@vryeyel6519you're a money hungry doctor .....skin care does help and millions of people would not just tell that skin cares helps if all of them just went through skin brightening procedure....also skin brightening only brightens your skin , it doesn't solve your skin problems... you'd need plastic surgery for that .

    • @Kat-y_L
      @Kat-y_L 8 місяців тому

@vryeyel6519 i get what you're trying to say...but skin brightness does not cure acne rash eczema or many skin concerns for which many people does skin care. It has nothing to do with skin tone. Skin care doesn't make your fairer . You can embrace your skin tone , but no one wants to embrace acne and dry patches and rash and other skin conditions.... Skin tone and skin problems are different things , this is why even dermatologist suggests skin care.

I am a 17 year old and i have dry sensitive and acne prone skin, nothing really suits me i break out most of the times when i introduce new products on my skin, i can relate a lot with you, and i love how you are so honest with everything, i literally did everything i could, i literally bought everything i saw on youtube and i broke out even more, cut to now i have a basic skin care routine, i just use cetaphil cleanser in morning followed by the derma co 1% hylauranic acid sunscreen all over my face neck lips everywhere and i also use an spf lotion for my body, and for the lips i use the sebamed lip balm, i reapply my sunscreen after like 3-4 hours and the spf lip balm as well, at night i just wash my face with cetaphil gentle cleanser again and i follow up with a home made rice water toner that i store in a glass bottle for 7 days, and lastly i use the cosrx advanced 92 snail mucin all in one cream, i apply a thin layer of it all over my face and neck and twice a week i just use the ordinary glycolic acid ( i am just 17 so i dont think i need to apply actives daily so i follow a healing skincare routine for 5 days a week and 2 days i use actives which is on Wednesday and sunday) hope it helps :)

I had the same skin last year and still do (except the acne part). I think applying mineral sunscreen helped a lot with my acne and also a good moisturizer like dot and key ceramides and hyaluronic acid one. I see that you have the perfect routine, but you must not skip moisturizer anytime you wash your face as it is equally important for dry skin.

I have gone through the same thing as you have shared. It was so relatable. Right now my normal skin is much better. Sunscreen is actually the game changer which most of us neglect. And yes walking/exercisizing alongwith healthy eating habits. Sounds a little difficult, but its not, once we get to see the difference. Nowadays im still experimenting new stuffs but not going overboard as we all know too much products on the skin is not required.
Another thing which i believe is important are our feet. We neglect the feet most of the time. Proper detanning, scrubbing and putting a good moisturizer makes the feet feel so good.

Here are some products i use, I change products depending on the climate as i have a combination skin type, but these products have definitely helped me with clearing my skin
    During summers:
I start with a Salicylic acid face cleanser, I used the brand STUDIOWEST, but then i also changed to himalaya cuz it is cheaper and it works for me,
then I go in with a toner, which again, i used a himalaya one,
for serums, i used a salicylic acid one from THE ORDINARY cuz i did get a few pimples during summers,
then I used the PLUM GREEN TEA MOISTURISER cuz its oil free and very hydrating and
Lastly i used the PLUM GREEN TEA SUNSCREEN
    For winters,
I use the same facewash and toner, but I also used the CETAPHIL GENTLE CLEANSER
For serum, i use both Vitamin C and Salicylic, Vitamin C serum by GARNIER during the day and the latter during Night
Then , i use a heavy face moisturiser as my skin gets really dry during the winter, i like the NIVEA LIGHT MOISTURISER
And as for the sunscreen, I used the NEUTROGEN SHEER SUNCREEN
I definitely recommend these products if you have combination skin type, or if you have oily skin, you can definitely try the products i use during the summer ;)

Yeah, no hate to her, but she has clearly had some kind of in office treatments done. Everyone gets tanned in the sun, everyone gets a little lighter when they stay indoors for a long time, and your skin changes with age and hormone fluctuations but nobody has this kind of extreme and dramatic transformation by just diet and skincare. Her complexion has changed like that fair and lovely ad, like she looks 10 shades fairer. I'm not saying it's not okay, but I don't understand the point of lying about it and giving explanations like "I did diet and skincare". Everyone has lifestyle changes when they finish school and start in-office jobs, everyone was indoors during lockdown, and most people got into skincare during that time. People aren't changing skin colors out there. It's the Bollywood equivalent of "I drink a lot of water". I mean good for her, but it's not without multiple treatments of different kinds. When young girls believe this and not get the same results that would be bad for them. In a country where people are obsessed with fair skin this doesn't help.

After using all types of products for my skin specially costly one , no doubt worked very well but when you stop using them or gradually reducing the use, it will do much more damage to the skin so now I stopped all those fancy and costly product serum creams etc. I switch to natural ingredients like washing face with besan twice a week rest days with water only(inspite being working from office communte via scooty) that reduces my pimple, for winters I switch to glycerine+rosewater+lemon mix that gives glow, brighten face and softnen the skin whole winter also healthy lifestyle plays a vital role and breathing exercise like kapalbhati bhastrika anulom vilom that gives instant result in just a week..... now I'm hoping to continue this because I can't spend quater my salary on buying expensive product....😅😅😅

This video was very useful it was similar to my skincare Journey as a teenager i would complain about how any product that i try doesn't work. At that time i used any product because i didn't know what kind of skin i had so my biggest mistake was using products that were harsh for my skin another mistake was not using sunscreen since i had sensitive skin it would make break out. Soon i started to give up and stop trying any products i would only use water. Until mid high school i was able to do a bit of read search and was able to find products that fit my skin type and i also agree with you that drinking water, eating healthy, as well as the other things that you mentioned do really contribute your overall health. This video really did describe how i was feeling during my skincare journey.

I had the same type of skin - oily, dull and sensitive. I felt the moisturisers and sunscreens made them more oily and so did not use any. But after a lot of searching, I started with this routine:
    1. Aroma magic facewash for oily skin
    2. Patanjali rose water as toner (i love spraying it on my face)
    3. Minimalist Vitamin C serum in morning and niacinamide at night (tried HA also but decided to shift to a HA based moisturiser)
    4. Ponds light moisturiser with HA
    5. Dot and key pink sunscreen in the morning (The aqualogica one used to make my skin damn dull)
This has really reduced the scars i had. Now even if I get pimples, they take less time to heal. I also use pimple patches when i get big pimples just so that i don’t accidentally touch them.
I love doing this routine as this feels mentally relaxing as well. I do breathing exercises also in between two products and feel like a full meditation session is over🤣
