I microplane the peels of lemons, limes, oranges, and mandarins after a thorough wash in baking soda and water and drying. I don't know if there's any nutritional benefit to the dried peels, but they add flavor to pork, chicken, fish and seafood, rice, and sweet/sour dishes. They're good in any cold salad or drink in the summer.
I've been alternating between lemon, lime, and organic ACV in water with a pinch of himalayan pink salt every morning. I'm on crutches and would like to toss them, but I need a hip replacement first. Thanks for this information, I love limes!

I am also on this regime for a year now however, I have not realized any real difference in the pain level in my feet as yet. I plan to give it 2 years, and will continue if I see progress, keep healing

My favorite way to use limes is to chop up and blend a bag of limes and a bag of lemons in my Vitamix, put in ice tray and freeze. Then first thing each morning 1 drop a cube in a liter of hot water, add a pinch of Celtic or Himalayan sea salt and drink it down. Then at night, 1 cube in my chamomile and green tea. This way I get the benefit of both lemons and limes. Been doing this for a while, but I cant say I have seen any dramatic improvement in my mental or physical wellbeing. Now that I know how great limes are I will continue to get as much into my diet as I can.

A few years ago on the night before I was due to travel back to the US from the Caribbean my lower back began to ache then I saw blood in the urine. Desperately I emailed my sister and asked her to call our natural path for advice , ,,,,,,,,,which was to get limes cut it open and rub the inside of both arms as much as possible. The moment I touched down on Florida where I was overnighting with family before heading up North I purchased limes and starting rubbing them on the inside of my arms and drinking a lot of water.
Within an hour the pain was easing a lot and my urine had less and less blood in it.. I rubbed lime constantly on my arms and by the time I arrived home two days later... the condition was all but gone.
Oh yeah, limes and lemons play a part in my diet every day because of my miraculous healing.
Thank you for the further information and the reminder of the power of limes and lemons. 🌹

Last year I was having a health crisis at 60 years of age. I was walking on a cane had a blood clot in my left leg. It was very serious my ninth DVT and I changed my diet with keto. I’ve lost 40 pounds and I was drinking an orange, lemon, rind and all. All organic chopped up in my ninja with ginger and cinnamon cloves and cayenne pepper and Stevia and it made a huge difference in the inflammation of my body. I did that for over six months we still drink fresh lemon juice every day, but not on the scale of what I was drinking it, but I am going to amp it up a little bit more than I have been, thank you for your video. It was informative and excellent.

@@americanlifeko6692 I have neuropathy as well, with tingling, burning, pain and numbness in my feet, that lemon drink helped some but I saw on Dr. Berg's site about using alpha lipoic acid along with Benfotamine well that was a huge game changer, I went off those two supplements for 2 weeks and all my pain and symptoms came back, I went right back on them and it's gone, well at least 99% and that was a huge relief for me too. as we get older we have to figure out what works to retain and regain back some of our health but we have to be super active and motivated to make those changes, I felt like I was on my way 'out' and the pain levels I experienced were 15 on a scale of 1-10. It's not at that level anymore but it's still there just a lower grade of pain, but I can live with it for the most part, I've been on this journey now for a year and am much improved, I need to lose another 20-30lbs. but I don't have the lethargy and exhaustion like I did when I was on a high carb diet, In fact yesterday we had a high carb meal for breakfast and I couldn't figure out why I was so exhausted and sleepy all yesterday morning and by noon-1pm I was so hungry, normally I do till 2-3pm before I'm ready to eat but then I realized it was that unusual high carb meal that did it, back to my higher protein, low carb meals for me. I can't believe I lived like that for so long, I feel so much better now than I did a year ago.

My urine was very cloudy and I experienced a stinging feeling in my UT and had problems peeing. I watched a few videos which led me to try limes to help flush out stones. Two days later, my urine cleared and the stinging was gone. Give it a try !

Thanks to you and Dr. Monteiro I am having steady success with healing the peripheral neuropathy in my hands and feet. I take my Nuphoria Gold faithfully every day and also use my HealthLight pads regularly. You will appreciate the fact that one of my three cats has learned to appreciate the infrared therapy too! She is 14 years old and has some hip discomfort. I held the small pad on her and after a few suspicious looks, she realized how good it felt. She will now get on the arm of the couch and if I don’t have the pad hooked up she taps me on my shoulder to request a treatment! Again, thank you both for saving me the anguish and dispare of big pharma and unnecessary medical exams. Love and gratitude, 🥰🐅 Linda

I ferment my own jalapenos with the Redmonds sea salt brine and bottle it up and keep it in the fridge. It only takes a minute to add some of the fermented jalapenos into the blender with fresh garlic, a peeled seedless lime, some fresh cilantro, and a dash or two of cumin and that is the best fresh salsa that goes on anything. I can practically drink this salsa from the bottle! Love limes.

Hi Cecile. BMS is a form of neuropathic pain, so it should be treated just like peripheral neuropathy. First, start with a good quality nerve support formula. Then make sure you've switched your diet to a healthy diet loaded with antioxidants. If you can comfortably drink acidic beverages like lemon or lime juice, I would start by consuming the juice of 1 lime and 1 lemon each day. You can drink them together or separate them. It doesn't matter. You may need to use photobiomodulation as well, but I would give it at least 4 months of taking a nerve support formula, following either an anti-inflammatory diet or a keto diet before diving in to PBM.
