago, you guys have been gracing my life with so much invaluable content and lessons that i can't even begin to describe how much appreciation i have for the whole organization, growing up without a Dad trying to figure out this world on my own has been tough but the lessons you guys teach really changed my life, You guys are like that guiding light/father figure in my life that i've learned so much from, Without RSD i would have never been to snap out of the groupthink that everybody around me was in and would probably end up at a job i hate for the rest of my life not thinking there was another way, without RSD i would have never gotten in to any sort of personal development and would be stuck doing frivolous shit all day smoking weed all day with my "friends" and doing nothing with my life, Finding out about RSD was like a light switch going off in my brain and following the lightened path all these years really has changed my life for the better and i couldn't thank you guys enough! Cheers to you guys

It's pretty cool how RSD teaches these life lessons from zen, evolutionary psychology, and universal principles in an entertaining way that makes it relatable and applicable. Props to Tyler and Julien for this video and the hundreds of other valuable lessons.

This is why i love watching RSD's videos. They go real deep on human psychological tendencies. Shed light on how our upbringing, environment, and inner dialogues, can affect our outlook on the world and our core belief systems. And how to take practical action in our daily lives to improve the inner issues we have, that constantly hold us down.

i'm hooked on these videos, but in a good way. sometimes i avoid them because of clickbait, but those end up being the ones i should watch because the content is relatable.

A good starting point, once awareness is being brought to this inner
dialougue consistently, is the use of 5 simple words. "These thoughts or
this thought is not me". With committed repetition each time awareness
is brought to the thought, the separation grows more and more. A good
feeling happens with each untieing of a knot. Simplify what appears to
be complex. The complexity is another illusion of the conditioning.
Thanks for the video Julien. Looking forward to program release .

Something which learned from Tyler through a video was the following: "Always ask yourself the following - What did I learn ?" Since then I put everything into perspective and try to grow and learn from anything (good or bad) what happens during everyday life - thank you for the vid guys , great as always :)

I've been in this state for many times. Nowadays things have changed a lot, thanks rsd max, julien, tyler... I have few stories which I got so many good results from really bad situations. what julian has said makes completly sense where you grow a lot when something really bad happens

"Carl Jung tells in one of his books of a conversation he had with a Native American chief who pointed out to him that in his perception most white people have tense faces, staring eyes, and a cruel demeanor. He said: “They are always seeking something. What are they seeking? The whites always want something. They are always uneasy and restless. We don’t know what they want. We think they are mad."

the biggest thing that changed this problem for me actually came from you guys but I implemented it subconsciously.
I just pump my state all the time with micro things that make me laugh. things like: teasing people (nicely), facial expressions, inside jokes, sounds, singing, being in my body and when I do something (could be as simple as flushing the toilet) Im like: "good job, I'm soo talented" in a funny voice.

  • @elaxel1469
    @elaxel1469 7 років тому +3

10:15 This is the most important epiphany I heard in RSD. Your subconscious mind keeps you in low mood and state as a survival mechanism.

  • @1622-p2t

Its tricky because if your in that negative space consistently it does feel like who you are so when someone tries to say its just a mental emotional pattern you keep repeating you'll feel diminished and ashamed because this is who you believe you are and that identity you believe yourself to be is being invalidated. So I guess you need to be gentle with the people so it doesn't crush them.
    Great video and content.

To get more of an understanding of the the Tao and zen ideas, get some Alan Watts audio books. He is such a great speaker and he was one of the initial instigators of this whole movement going back to even the end of the '50s. He more or less instigated the understanding of eastern philosophies and interest in Buddism and should be credited with so much positivity that has come from the self help personal development world. So much is made of the power of now and it's great but Alan Watts' Youre It' was 30-40 years before that. Krishnamurti was around when i was a kid in the 60's. It's so great the the ideas and essentially the same concepts still apply today. I love this stuff. Peace and thanks.
