- My friend Andreas - @andreas722 - came to visit in his new Porsche 992 Carrera 4S so seeing as my brother - @ashribes - just picked up his brand new Aston Martin Vantage we figured we would do what any children would do and have ourselves a drag race. What made this even more interesting is the fact that these two cars are rivals yet they couldn't be any more different!

Aston Martin had a soul. Porsche is just an efficient machine.
It's hard to pick one when you're in market. I had to go with new 911s because it's a better car, new tech, new interior, faster, more comfortable. Vantage looks sexier tho😅
I was the same in choosing my 992 911cs. Same reasons as you vs the vantage, plus I was doing it through my business so could get a better residual on a 911, therefore lower monthly repayments as it holds its value more over time. Real world decision making haha
The 2021 911 turbo will not be delivered till 2022

The only reason I'd take the Vantage is because it's about the sexiest damn car I've ever seen, ESPECIALLY in convertible form. And this is coming from a 1,000+ hp Caddy that has always been willing to sacrifice looks for performance....
Note that the Porsche also gets its best (straight-line) edge off the line. I doubt it runs with the Vantage once you are at speed....
