It suppresses the feeling of being hungry always and I dont feel sickly unlike before when I sneeze from time to time. All in all lemons do help me boost my immune system. Also, lemons do removes fats from the body along with proper exercise and good diet. Glad I was able to watch this video.

I'm a smoker, for more than 10 years. Started exercising, eating smart and implementing intermittent fasting. I feel and look better than ever!!! I'm not promoting smoking, but don't stress if you're a smoker about the effects of smoking on your body, because that stress will contribute to the negative effects of smoking. I'm talking out of experience. I used to want to quit smoking badly, but failed due to stress. Since I made peace with it I feel bettet, mentally, emotionally and physically! Take care of yourself in other aspects in your life and you'll be just fine, I believe. I trust my body is strong enough to adapt and cope. I truly believe I don't have vitamin c deficiency. Again... Just fill a 1/2 gallon mason jar with filtered hot water and 8-10 hibiscus tea bags, brew & cool. Or cold brew it. (I leave the tea bags in for days.) Then add fresh squeezed lemon juice and liquid stevia extract to taste and add ice. I also like to add a few drops of food grade essential orange oil. Hi Dr Berg! i would love if you did a video on the absence of menstration, and what to do about it, whether it’s a deficiency or what not. I’ve been on keto (healthy, clean keto that is!) since September 2019 and lost my period back in February 2020 with no signs of it thereafter. I know I’m not the only one! A video would be so great for me to help get it back! I trust your info more then any doctor! I want to get it back naturally and without “ramping up the carbs and calories” or “gain the weight back” like some websites say to do🙄 I worked hard to lose 30 lbs and I plan to keep it off! And I don’t want to take any type of meds to “regulate” my body
Also: I’m 21! 5’2 and went from 140 to 110 (happily so, and took me about a year and 3 months, so it wasn’t a ‘rapid’ weight loss) I try hard to get my macros in, I’m not starving myself or anything, I get 7hrs sleep at night, and overall take care of myself, and read all the ingredients to everything. I have a well comprehension of nutrition and how to take care of myself, just can’t seem to figure this mystery out. Hoping you can do a video so I can better understand what’s going on and how to get back on track🙏🏼

It's amazing the amount of sugar, either processed , hidden, or added in our day to day foods that we consume on a regular basis. Our taste buds get accustomed to this added sweetness. Lemons are construed as bitter or sour but can be reasonably sweet
once you ween yourself off sugar. Eating lemons or limes in prepared dishes are my go to first, followed by juicing and adding ginger and turmeric. One caveat though which is not often mentioned that if you do consume lemon/lime juices in a straight or watered down form, rinse your mouth with water afterwards as the acidity can
damage the enamel of your teeth.
    Very informative Dr.
Appreciate the time in making these videos.

    Dear Dr Berg,
I have learned so much from you. Please will you help me understand.
    1. I have been isolated with my family for more than a month from start June 2021.
    2. My family remained healthy and vibrant up to now.
    3. I have been on a fast since 31 May 21. First it was 3 days dry fast no water no food and then water and the stuff you suggest to add to a fast (ie green powder and nutritional yeast).
    4. Then from day 7 onwards I added some soups etc, so it was not a real fast more like a Daniel fast up to day 21.
    5. And then on the 21st day of the fast (21 June) I started feeling something in my chest, like a hardness, like when you have beonchitis and its not ready to cough out.
    I felt sick.
I started eating normal again on the 21st however small portions first (my husband was upset with me for fasting in the winter and depriving my body of vital nutrients and blamed my sick feeling on that)
My problem: since then up to now 6 July 21 I am on and off with feeling fluish. Sore throat. Feeling tired, really miserable, sneezing. The moment I feel that I start drinking olive leaf extract and vitamin C and all the other tonics I have. Then it goes away. Then its usually just a day or wven a couple of hours then it starts again. Then I fight it off again with all the health stuff I use and greens and garlic and ginger and mushroom etc....then it goes away....then it comes again some hours later.
I have been fighting this for so long now and I want to shake it off completely.
    Any advice?

I was on Keto for a while but I am having serious side effects from it now. I started having a lot more pain in my bones, especially in my spine and I'm only 34. I had a lot of inflammation and was recently diagnosed with Vertigo. I've been reading I cannot have beef, pork, or lamb anymore as they are some of my triggers. So Keto is kinda dead in the water for me. I'm going over to a pescatarian diet instead and mitigating the increase in carbs with more exercise. Grapefruit is a crucial component to a diet for those with Vertigo and also other citrus fruits. There's a doctor on here who is a Vertigo specialist and has been treating Vertigo successfully for 17 years. His advice; eat 75% fruits and veggies and 25% lean meats and have a grapefruit every morning. So I'm 2 days in and his advice shows truth. My dizziness is a little bit less. My flair ups were so bad that it's too early to tell how well this advice will hold up. Gonna see where this takes me after 60 days.

I have carnitine deficiency and am morbidly obese. I have asked different doctors about a low carb or a keto diet and usually I'm told I can't do it.
Two years ago I found a doctor to supervise me, but I ended up with water retention due to his recommendation of glasses of salt water for leg cramps. By the third week I had developed congestive heart failure and had to be hospitalized Since you explain things so well, can you tell me why?
I guess there are other people with this metabolic disorder and they want to know too.

I know that diabetics benefit greatly from following a low carb diet, but most of these diets, for example Keto, are against fruit consumption, including citrus. I think we need some kind of compromise here, because flavonoids are extremely beneficial to our health: maintains the suppleness of blood vessels, reduce oxidative stress, improves liver health, improves digestion, and so much more. One of the flavonoids that helps diabetics is narinjinin in oranges and grapefruits. It revives and restores beta cell function, which is a plus for T2D. I hope you can do a video in which you elaborate further on the benefits of citrus, and how these can be consumed safely without spiking glucose and insulin levels. Portion size is important here, so please take the time to clarify how we may consume citrus, while keeping blood sugar levels safe. Thanks.

So I bought some small size ice cube trays and froze them. Now I’ll find out when is a good time to add to my diet . I eat huge salads now with lots of sprouts. Do you eat sprouts. They must be filled with nutrients. I’ve lost 15 lbs so far and want to loose 15 more . I’m 6’ 2”. 195 would be a good weight . I go to the gym so there is mussel mass.

Soak chia seeds between 1 teaspoon to a tablespoon over nite in a large glass or a mason jar. The next day add some cooled down boiling water which is warm to hot. Add as much lemon juice as you can handle but must make your face screws up from the sourness. The more lemon juice the better. Drink the lemon water and at the end drink down the chia seeds and the gel it formed from soaking. You can squeeze many lemons at once and freeze into ice cubes or drink bottles etc and keep some juice in the fridge also
