Just a reminder Tretinoin is basically has to be used in night before bed., tretinoin is photolabile in the presence of light led to the recommendation that tretinoin be applied in the evening in order to avoid photodegradation, which could potentially reduce efficacy, Using it in daytime may make you more sensitive to the sun.
Also it takes out all the pimples even if you have less and occurs mild redness and burn. But eventually after months and years it will get along and your skin gets less acne

@@Pheilam Yes you can but not everyday better 3 days once would be enough as it may dry the skin pretty fast., try to layer up the tretinoin with a good amount of moisture which is also a important step.,
@@Pheilam it completely depends on your skin. My doctor suggested me to use this daily at night before bed. But one of my friend used it on her skin 2 times a week. So it's better if you use it with doctor's suggestion.

True using tretinoin with out dermatologist recommendations can cause severe bad acne in future because it depends on skin conditions and some time tretinoin can block your pores and then too much of sebum secretion can be clogged due to any reasons of acne such as hormonal issues and dietary changes or lactose intolerance and genetical acne this need to be treated in different way sometime skin is very sensitive so oral medication is required instead using tretinoin directly will form small hair follicles and comedonal blackheads or whiteheads which leads to severe bacterial infection and acne on skin..
According to the dermatologist you have to use very less tretinion. Secondly, start by using it for half an hour and then wash it off, increase this the next week by an hour and the following week overnight. Only use a moisturizer that has Hyaluronic acid alongwith broad spectrum sunscreen. When dermatologist says pea size they mean pea size so don't use one pea size portion on your chin and another pea size portion on cheek. And, don't use it around the corners of your eyes, nose, and lips. You have to apply a lil bit of vaseline around these arounds to avoid dryness and redness. Be consistent with it's use and don't use any other actives through this time.

@@celebritycastle7208 nope. 0.01% tretinoin is good for beginners. Please don't take this lightly especially when it comes to your face. No matter how much you feel like oh nothing will happen... So many dermatologist have said this time and again. And if you still have no option then introduce it very very slowly. Wash it off as soon as possible. And, only take a pea size no matter how big you think your face is. Put it on one finger, then tap on forehead, chin, cheeks and then with your fingertips spread it out. And, don't use any other actives. Everyday apply at the same time and wash it off.
Maybe you can keep it on for 20 mins today and then wash it off thoroughly.

@@celebritycastle7208 Please apply at night only and use a base layer of moisturizer before applying...(Once you feel you are having no reaction then apply it before); let the moisturizer be on your face for sometime before your apply the tretinon cream. Make sure to clean your face with a mild face wash... You can even apply the cream on your fingers to test it out but moderately and wash everything off gently. Repeat the process for max 2 weeks then use it for half an hour and then overnight. All the very best.
At first I clean my face with micellar water, then I use mild face wash... After that I use oil free moisturizer, nd finally I use tretinion on my face . I avoid my nose , under eye area nd apply some moisturizer. I use tretinion every alternate day. It's been 10 days I m using tretinion Nd I feel it's helping me.
I’ve been using tretinoin from past 2 months and I can clearly see my skin texture changing like minimised appearance of open pores ,small bumps and blackheads however , the red pimples continue to appear in between. Personally I have understood that its not the product side effects all the time rather monthly menstruation and consumption of milk and milk products at higher level also leads
to acne . So sometimes its difficult to classify whether it’s because of the products or other lifestyle activities.

@@shruthivarughese1930 yes i did , initially my doctor prescribed me tretinoin for my underarm pigmentation and later when i asked more about it , I started using it on my face . And it works wonders just needs patience.
Use it at night before sleep.
Dont use it more then twice a week at start.
Very slowly after months do trice a week.
And you are using alot reduce the quantity.
Expect the purging for 2 or 3 months , its normal.
Use sunscreen regularly very very very important
Dont let sun hit your face.

Heyy i just wanna say don't use more thn pea size amount the quantity u took looks more thn pea size amount.. I'm also on my retinoid journey (tazarotene) nd it purged like hell all over my jaw lines nd cheek for abt 2months 😫luckily It didn't purge on my forehead.. nd in the month of 3-4 it started to heal bt i had such bad deep acne spots nd currently I'm in the 5th month journey now my spots r clearing up bt surely it takes time to achieve almost clear skin 🙂 so no worries ladies don't feel hopeless retinoid journey isn't easy bt yeah u need to have patience to see tht glowy smooth skin ❤

Hi, Just so you know, it takes almost 6 months with consistency to see results. I hope you're using retinol at night time? Always put sunscreen in the morning weather you're home or stepping outdoors. (Must)
Skin becomes really sensitive using Retin-A.
After washing your face, give at least 2-5 minutes to your face to completely dry and then apply the Retin-A and after putting RetinA give another at least 20 minutes to your face to absorb the cream fully and then apply the moisturizer of your choice.( Make sure your moisturizer doesn't have any actives)
Another tip keep the face towel separate and also change your pillow case every day!❤

U should only use a pea size amount and avoid areas around eyes and mouth and use a sandwich method to seal it in. It's advised to apply it mostly at night before bed and use sunscreen on a daily basis . Also use only 2-3 times a week but not everyday as it's quite strong.

@@sanjuchettri166 it works for everyone i am currently using treitinion 0.025. ,you have to you use sandwich method if you dry to normal or combination skin but if you have oily skin you should use hyalu gel before then trentinion and then a moisturizer

I have been using retinol for past 1 year for freckles and its working as well..... U have to keep one thing in concern don't use it near membrane glands that's near mouth, near eye.... Just use it on cheeks and nose only... Then u will get the best results

@@Black-Wolf1008it absorbs too quickly and after 10-15mins it doesn't feels anything to skin...it is indeed light weight but I don't think it really helps to keep the face hydrate or moisturize.... especially when I was using tretinoin had serious dry face flakey skin etc

When ever we use tretinoin u have to start applyng the Vaseline first around d senstive areas like around nose, lip and eyes and then u can apply moisturizer and after geting dry u have to take the cream it is called as sandwich method..most importantly u have to wait for atleast 2 months to see the best results not for a week..hope it helps😊

I think more than the tret. its the moisturizer ( dot and key ) that you are using is clogging your pores . This moisturizer have ingredients like ceramides that really soothes your skin but it also have cocos nucifera oil which is like five out of five on comedogenic scale .
I tried it with other moisturisers as well and i still found it comedogenic but i am still going to give it a chance for sometime and let’s see.
Try cetaphil moisturizer and its cleanser...also do double cleansing
@@Pooja_Nautiyal2I hv started using retinoids too… but I use azeliac acid cream above it… I personally feel moisturiser is for ppl living in cold area and super white skin.. just cover ur eye area and lip area with thin layer of Vaseline.. and apply retinol on cheeks and forehead only.. and above that retinol put azelaic acid 10% cream… initially I used same tretinoin cream and that destroyed my glass skin.. like I had nothing on my face and then it was filled with cystic pimples that created ice pick scars.. so later I realised that I had to take care of pimples too.. so, if u get cystic pimple.. just stop retinol for a day and apply adapeline on that pimple only.. that will suppress that pimple( it is a type of retinoids too and hence can’t be used with retinol ) cross chk my facts..
steps1: Vaseline on eye and chin and nose area, and around lips and on lips
2: apply retinol only on cheeks and forehead
3. Apply Azelaic acid cream on pimple area and around chin
4: if got pimples, wait a day or two to treat pimple first.(adapeline dots on pimples) if u wake up in between nights, reapply it.. it will help to reduce pimple fast.. like in just one day or two..

Hey if your skin gets clogged very fast then use gel version.
For me the cream one was comedogenic and was not showing results but now i use gel version and it's working amazing. And don't use this daily. hope this helps ❤

You should stop using it
It happens for 1-2 months when you start using tretinoin. From the 3rd month your skin usually starts clearing. Make sure you use a good moisturizer which is hydrating and healing ornament or vaseline..other than this you don't have to use too much skincare products when you are using tretinoin

You must have taken very high amount. The one who has made the video- utna nahi lena ! Just take 1/3rd of the pea size. And only apply at your forehead & cheeks. Not even on chin or nose or near by nose. Feel free to contact if needed.

No no no please don’t do that so many actives in a day might spoil your skin. Do one thing first start with tretinoin once a week and use aziderm cream everyday at night. Then after a month or two slowly build tretinoin use to every alternate night and aziderm in the morning. It will help
